“This is a very welcoming, pet loving home. I especially like that she doesn't care for many pets at the same time. Your fenced backyard is a real bonus and my dog loves being able to run and play in the snow. My dog is family and she spent a week at Barbara's and it was by far the best boarding experience we've ever had.”

“Our dog Rio had a BLAST with Rachelle and Dan. They were very detailed oriented when it came to Rio’s special needs. They also sent the perfect amount of updates and pictures throughout the stay. Definitely will book again!”

“Kiirsten was a great communicator before and during her care of my old, blind dog. I was confident that the dog was in a good place, which made my vacation stress free. Easy drop off and pick up. The experience couldn't have been better.”

“Hyeyoon was wonderful! She followed our dog’s daily routine to a tee and asked such thoughtful questions. We received pictures and updates each day. We will definitely use her again!”

“Kristen and Nels were both super friendly and made Togepi feel so at home. I loved receiving the photo updates each day. I would highly recommend booking with them!”

“Catherine is amazing! She was super responsive & flexible with a last minute change in schedule, administered antibiotics while we were away, and we feel totally comfortable leaving our pup in her care.”

“Julie, Ben & family were amazing caregivers!!! Goldie had a great time at their house & we loved getting updates and pictures during her stay! Thank you Julie, Ben & the kids!!!”

“Angela was amazing! I have had lots of sitters with rover and with family and Angela is by far my favorite. I didn’t worry about my dog once durning a week long vacation. She kept me updated, sent me pictures and my dog loved her (maybe too much haha not sure if my dog wanted to go back to me 😊) I really appreciate Angela and all she did for Rosie. Definitely a great sitter, I wasn’t sure I wanted to write my review like this because of wanting to keep Angela as my little secret but my dog is old and not sure if I’ll need to use Rover anytime soon so I thought I’d share her 😉”

“I can’t recommend Brooke enough! This was Archie’s first stay with a sitter since our move, and I was honestly so nervous leaving him. From the moment I met her, I knew he was in great hands. She kept me updated throughout his stay, and it was such a relief knowing he was safe, loved, and treated like one of her own. Archie settled in so well, ate all of his meals, and even made himself at home (including sleeping in bed with her 😂), which says so much about the environment she provides. As a flight attendant, finding someone I can truly trust with my dog while I’m away is invaluable, and I’m so incredibly thankful I found Brooke. She is kind, communicative, and genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. Archie came home happy, relaxed, and I already know she’ll be my go-to sitter moving forward. If you’re looking for someone to care for your pet like family, I wholeheartedly recommend her! Thank you again, Brooke! ❤️”

“Charlie was a wonderful host to our Golden. Quick responses and very knowledgeable about dogs 🐶 we would highly recommend him if you are looking for quality dog care.”

“Julie did a great job caring for my dog while we were away for a week. She has a very spacious backyard for dogs to roam and she’s able to give the care and attention your dog needs. I have peace of mind knowing my dog is in good hands when she needs boarding 🙂”

“Kaylee was a wonderful sitter for miko! She was both kind and attentive to all his needs especially as a wheelchair pup. She always checked in with me and gave me updates on his care. She’s such a sweet person and I think any pup that stays with her will like her!”

“Howie and Betsy were so great with our puppy. You can tell they love dogs!! Yoshi was very well cared for and communication was super easy. I will definitely being using Howie again in the future”

“Louie and Cherry always have a good time with Anna, David, and Isaac! They are very relaxed in their home and return to us happy and cuddly. Thank you for watching our two tiny babes!”

“Saniya did a great job watching our dog Wally! We can tell he felt loved and received a lot of attention and cuddles. Also she was great at sending pictures of the pup. Would highly recommend her!”

“Jessie was great! She watched my two dogs Violet and Kala and they had a great time and got lots of snuggles. She gave me updates and pictures everyday which really helped put me at ease while I was away.”

“Maggie and Cooper had a blast with Rikki and Daniel! They were truly “dog people”. She sent updates throughout the weekend and was very easy going and responsive with any questions I had.”
“Joayne and her kids were great with Frankie. She shared pictures and kept us updated with quick messages about her days. Communication was very clear, making the meet & greet thru pick-up a breeze.”

