About: I've housesat and looked after friend's pets (both cats and dogs, young and old) for well over a decade and have attracted multiple new clients through word of mouth. I love getting to know your pets and keeping them company while you're away. I also have some experience with pet medications and disabilities for older pets. I work full-time Mon-Fri in Lakeville from roughly 8am-5pm, so generally weekends are best for me for housesitting (Friday nights through Sundays), though staying overnight on weekdays are just as viable depending on location and frequency of daily pet care. Drop-in visits are similar, though weekdays are much easier to schedule for early mornings or evenings. Details can easily be negotiated through text or in-person meet-ups. I try to stick to any routines or schedules you have with your pets (walking, feeding, treat giving, playtime, bedtime etiquette, etc). While housesitting, I'll usually stay at your home as much as I can during the week and almost all day on weekends to keep your pets company by playing or chilling with them depending on their level of activity. When I leave, I make sure everything from last-minute potty breaks to washing any bedsheets I use is taken care of before I leave. For drop-ins, I'll stay with your pet for however long you need. I'll also take pictures throughout my stay so you know your furry friend is doing alright (or if I catch them being silly!)

After we returned home, I noticed that Riley's card was filled out, and there was a detailed note, along with photos of Riley's day, showing that she had gone for a walk and played with her dogs. Overall, I would rate the experience as excellent, and Riley will definitely be visiting again.”

About: We are a dog-loving family, especially of the small variety! I have been taking care of dogs for most of my life and began sitting through Rover three years ago. We are a homeschool family, so my 9 and 7-year-old daughters enjoy helping with feeding, playing with, and cuddling the pups. We also have a one-year-old son, so the doggies we take must be ok with small children. Our 12-year-old Shih Tzu, Dulce, also really enjoys having doggy company, and we only accept small dogs to accommodate her. We promise to treat your sweet pup like he/she is a beloved member of the family! We homeschool so someone is usually available for a quick potty break or belly rub! Walking outdoors (in nice weather) is a favorite family activity so we try to take the dogs out daily. In the event we don’t make it out on a walk, the pups get their exercise and sniffs in by playing in the backyard. Our dog Dulce loves to have a partner in crime chasing squirrels our large fenced backyard! We are an active family with two girls (ages 9 & 7) and a 1-year-old son who also love to play and interact with the dogs. Our house has hardwood floors for easy cleaning. Guest doggies are welcome to sleep next to our bed on their doggy bed, or if they sneak up to find a cozy spot next to our feet we won’t complain!

About: I am experienced in senior pets, and reactive dogs. I can walk reactive dogs up to 30 pounds. I avoid busy times and know to look for triggers before the pup notices. I do not have a weight limit for non-reactive dogs. Additionally, I have experience with freshwater aquariums, parrots, hamsters, and mice! Play, cuddles (or space), and leashed walks will keep us quite busy! Expect a lot of photos. I do have a peanut allergy so I am not able to offer peanut based treats, and ask that they be put away beforehand. Thank you! Over the years, I've gained experience raising two puppies of different breeds, giving me a strong understanding of puppy care, training consistency, socialization, and the patience that young dogs need as they grow and learn. I've also cared for senior dogs, including administering medications and accommodating age-related mobility and health needs. In addition, I have experience working with special-needs and disabled dogs, and I understand the importance of providing compassionate, individualized care tailored to each dog's unique situation. As a teacher on summer break, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pet. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, enrichment activities, or simply relaxing with a caring companion, I'll make sure they receive the attention, affection, and care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. I'll keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable, secure, and loved—just like they do with you. I look forward to meeting you and your pet and providing the same level of care I would want for my own pets! I am currently not working a set schedule so I have plenty of time for all of your pet care needs! I can do house sitting, dog walking and drop ins on any day of the week. When I stay in someone’s home to care for their pet, I will treat it with the upmost respect, leaving it better than I found it. I am clean, respectful and responsible.
