Flex schedule. Escape Proof yard

I am a foster Mom for rescue dogs. I've also successfully trained a service dog for Helping Paws. Dog sitting is a way for me to socialize pets while helping out fellow dog lovers. I offer pick up and delivery service as well as airport runs for clients as a convenience for folks who live nearby. My home is conveniently located off of 394 and 494. The fenced in back yard is escape proof (rescue dog tested) and I have gates in the house to keep dogs from escaping through open doors. Safety is a priority. I retired from corporate life a few years ago and found my new passion is caring for pets. My husband is also a big help! PS. No Pit Bull's or Chihuahua's please

Kath was fantastic for our little guy. He was very well cared for and had a fabulous time. As a family that is new to Rover, she made the experience super positive and we felt at ease with being away.

Doggy Day Care • Dec 30, 2025

Kath and her husband, Jim watched my just shy of 3-month-old Silver Lab puppy, Miss Ivy Jane, today, and she was wonderfully cared for! They have trained service dogs in the past, so I already knew Ivy would be in excellent hands—and they absolutely delivered. Kath stayed in touch with me throughout the day, which gave me so much comfort and reassurance knowing my baby was safe. She was timely, accommodating, and genuinely attentive to all of Ivy’s needs. I would highly recommend Kath and Jim to anyone looking for trustworthy, experienced, and compassionate puppy care. We will definitely be back again! Thank you, Kath and Jim, for your help today—you made my life so much easier and allowed me to enjoy my day with total peace of mind. It means everything to have a family we can trust with our fur baby!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced yard and doggy door that most dogs learn how to use very quickly. Making sure dogs are compatible with each other is a priority. Slow introductions are managed by having dogs meet in a neutral space and then we go for a walk so the dogs get used to each other before entering the house for more socializing.

A typical day

I usually walk around the block. It's a one mile loop that can be expanded to two or three miles. We also play ball or frisbee in the back yard, depending on exercise needs of the dog.