“Wow. What can I say. We were blown away by Emily’s kindness. She is the ultimate dog mom, sweet and caring. We took the longest trip we’ve ever taken away from our pup (miniature dachshund). Emily set up a meet and greet so our pup could meet her lovely dogs. Emily asked a ton of questions to get to know our dog. Which made me feel so much better. The meet & greet went great and meeting Emily put all my fears of leaving our pup aside. I knew our pup would be well loved and cared for and boy was she ever! We received daily updates, photos and videos. It was so nice to see her while we were so far away. Knowing she was being spoiled while we were across the world made our trip that much more enjoyable. As you all know, leaving a pup is like leaving a child. I never once worried about her. If you are looking for a loving, caring sitter for your pup, Emily is your gal. We plan to use her for our dog sitter as long as she’s willing. We are so lucky we found her!! Thank you so much, Emily!!!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Kayla. I have 4 cats and she makes sure to shower them each with attention. She is the most thorough, responsible, responsive, and sweet cat-sitter I’ve ever worked with. She handled giving my cat her medication like a pro. She is great about seeing to their litter. But what I love most about Kayla cat-sitting is her updates and photos she sends me (so thoughtful!)! I know my cats are safe and well taken care of with Kayla. She’s just the best!”

“Rachel went above and beyond when taking care of Rocket! There was always communication, she took care of the litter without needing to and accommodated my special situation given the key FOB. Super appreciative of what Rachel has done for me and especially Rocket! From the incredibly thoughtful and detailed Rover cards, Rocket, who I was sure would be a hermit the entire week, opened up almost immediately. Rachel is THE cat whisperer, and you should not hesitate when booking with her! Thank you SO MUCH!”

“Carla did a great job looking after my cat. She was extremely responsive to questions and directions and sent lots of pictures, so I knew he was well taken care of. I hadn't used Rover before and was a bit nervous, she did a great job putting me at ease and I'll definitely be checking her availability if I need a pet sitter in the future.”

“Great sitter, came by every day to check on my cat and made sure there was always food and water. My car is normally a bit shy but started to be more social after the 1st day which was good to see”

Cola was well-accompanied and comfortable during her visits. I truly appreciate Alyssa’s care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter!”

“Jennifer gave lots of loving care to my cat while I was away for a week. I would often get pictures of them snuggling and seeing him play happily with his favorite toy. When I arrived back home, my cat seemed happy and was doing well. I’d recommend Jennifer as a cat sitter anytime :)”

“Anna has cat sat for us twice now. Highly recommend! Reliable, thoughtful, clearly loves animals. Provided lots of photos and comprehensive daily reporting which was greatly appreciated. Anna goes above and beyond!”

“Clara took excellent care of my kitties while I was away! Great communication and response time. I would recommend Clara for any of your pet sitting needs!”

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for them. Over the years, I’ve cared for multiple dogs through pet sitting, including looking after my mother’s 14-year-old senior dog for two weeks while she was traveling. These experiences have given me strong confidence in handling dogs of different ages, temperaments, and care needs. I currently accept only one dog at a time so I can provide my full attention and ensure a calm, safe, and comfortable environment. I understand that every dog has unique routines and preferences, and I carefully follow each owner’s detailed instructions to make sure their pet feels secure and well cared for. I treat every dog as if they were my own, focusing on attentive, patient, and loving care. My goal is to create a stress-free experience for both you and your dog. During the holiday season, I’ll have a flexible schedule and plenty of time at home. My family enjoys spending quiet days together, so pet care easily fits into our routine. We’ll make sure each pet gets regular walks, playtime, and affection throughout the day. Boarding at my home: My family will spend most of our time at home, so your pet will enjoy calm company in a quiet and cozy environment. We provide clean spaces, regular outdoor breaks, and lots of affection to help them feel like part of the family.
“Jessie cared for our Bernese Mountain Dog for a day of dog daycare. She responded quickly to my Initial request. We had a nice meet and greet where Jessie asked a lot of good question trying to make sure that she understood the needs of our dog. The drop off and pick up were smooth. We also received a super summary of Koda's day and photos. Top notch service. My family would highly recommend booking your dog with Jessie.”

“Our dog had a great first time visit with Jen! He had lots of other dogs to play with, and I appreciated all the photos and videos Jen shared with us throughout the day. A successful first Rover booking!”

“Alyson is wonderful! Our pup stayed with her while we were visiting town and I'm so so glad we found her. Alyson was super responsive and easy to communicate with and really flexible. Plus my pup was zonked out after we picked him up, so he must have played a lot and had a great time.”

About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.
“Paul and Teri are the absolute best! They’ve taken care of Rosie twice now and have been so sweet and accommodating. Rosie has a hard time getting used to men and Paul is very patient and sweet with her. I can tell it’s a good day when she comes home exhausted from playing! thank you both very much!”

