Judy followed the meal plan & even took him to Mcdonalds (at my request) so he could have some French ? Fries! He LOVES their fries! Judy would send a picture of Jackson each day & I really enjoyed seeing his smiling face. Judy also has a big back yard for "doggie exercise" There were no issues or concerns whatsoever. When I came back from my vacation, my Jackson was in good health & was wagging his tail. Judy is great. I will definitely ? use her in the future. One word of warning...her schedule fills up FAST! About: I grew up with dogs, and miss them dearly in my life! Friends, neighbors and family have relied on me for years to take care of their pets: while away traveling, or in hardships. From closely monitoring my friend's cat after surgery when she couldn't call off work, to weeklong stays in family homes with rambunctious puppies, I've done it all. I've always had a passion for animals, including exotic pet care! I have personally kept a freshwater aquarium and understand that fish and reptile care is much more detailed and intensive than many may first assume. You can rest easy knowing your pets will be in good hands, and will be given the detailed care and attention they deserve. I'm currently in recovery from a chronic pain condition. This gives me incredible flexibility to take on care at any time, and give your pets the attention they deserve! Depending on my health, my availabily may fluctuate, but now that I'm finally on the upswing I'm ready to be active and my abilites will only increase in the coming months! I am currently not offering care through my own home, but I am happy to provide check ins on many varieties of pets! I adore reptiles and exotic pets, and will happily feed, administer care, and help wear them out by playing inside, in the yard, or walking the nearby area.

We could fully relax knowing that Turkey was happy and enjoying herself while we were away. Izzy went far beyond any expectations we could have had. Since Turkey is a hairless cat, Izzy had to put on and take off her sweatshirts daily and carefully determine whether the weather was appropriate for walks and outdoor time — which can be tricky given Turkey’s lack of fur and grumpiness! Turkey’s ears also require regular cleaning because they collect wax easily, and Izzy helped us tremendously with that as well. Throughout our trip, we received photos and updates from Izzy, which gave us so much peace of mind. We would recommend Izzy to any family looking for someone who will give special attention, care, and love to their beloved family member. We were away for 9 days, which was the longest we have ever been apart from Turkey. When we returned home, we were amazed by how happy and comfortable Turkey was, and by how consistently Izzy maintained Turkey’s feeding schedule. Most importantly, Izzy is truly a gem of a person. Her calm, easygoing, yet detail-oriented character made our time away completely worthwhile. We will absolutely continue requesting Izzy’s care moving forward!”

About: I have experience with small and medium sized dogs. I grew up with a family Peekapoo. I also volunteered at the Animal Humane Society where I was trained in using Gentle Leaders on larger dogs. My schedule is very flexible. I work part time and remotely so I have plenty of availability to give your pet the attention they deserve! I start my cat fosters in the bathroom until they are ready to explore the apartment. I will use a similar approach with any cats who stay in my home. When visiting pets in their home I usually start with feeding and then stay for pets and play when they finish their meal.

I also had the amazing joy of raising a Boston Terrier to the blessed old age of 15. I helped train him as a puppy and in new ways once he lost his hearing and had memory loss in his senior years. About: I've had dogs almost my entire life and have been taking care of the dogs of friends and family for the past 11 years. This ranges from absolute cuddle bug Yorkies to energetic labs. I work from 6-3:30 Sunday through Thursday, but making sure that the animals in my care have a regular schedule as best fits around that is key. First thing in the morning I'd be making sure the animals in my care have access to food and water and taken outside to do their business as applicable. Once I get home I recheck food and water needs and take care of their play and exercise needs. I have a fenced in yard and depending on the animal's needs, they can be crated or allowed to roam around the house. The specifics may vary depending on the type of pet and the owner's preferences or special instructions.

“Renae and her family were great. My dog Blue stayed with them for 6 days while I was in Europe. Renae was extremely responsive and sent photo updates of my dog almost every day! And even when Blue had separation anxiety and didn’t want to eat her food, they went out of their way to add little treats on her food to entice her to eat. They played with her and walked her, and snuggled on the couch. Blue had a great time and we would definitely book Renae again.”
