“Jordan did a great job of caring for our senior dog for 3 nights at his home. His communication was prompt and he provided daily photos and updates. Jordan also has a very lovely fenced in back yard with tennis balls ready to toss. Also, he had water already set up for our dog before we even arrived. We will book with Jordan again.”

“Valerie and family took great care of Hobie my dog. I've boarded him at two places that are kennel type over night with multiple dogs. He loves other dogs but he always came home stressed and once with kennel cough. Those stays it took him about two weeks to get back to normal. With his stay at Valerie's with only him he came home happy and healthy. Valerie communicated with me and sent pictures while he was at her house with her family. I highly recommend her!”

“Loki had a great time with Daisy. I got pictures and updates daily and it looked like he was having fun with the other dogs she was boarding, and playing fetch. Daisy was flexible with dropoff and pickup times providing a little extra peace of mind in case of flight delays getting back.”

“Winnie had another great stay with Kiirsten! We always know she is in good hands with her, and gets to have a ball running around a big backyard and playing with her kids. Thank you, Kiirsten!”

“Jon and Jessie were so great with high energy Eddie! Eddie loved the fenced in yard, walks, play time and of course, Kirby. We appreciate how they made the time special for her. Thank you!”

“Kyle did a great job taking care of our dog. Archer has some special needs and Kyle was great at accommodating. He also gave me timely updates while I was away as to how Archer was doing settling in on his first time there. We already have him booked for our next trip and feel confident it will also be a good experience.”

“Susan provided us amazing daily recaps of how our dog was spending her day at “camp”, it sounded like she was having so much fun we weren’t sure our dog would want us to come pick her up. But truly, you can tell that Susan really puts her whole heart into caring for dogs and she loves having furry friends in her home. Next time we need a sitter, we’ll definitely check her availability!”

“Kiersa is very easy to work with, responds very quickly to messages and is very pleasant and professional! Benelli seems to really like her, glad the initial visit went so well, will definitely book again!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Shreya. She boarded our dog for a full week and treated him like family. She was attentive, patient, and very communicative, sending frequent updates and photos. Our dog came back relaxed and happy, which says everything. It’s clear she genuinely loves dogs. We will definitely use her services again and strongly recommend her.”

“Our dog had another great stay with Sue and Craig! It's obvious that they appreciate our dog's personality and that makes us know they give her lots of love and attention.”

“Sandy took great care of my pup Lena and I appreciated her updates. She even took her to her favorite indoor dog park so she could keep playing with her friends while we were on vacation.”

“Thanks to Howie and Betsy for Fanya's stay last week. I was looking for a family who watches one dog at a time as Fanya is gentle, and can be uncomfortable with several dogs at one time. Howie sent updates and photos at the end of each day (Fanya was there for 5 nights). I feel very comfortable letting Fanya stay with Howie and his family in the future.”

“I had a wonderful experience leaving my Australian Shepard with Amy over Thanksgiving week. Our dog got a lot of activity and attention while in her care. She has a great backyard set-up and is awesome with communication throughout the whole process. Thank you Amy!”

“Annalise and Chris took great care of Maple! Their experience with fostering dogs really put me at ease while I was out of town. She sent updates each day where I could tell Maple was having a fun time. I’m grateful Maple was able to find a home away from home for when I’m traveling.”

About: I've been caring for others pets since I was 10yo. Prissy & Ginger (a Boston Terrier & a Pug) were my first loves as I would walk my neighbors dogs for companionship when I could not have my own. As an adult, I still pet-sit for friends, most frequently a 5yo Tamaskan when his owner travels. I was a part-time vet-tech in college and work in a (human) clinic as an adult, so I understand special needs, different medications, and the roll of compassion for all conditions. I work out of the home all week, so can accomodate unique schedule needs. My home has 3 areas that a pet can be isolated from others, if needed. I also have a large (unfenced) yard for endless roaming and sniffing, and a 2nd story deck overlooking my back acre for fun and safe wildlife viewing for leisurely sunny afternoons. I'm around my home most times while I work out of the home. Unique schedules can be easily managed, and special dietary or medical needs tended to. In boarding other peoples pets, I do my best to keep their usual routine to maximize their comfort and minimize stress while mom/dad are away. I have several spaces that can be closed off for isolation if needed for care, sleeping or feeding separately, or they can have the whole house to roam, if that is their preference. I have 2 leashes/tethers (40' or 20') to explore the yard and a box full of toys for chewing, pulling, fetching as needed - or bring your own favorite toys, we'll play with those!
“Ashley took such good care of our fur baby ❤️ She kept us updated throughout the stay and sent us pictures every time she could. Don’t hesitate to book with her and her family, they love animals and take good care of them. Such a great family! We will book again when needed, thank you! ❤️”

About: If you’re looking for someone dependable to drop in on your pup or take them out for some fresh air and exercise, I am here to help! Working from home gives me the unique ability to step away and dedicate my full attention to walking, check-in services, and boarding for your furry family members. Dogs have been the center of my family's world since we got our first puppy 25 years ago. After our beloved 14-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback passed away in January 2026, we realized just how much we missed the routine of caring for a dog. I love interacting with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Through fostering numerous puppies, I have mastered the art of leash training and high-energy play. Furthermore, because our own dog was deaf and lived to a ripe old age, we are uniquely equipped to provide gentle, specialized care for elderly or disabled dogs during drop-ins, walks, and some boarding. I promise to bring peace of mind with plenty of updates and love! Working from home full-time Monday through Friday gives me incredible flexibility throughout the week. Because my desk is just a few steps away, I am able to seamlessly structure my day around your dog's needs—taking regular, dedicated breaks to provide refreshing neighborhood walks, interactive playtime, and frequent outdoor potty rests. Your pup will enjoy consistent companionship and routine care without me ever having to leave the house for an office commute. I live in a rambler with a walk-out basement and a large yard. We live near a couple of parks, and I love taking the dogs for walks.
Wayzata pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sara and her husband were fabulous!! My dog has a lot of anxieties, and Sara made sure we had a couple of meet and greets before leaving him. She has a calming manner that made my dog feel calm and secure. I came home to a happy, and well cared for dog. Thank you!!! She sent pictures and kept us updated.
She is amazing!! If you want your pooch to have extra special care, Highly recommend. Her son also helped and we received several Awesome Photos of our pup while we were away for 8 days. Also wanted to send a huge thank You for being flexible with pick up. Our flight changed and Lisa accommodated without issue!!

Darby LOVED Courtney! She was a pleasure to communicate with, easy to figure out details, and sent a ton of photos and feedback while he was there. He truly not only was treated like he was at home, he felt like it! We will definitely be rebooking with Courtney when we need to and are so thankful that there are no worries whatsoever in having Darby stay with her. HIGHLY recommend!
