I love animals and animals love me!
I have been taking care of animals throughout my 37 years of life. Between working at a vet for several years - working with Rover for over 5 years - and my own pets since I was 2 - I have a ton of experience with all different types of animals and situations. I know how to work with any type of special quirks and I am not afraid to earn trust in those pets who are a little less trusting - even if it takes time. I've administered all types of medication - between oral, shots, ointments, and drops. I will follow instructions to a T and try my ultimate best to keep each pet at what they are accustomed to - even when in my own home. My passion is animals - any one who knows me knows that is a fact, so if you ever leave your pet in my care - know you can fully rely on my ability to care and love your fur baby like they were my own.

Whitney was wonderful taking care of my cat, Luna, who requires medication, as well as watching the other two and the house. Would definitely recommend and book again!
Whitney was amazing! She was great with our fussy girl and made sure she had everything she needed while we were gone including giving her medication daily and making sure she was comfortable! She was extremely communicative and we could tell she really cared for Kitty like she was her own. We could not recommend more!

Whitney was great! Comunicative and friendly. Her family is all involved and you can tell love dogs. Our girls loved staying there and got lots of love. We would confidently leave them with her again.

Schedule
I stay home with my two daughters as they attend virtual schooling during the school year. My mother lives with my family as well - so pets are virtually never left alone. I have three kids - son 14, daughter 12, and daughter 7. All kids have grown up around animals and know how to read ques if an animal is uncomfortable, and love to play/cuddle with those who are more social. I have to say, every animal who has stayed with us - goes home feeling like they were at a home away from home - because they always have someone available for attention and love!!

Safety, trust & environment
Just moved into our home, working on building a fence - but do have a moveable fence and/or we will take the pups on walks - until our fence gets finished. We watch our doors very carefully to ensure no escape artists make a quick getaway. We allow animals on the furniture- unless specifically asked not to. We don't crate - unless specifically asked to use a crate while we are running errands/or at night time.

We go lots of walks as a family - and my kids love to play with the dogs in the home or out in the yard.

- Let me know if your pet has any special needs or something I need to pay attention to. I worked at a vet for several years, so I am experienced with administrating meds and/or even administrating shots such as insulin. I know some dogs have quirks too - like don't like being picked up (if smaller) or don't like ears,belly, paws touched.....ect... Want to make sure the owner and pet is just as much comfortable with me as I am them.
