About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been a dedicated dog owner for over 8 years. For the past 3 years, I’ve also fostered pups, giving me experience with a wide range of temperaments and styles. I’m comfortable with everything from high energy personalities to shy or anxious dogs. I’m comfortable with senior dogs (my last pup was 18!), puppies and everything in between. At this time, I’m focusing on small and medium sized dogs so they will be the best match for my own dogs and I can provide the best care possible. I work full time from home and am available to board in my house anytime for most lengths of time. Lots of time to play with your pup! Right now, I’m open to hosting small and medium pups—as they are the best matches for my own dogs. One of my little ones loves to go for walks (weather permitting) and we’d love for your pup to tag along! If the weather is bad, my yard is perfect for zoomies, ball/toy chasing, neighbor watching and basking in the sun. I have 2 of my own small pups (one that is a couch potato and the other loves to play, but isn’t pushy) and work from home so we are together all the time! We walk often—in the morning, at lunch and in evenings. I have a fenced in yard for potty breaks with lots of toys and enrichment. I am home most of the time, but would contain (kennel or pen if needed) when I leave and I’m also open to pups that aren’t kenneled but safe to leave out (I’d put away my own dogs).

“Kristen was great as we requested her assistance last minute. She was very communicative and loving towards our 2 cats. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking and will definitely use her again.”

“Our cats love Christy! She has taken care of them several times now - she is always conscientious, caring, a good communicator, and a true cat lover. We feel much more at ease knowing she is watching our cats. Highly recommend!”

“I’ve booked with Melody countless times now and my cats seem to have taken a liking to her. I really appreciate that she is always punctual even with a 7am drop in. She is very great at communicating throughout her visits even though I may not be available to answer right away. I’m always grateful that she is usually available for my last minute trips. I highly recommended and I will be booking with her in the future.”

About: Hello! My name is Andy, and I have many years of experience loving and taking care of all sorts of animals! Over the years, my family has had a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish, and bunnies—and we’ve also watched many, many more than that short-term. We are familiar with many types of animals and feel comfortable following your specific instructions for their care. I love animals of all kinds and will treat your pets lovingly with the care you expect and deserve. Spoiling your pet with a lot of love and personalized attention while keeping them safe and secure are my main goals as your pet sitter. I will be as active or relaxed as your dog needs- anything your dog requires for a safe and happy stay, I will gladly provide. I strive to always carefully follow your instructions. I am an animal advocate with extensive animal handlers and training experience. For many years, I have worked as an animal volunteer and foster parent for animals to be adopted. I have a soft spot for dogs of all kinds, and over the years have personally adopted spaniels, terriers, doodles, shepherds, and cats. I promise to treat your pet as if it is my own, play with it, give it tons of attention and love, and make sure it is fed and comfy while in my care. I have cared for my neighbors and friends pets for the past 30 years. I'm known by all as being a loving pet mom. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s) soon! I am available daily for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I have experience training dogs and working with rescued animals. Our family dogs are rescues and fosters, and they were trained and cared for by me. They are now certified therapy animals. Also, I feel comfortable giving medications and caring for older animals or those with special needs. I have experience working with animals that need extra attention or care due to a rough past or neglect. As their foster mom, my dogs are rescues that came from neglectful situations and had to be nursed back to health. Both have undergone amazing transformations and are happy, healthy, loving, and playful now. I’ve taken care of many very small dogs and understand their specific needs intimately, as my family owns a number of small pets—and I’ve taken care of larger dogs and understand their needs and likes too, as I’ve supervised the maturation and training of several larger dogs. Speaking of training—I’m confident with pets of any level of training! In fact, if anything I’m something of a good influence on untrained animals, owing to my experience training animals over the years. Pets, especially clever pets, love to get a command correct and get a treat for it! As far as more “exotic” pets, I’m comfortable with a lot! I think animals are fascinating and love to meet new ones—even in elementary school I was one of the kids who took care of our class animals, including our snakes (a rainbow boa and a constrictor), and our iguana (aptly named “Iggy”)—so I’m not afraid of interesting animal friends! I’ll gladly watch your peafowl or your domesticated fox or your ferret, and I’ll take care of it like it was my own. We would love to connect with you at a meet and greet or schedule a play date at a park to get to know you. I'm available every day of the week to walk, house sit, or drop-in on your pets. I enjoy playing with and photographing the animals I care for, giving treats, and reinforcing training. I all love animals and think of our pets as members of our family. We will treat your pet as if they are one of the family too, with much love, cuddles, and stimulating play! I am a photographer and used to work at a pet kennel, but recently moved, so I am available daily for any service you require. About: Hello, my name is Hanna! I live in Crystal, MN, and I’m a dedicated pet lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. I’ve done many overnight stays and house-sitting gigs for families who trust me to keep their pets happy, safe, and well-loved. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life, and I currently share my home with my sweet 7-year-old cat, Kanga, who I adore coming home to every day. My own 3-year-old Golden Aussie has megaesophagus, so I’m very experienced with managing chronic conditions, administering medications (pills, liquids, you name it), and following special feeding routines. I also cared for my parents Golden who had epilepsy his whole life, so special-needs pups are no problem, I’m patient, attentive, and always put their comfort first. I have a very flexible weekday schedule right now, so I’m available for drop-ins, walks, occasional boarding, or longer stays during the week. Weekends can be a bit unpredictable, but I’m happy to discuss what works best for you and your pet! I’d love the chance to meet you and your furry family. Feel free to message me to set up a free Meet & Greet. I can’t wait to help care for your pets like they’re my own! “Sue is a very kind and compassionate person. She took care of my senior dog Joey. I could tell Joey was very comfortable with her by seeing all the pictures of him and the many detailed texts that I received from Sue. Would use Sue again in a heartbeat!”

