I’d have more if my husband okayed it! 😂 I am a teacher on summer break and have a lot of flexibility in my daily schedule. I would love to fill my days up with walking dogs! About: We are a dog-loving family, especially of the small variety! I have been taking care of dogs for most of my life and began sitting through Rover three years ago. We are a homeschool family, so my 9 and 7-year-old daughters enjoy helping with feeding, playing with, and cuddling the pups. We also have a one-year-old son, so the doggies we take must be ok with small children. Our 12-year-old Shih Tzu, Dulce, also really enjoys having doggy company, and we only accept small dogs to accommodate her. We promise to treat your sweet pup like he/she is a beloved member of the family! We homeschool so someone is usually available for a quick potty break or belly rub! Walking outdoors (in nice weather) is a favorite family activity so we try to take the dogs out daily. In the event we don’t make it out on a walk, the pups get their exercise and sniffs in by playing in the backyard. Our dog Dulce loves to have a partner in crime chasing squirrels our large fenced backyard! We are an active family with two girls (ages 9 & 7) and a 1-year-old son who also love to play and interact with the dogs. Our house has hardwood floors for easy cleaning. Guest doggies are welcome to sleep next to our bed on their doggy bed, or if they sneak up to find a cozy spot next to our feet we won’t complain!

Renee offered a full refund and apologized sincerely, but I declined. Riley has separation anxiety, and if she isn't comfortable walking, that's her choice. Renee did an excellent job, was very friendly, and Riley warmed up to her right away. I will definitely request Renee for future walks and recommend her to anyone seeking pet care services.”

Our first family dog was a Cocker Spaniel named Chloe and after school my duties were walking her, feeding her, and bathing her when necessary. Fast forward to now, I owned a Husky Basenji mix named Aldo who is a character, but the best. He lives with my ex fulltime, but I see him on occasion to spoil him. I have watched my former roommate's deaf dog when she needed some help during work. I work from home fulltime, which allows me to be very open when it comes to my schedule. I do waitress part-time on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights; depending on location I’d need to leave the home at 3:30-4pm those nights and back by 10:30-11pm. I have my one dog, Aldo, in the home, and have a two bedroom, two bath apartment home. It is very spacious with plenty of room to play, roam, and relax. Pets are allowed on the furniture here and I have space for crating if necessary. I have two fenced in dog parks on property if your dog enjoys interacting with other dogs. I have great walking paths around here as well. If it is too cold outside, we can play inside with the space I have.

“We were very comfortable leaving our girls with Alka and Rajeev. Our dogs are older, and stress out in a kennel type setting - so leaving them in a home was a priority for us. I have cared for many different types, sizes, personalities, and energy levels, including senior dogs who may need extra patience, attention, and specialized care. I understand that every dog has different needs and routines, and I take the time to learn what makes each dog comfortable and happy. I have also raised dogs of my own, giving me hands-on experience with daily care, training, routines, exercise, feeding, medications when needed, and recognizing when a dog needs extra attention. I’m reliable, attentive, flexible, and communicative, and I treat every dog in my care like a member of my own family. My Daily Routine Because I work from home with a flexible schedule, caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout much of the day, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and walks without them feeling like they are simply being left alone. I typically start the day with potty time, breakfast, and some attention or a walk before settling into work. Throughout the workday, I take breaks to check on the dogs, let them outside for potty breaks using a leash or tie-out, other walk as needed to give them attention, and make sure they are comfortable. They are welcome to relax near me while I work, and I can adjust my routine based on each dog’s individual needs. I do occasionally need to be away from home for work or other commitments, but I’m very flexible and plan my schedule around the dogs in my care whenever possible. I’m comfortable adjusting feeding, potty breaks, walks, medications, rest time, or other routines to match what your dog is accustomed to. My goal is to provide a calm, loving home environment where your dog can feel comfortable, included, and cared for while you’re away. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m happy to work with their individual personality, age, energy level, and routine. I treat every dog in my home like one of my own, while following the routine and preferences their family has established for them with love, attention and affection.