“Leigh was very attentive to our dog Hercules needs. he seemed to have so much fun playing with her dogs Waffles and Winston. We were a bit confusing with our pick up schedule but she patiently worked with us and all was great. Definitely, going to use Leigh again.”

“Great experience having Robert watch my pup - highly recommended, especially for a high-energy dog. Will definitely be coming to him in the future when I need someone to take care of her while I'm in Minneapolis.”

About: I have taken care of many dogs and cats over the years. I have had 5 dogs and 6 cats myself in my lifetime. I regularly take care of a 14 year old dachshund. I have been caring for him for over 8 years now. He comes to my place and stays up to a couple of weeks several times a year. My dog and cat both get along with others very well. Deru is the little guys name. He is a diabetic. I have many years of experience giving him his insulin shots and special food needs. I feel I can handle most any pets needs with little or no problems. I have many many references I can share with whoever would like them? I love rescuing dogs and cats. I love trying to help place them in loving homes. I also know many vets in town that would also give me great references as well. I can't think of anything I would rather do with my life than taking care of dogs, and cats!! I have a dog and a cat myself. My dog is a high energy dog so she gets dog park time every day as well as walks around her neighborhood almost daily. I only have a partially fenced yard. However I will not let a clients dog of a leash unless we are at an off leash dog park.

“Marisa did a great job handling three-month-old Basie’s first time away from his home and family. She even took the time to do a meet-and-greet between her dog and Basie ahead of time to make sure they would get along together. She also made sure that Basie had fun and got to do some safe exploring and socializing. I would definitely feel comfortable having her look after Basie in the future.”

“Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

“We just love having Carla come to the house for visits! I really look forward to her updates & truly love all of her photos & walk narrations she sends. I am so thankful for her consistent communication, reliability & flexibility! She’s the best, highly recommend for any care you need for your fur babes!”

“I fell on the ice and messed up my knee so I needed someone to walk my dog at the last minute. Kiah so kindly filled in for me with my “must-have-a-walk” Dalmatian. Poppy was SO happy to see Kiah for her second walk already, which told me that I made a good choice. Thank you so much for helping me out in a pinch! Poppy and I will definitely be in touch again!”

About: Hi, I'm Caitlin! Being a pet parent is special, and I genuinely understand what it means to trust someone with your pet. I lost my 15-year-old dog last year, and that kind of loss changes how you see pet care, and it's exactly why I take this seriously. Every animal in my home gets real attention, a consistent routine, and the kind of care I'd want for my own. My home is a calm, adults-only environment with a fully fenced yard to ensure safe outdoor time, and my neighborhood is a quiet tucked away pocket near Cedar Lake. While I try to board pets only from the same home, there can at times be exceptions (mostly holidays). While my main living area is on one level, there are stairs required to get into the home via the front door. I also welcome & love cats. I've been fostering through Pet Haven for over a year, so I understand what a cat actually needs in a new space (spoiler: it's not just food and good vibes), and how to introduce pets to a decompression space and other pets they are not familiar with. I keep my roster intentionally small so I can give every animal genuine attention, not assembly-line pet care. You'll get photos and updates throughout, so you can actually enjoy your time away. If you want someone who treats your pets the way you would, please send me a message! I'm currently in between jobs, which means I have maximum flexibility for mid-day walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I only confirm stays I can genuinely support. I build the routine around the pet to the best of my ability. I'll ask you what your animal's schedule looks like at home and do my best to mirror it. I know consistency matters! I treat communication as part of the service. You won't wonder how your pet is doing. At my home: As often as possible I try to start every stay with a meet-and-greet so your pet arrives already familiar with the space and with me. I'll ask you in advance about their routine (feeding schedule, walk preferences, any quirks or triggers) and I follow it to the best of my ability. My home is calm, adults-only, and has a fully fenced yard for dogs. For cats, I set up a dedicated decompression space so they can settle in at their own pace. I typically do not take overlapping bookings unless the pets are from the same household, but there are sometimes exceptions. At your home: I follow whatever directions you leave. I'll send photo updates so you know things are normal, and I'll flag anything that seems off rather than wait until you're home. For cats especially, in-home sitting is often the lower-stress option, and after a year of fostering, I know how to read a cat who's fine versus one who isn't.
“Kiirsten was absolutely amazing with our process! She was kind, attentive, and made sure she got plenty of exercise and love. We received updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!”

