About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my lifelong love and experience with animals—I grew up with pets of my own and truly understand the care and attention they need. As a dog lover at heart, I treat every pet like family. My passion for the outdoors means your dog will enjoy plenty of fresh air and long, enriching walks. I also have a special place in my heart for relaxed, elderly pets and am more than happy to provide the gentle care, patience, and extra snuggles they deserve. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are my top priorities. I am a Physician Assistant and have a wide array of availability. I keep my rover schedule up to date and frequently have evening availability during the weeks! I will foster a safe environment for your loved ones, making sure that all their needs are met! I am trustworthy and will put you and your animals best interest at heart.

About: I've always been a pet lover. Did pet sitting as a pre-teen and teenager. I had a soul cat for 15 years and a soul dog for 13 years. I have 2 grand-pups who I often dog sit or just take for a day adventure. I've had guinea pigs, hampsters, fish, you name it. I pass you and your animal on the street don't be offended by me going straight to them first! Animals (all animals) seem to love me back too which I LOVE! I'm currently not working or occasionally working remote contract jobs so I have plenty of time to spend spoiling your furr baby! And spoil them I will!!!! I have a condo in Minneapolis near the Sculpture Garden and Loring park. I am on the first floor with a patio and yard so plenty of space to do their business or to take a great walk. My building is small and very pet friendly. I'm also comfortable traveling out to your home since I'm central to the area.
“Rob was fantastic with Chili, our very excited puppy. He came over several times during a few day stretch, and made a special bond with him during their play times. Very responsive and flexible. We’ll definitely use Rob again!”

“Kristen was great as we requested her assistance last minute. She was very communicative and loving towards our 2 cats. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking and will definitely use her again.”

“John was fantastic with Carl! He spent a lot of extra time with Carl, who just likes to sit outside. John sent photos and plenty of updates. We're looking forward to using John again!”

“Andrew was extremely communicative, very attentive to our cat Niles’ needs, he took a lot of pictures of our kitty to reassure us, and went above and beyond taking care of our cat. Book him!”

About: I have loved and owned dogs (and other pets) all my life. I am an empty-nester now and an avid walker with no pets at home currently. We have a wonderful fenced in yard and live close to the Greenway and Grand Round paths where I love to walk. My love for dogs and walking seem to be a great intersection for this service. I hate to think of dogs at home alone while owners are at work and would love to help out by keeping them company and giving them exercise! I am an enthusiastic and nurturing "dog mom"!
“Elizabeth did what was needed to care for my cat. She made sure my cat had fresh water, food, and cleaned the litter box. Above all else, she made sure my cat was well cared for before leaving. I will definitely be hiring her again.”

“I ended up stuck in Chicago. Bus issues. So you swinging by Saturday was a good send. Midnight loves company and it seems like she appreciated it. I know I did. Thank you Maddie.”

“Rose did an amazing job meeting both of my cats needs as one of them need or a medication. She made me feel very confident while I was away with updates and pictures.”

About: Experience with dogsitting, catsitting, and housesitting. I've provided pet/house care for families who have taken extended vacations (2-5 weeks). Love to be active and play with animals! I'm responsible and consistent and willing to help with extra tasks in your home (plant care, light cleaning, taking out trash, etc.). While I can't have your pet in my home, I am able and willing to stay overnight, drop-in for extended visits/walks, and/or do what your pet needs to be comfortable. I have years of experience nannying in people’s homes and I’m currently working as a speech therapist in school and hospital settings. I hope you’ll give me a chance to take care of your pet(s)! My work schedule varies, but I generally work 3-4 weekdays from around 8-4pm. I’m able to stop by before work, after work, weekends, and of course stay over if that works best! I always try to incorporate exercise and/play into the pet’s day if possible. I try to make sure animals feel safe and cared for, giving space if they need.
“Daisy took such great care of my two cats! She was super punctual and consistent checking in on them each morning and I could tell by the playful photos that they enjoyed her company! It’s so nice to have someone you can trust look after your fur family when you’re away, Daisy is that person!”

“Renee was awesome. They gave great updates that made me feel very comfortable with being away from my kitty for a week, they made sure she took her meds, and they clearly have a lot of love for animals ! 5/5 Would recommend”

“My mind was put at ease and I felt like I could relax better while I was out of town for a long weekend. I really appreciated all of the cute photos and updates with each visit. Thanks to Ryan for being so patient, but persistent with my “scaredy-cat.” I’m glad he made a new friend :-)”

“Maggie took care of our cat for a six day period, and was very responsible and attentive in following through with the visits we had arranged. Maggie regularly sent us photos she took during the visits, which showed that our cat enjoyed and appreciated the play, kindness and care that she provided to our little guy. We plan to engage Maggie again soon for another set of visits.”

“This was my first time using Rover for my two cats, and I was a little nervous, but I definitely made the right choice hiring Amber. She was super communicative and flexible throughout the whole process and sent me an update and pictures of my babies everyday I was gone. They really seemed to take to her, too. She even brought in a package for me and offered to water my plants. So sweet! I’ll for sure hire her again in the future!”

About: Hi! I’m Brooke, a Delta Flight Attendant based in the St. Louis Park area. I make my own schedule and love to dog sit when I’m not traveling. My goal is to once again be a dog owner when my schedule allows for it. In the meantime, I have plenty of time to take care of yours! I know how important it is to feel confident in who you’re leaving your pet with. I have a very calm and relaxed persona and pups feel that calmness when they’re with me, even if they’re high-energy. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just some company, I tailor care to their personality, age, and health. Because of my schedule, I’m able to offer focused, unrushed time with your pet on my days off—perfect for walks, drop-ins, or sitting. I’m also great with last-minute bookings when plans change. You’ll always get updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. I’d love to meet you and your pup! As a 3-year flight attendant, I often work weekends, but I easily move my shifts around as I please. I’m traveling for 1-3 days at a time, then I’m home for a few days resting. Last minute changes to my schedule are the norm and don’t bother me one bit. Keeps life interesting! I have years of experience both house sitting and animal sitting in someone’s home. I do great with a checklist to ensure your home and fur babies stay as close to routine as possible in your absence. Safety is my #1 priority, and it’s important to me that you feel you have nothing to worry about while you’re gone. I’ll be communicative and responsive to make sure you and your pets all feel at ease.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Saint Louis Park
Our three boys, 2 cats and 1 bunny took instantly to Made. They greeted her at the door, followed her around, and enjoyed her pets and love. Maddy send us everyday updates and with pics, which were very appropriated. Maddy you are awesome. Thank you, for taking care of our fur babies.

Michaela was great. I was delayed 24 hrs from original return time due to widespread travel delays and she was very flexible with the situation and amenable to helping in any way she could. From pics and updates she sent I could tell my guys were content. She was very communicative and I really appreciated her positive attitude while I navigated airport purgatory.

I would absolutely recommend Eleanor to everyone! She went above and beyond for Bowser - even cleaned up some accidents he got while being anxious home alone. She made my trip so much more relaxed knowing that Bowser was in the best hands. Thanks so much Ellie!!!

We have had a wonderful experience with Everett. He followed all of my specific instructions carefully, he proved himself to be reliable, he was committed to every scheduled visit, and he gave my furry baby excellent care. He went above and beyond by even bringing my trash bin back to the garage while I was away. My dog absolutely loves him! He communicates well, and he displayed great patience and respectfulness when a small misunderstanding came up, and he handled everything with understanding and very professionally. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend his services to those seeking quality care!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
