About: Update: 1. We just bought a kiddie pool for dogs! If your pet gets over heated in the summer and enjoys water time, they can enjoy the dog pool in our backyard. (: We have a massive fenced in backyard for dogs and playtime for cats will be indoors. For dogs, we're happy to give them 4 walks a day and lots of playtime and fetch in the fenced-in backyard. For cats- we have a huge bay window overlooking a bird feeder so cats can soak in the sun and spend their time watching the birdies. We do not put any fur babies in crates unless you specifically ask us to (we do not own crates so you will have to provide one). This is not our full time job nor income, we're doing this because we LOVE animals so at our home, your pet will feel like its their vacation time! They'll have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to run around and be happy and comfortable! We also do not accept more than 1 booking at a time. 2 dogs from the same family are welcome but we don't accept multiple bookings from different households at the same time. We do not want our home to feel crowded and we do not want the dogs and cats to feel overwhelmed so you can always be assured that our house will feel like a mini stress free vacation for your pets! (: We will need you to provide everything your pet will need for their stay including food bowl, water bowl, toys/treats, food and most importantly- medications if needed. For Doggy day care: if we are doing doggy day care, we will only be taking one dog at a time, or 2 dogs from the same family. We want to ensure that the pet has a fun time while away from their fav human for a few hours, and simultaneously we want to have stress free work days (: Thank you! I grew up with mostly Norwegian Elkhounds but had one Carin terrier find his way to my family. Currently I have 1 Norwegian Elkhound named Bear who is about 6 years old and my best friend. About: I've had dogs almost my entire life and have been taking care of the dogs of friends and family for the past 11 years. This ranges from absolute cuddle bug Yorkies to energetic labs. I work from 6-3:30 Sunday through Thursday, but making sure that the animals in my care have a regular schedule as best fits around that is key. First thing in the morning I'd be making sure the animals in my care have access to food and water and taken outside to do their business as applicable. Once I get home I recheck food and water needs and take care of their play and exercise needs. I have a fenced in yard and depending on the animal's needs, they can be crated or allowed to roam around the house. About: Dogs have always been apart of my life, as I always had a dog growing up and at one point owned 5 dogs. To me having 5 dogs is no different than having 1, as long as you have enough love to go around. All they want to do is love you and make you happy, so how can you not love them in return.