“Shannon did a great job with walking our dog, Keba. Keba was so excited to meet her! Although Keba was initially hesitant to walk away from the house with her, Shannon gave her a few of our dog treats and Keba happily walked along. The picture Shannon sent with Keba’s huge smile on her face says it all. I highly recommend Shannon for dog walking and connecting with your pup. We’ll definitely have Shannon walk Keba again.”

“Kayla was a life saver for me this past week! I typically work from home but was traveling for work - so Kayla came over during the workdays to take Barley for a walk. She was flexible, responsive, and loving towards my two-year-old golden. She even offered to bring Barley a raincoat when it was raining one day the days! I will definitely be using Kayla again on my next work trip!”

I will always be keeping a careful watchful eye on any animals in the house as well as following any rules set in place by the owners and in case of any emergency, I’ve got a vet as a sister on speed dial.

Could stay during the week, but may need to be gone during the day up to 8 hours for work. About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my genuine passion for animals combined with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and needs. I specialize in both puppy training and senior dog care, which means I’m not just here to watch over your dog I’m here to support their well-being at every stage of life. With puppies, I focus on positive reinforcement, helping them build confidence, learn basic commands, and feel safe in new environments. With senior dogs, I’m patient and attentive to their comfort, health routines, and any mobility challenges they may have. I also prioritize clear communication with pet parents, keeping you updated with photos, messages, and detailed notes so you always feel connected and reassured while you’re away. Above all, I treat every dog like family—with kindness, respect, and lots of love. I organize my days around making sure each dog in my care gets the attention, activity, and comfort they need—whether that means morning walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or simply quiet companionship. I set aside time every day for exercise, training, and one-on-one interaction to build trust and keep pets happy and mentally stimulated. On a weekly basis, I plan for grooming needs, restocking supplies, and adjusting routines to fit each pet’s personality and preferences. In My Home: I maintain a calm and pet-friendly space with plenty of room to play, rest, and explore. I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding schedules, walks, medication if needed, and preferred activities. I limit the number of pets I take at once to ensure personalized attention and a peaceful atmosphere. In My Client’s Home: I respect your home as if it were my own and follow your pet’s established routine to keep them as relaxed and happy as possible. I make sure they’re well-fed, exercised, and emotionally cared for. I also keep the space clean, send regular updates, and can handle light home tasks like bringing in mail or watering plants if needed. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, I treat them like family—with patience, love, and reliability.
About: As a pre-veterinary student, I’m especially attentive to animal behavior, routines, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and well cared for. I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities since I was very young, with working experience in both shelters and pet hospitals. I’m flexible, reliable, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, or older, my goal is always to make them feel safe and loved while you’re away! I'm working part-time this summer, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available most weekends and weekday afternoons/evenings for walks, playtime, cuddles, or just keeping your furry friend company until you’re back! I strive to be respectful of household routines, feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any other special instructions and/or medications your pet may need. I always try to make pets feel as comfortable and as safe as possible in their own environment. I will provide your pet with lots of attention, playtime, and supervision while also keeping their space clean, calm, and organized. Building trust with both pets and owners is really important to me, so I prioritize communication and reliability during every visit.
About: I've been dog sitting for the last 10 years, and caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. I grew up with three dogs, a Standard Poodle and two Mini Goldendoodles, so I'm very comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Through years of pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors, I've learned how important it is to keep pets on their normal routine while giving them plenty of love and attention. I have a pretty open availability at the moment so I can help let you dogs out/walk them anytime! So excited to meet your pups! Your pet's safety and happiness are always my top priorities. I'll carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, and any special needs to make sure your pet is comfortable and well cared for. I'll also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I'll treat your furry family member with the same love and care I would give my own.

“If I could leave greater than 5 stars, I would. I cannot express my appreciation for the pet sitting services and communication of Oleksandr and his family enough. Oleksandr and his family cared for our puppy (11months old) for over 2 weeks and maintained regular and ongoing contact with descriptions of the day and many pictures everyday. Our puppy was given a daily routine of walks, play, quiet and caretaking time. Our puppy was so active and loved the entire time she was there, she was hesitant to come back home with us! Truly a great family who are gifted at caring for dogs who are away from home.”

About: My husband and I frequently dog sit our family and friends’ dogs and want to share the love as I am newly working remotely with ample time on my hands! We offer boarding services in our home where I will be WFH during the day. I work remotely with meetings scattered throughout my day so I have time to do walks, potty breaks, etc. Frequently have activities after work but dog likely wouldn’t be home alone for more than 4 hours at a time! We have a fenced yard and quiet street! Eager to have a coworker at home with me during my slow days and can give lots of attention during the day.