About: Hi! My name is Kendall, and I am a dependable animal lover who understands that pets are family. My services include: * Dog walking * Drop-in visits * Pet sitting * Feeding and fresh water * Playtime and enrichment * Basic medication administration (if needed) * Frequent photo and text updates Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine because I am organized, reliable, and intentional about managing my time. While I do work a full-time job, I carefully schedule pet care responsibilities around my work hours to ensure that every pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Before and after work, I am available for walks, feedings, drop-in visits, and quality one-on-one time with pets. On my days off and weekends, I have additional flexibility to accommodate longer visits, pet sitting needs, and extra playtime. At this time, I am not able to provide boarding services in my home. However, I am happy to offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting in your pet’s familiar environment, where they can remain comfortable and maintain their normal routine.
About: I was raised in a home always surrounded by cats and dogs. One of my favorite memories is hosting “spa days” for my grandparents’ four little dogs — Kat, Hope-So, No Doubt, and Gadget. I’d spend entire afternoons bathing them, brushing them, and even braiding their hair. Now as an adult, I still get to enjoy what I loved most as a kid — caring for my own pups. I’ve even started a small business called Cashery. Where I develop and bake handcrafted dog treats. As a dog mom of two rescue pitbulls, I am especially tentative to special requests. I held a lot of anxiety when I first introduced my dogs to the community. Unaware of their reactivity, friendliness and other behaviors. I want to ensure everyone regardless of breed, size or temperament, I am there 100%. I got to learn first hand how to adapt and care for specific personalities. Why are my rates so low? Because my heart has always been in animal care, I offer hands-on services in my community. I chose to keep my service rates intentionally low so I can support pet owners who truly need a financial break. I ask that these reduced rates be used on the honor system — reserved for those who genuinely need it and recognize their own ability to pay fairly when they can. P.S. I hope your animal(s) love treats! Wednesdays are dedicated for my services. As well as occasional weekends. My schedule is out typically one month ahead. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions outside of what’s listed under services and the schedule. Currently, I am not able to care for your pets in my home. This is something I look forward to expand in the near future!

“First time having pop in visits with my boys while on an overnight work trip and I’m so pleased w/ Kendra’s care and attention! I was concerned how they may react with a stranger coming in the home wo my being there and they acted like they knew her forever!! I popped in on pet cam and they were just snuggling into her! Even left a cute note and personalized treats!! Way better than boarding! Kendra will definitely be my go to when I need to leave the pups overnight!”

“Maddy stopped by my home, on time, for our first in-person meet & greet. The visit was short and to the point, within that short time Maddy showed the love and kindness she has for dogs, my dogs will be in good hands with Maddy.”

I enjoy long walks/hikes through parks and trails, and also have a fenced-in yard. Your fur-baby will get plenty of fresh air and exercise with me. I am creative, energetic, caring, and responsible, so I will meet all of your pet’s needs in a holistic and loving manner. Im a full-time student, taking online classes during the week, so I have a lot of free time and flexibility to care for your pets. Golden Valley dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kiah was just wonderful with my 5 month old puppy who has a major separation anxiety. She was very sweet and patient going on walks with him and playing with his toys as well as calming him down and making sure he is not nervous that I was gone for a few hours. I highly recommend Kiah! She is very nice and responsible, and great with the dogs :)

Alex has been an amazing sitter for me and my pup multiple times now. This past time in particular he went above and beyond in trying to get a hold of me when the door lock would not open. I greatly appreciate his commitment to make sure my pup was well taken care of. I will be booking him again with zero hesitation.
