About: Caring for animals has always been more than a job or a hobby for me—it's part of who I am. I truly believe I was put on this earth to love and care for animals, and every pet that enters my home is treated like a member of my family. I was fortunate to have a Cavalier King Charles and a Cavapoo for a total of 17 years combined. They were my entire life and I took them to as many places together and made them a big part of my life. I miss them everyday. When a pet stays with me, I make it my priority to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether that means walks, playtime, cuddle sessions on the couch, administering medications, or simply providing a calm, loving environment, I pay close attention to each pet's unique personality and needs. I know how important consistency, patience, and affection are, especially when they're away from the people they love most. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. I take the trust that owners place in me very seriously, and I care for every dog as if they were my own—with kindness, respect, plenty of love, and lots of belly rubs (if they enjoy them!). Whether that means hand-feeding a pet who needs a little extra encouragement, helping a senior dog safely get up onto the bed or couch, following specific dietary instructions, or simply giving them extra patience and reassurance, I’m happy to provide the thoughtful care they need. On hot days, I make sure pets have plenty of fresh water, stay cool and comfortable, and avoid spending too much time outside in the heat. Most of all, I want your pet to feel at home. We can go for walks, play, relax, snuggle on the couch, or enjoy a cozy evening watching TV together. I’ll take the time to get to know what makes your pet happy and comfortable because every animal is different—and every one deserves to feel safe, loved, and included. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away and to make sure your pet feels like they are staying with someone who genuinely cares for them as deeply as you do. Leza is an excellent pet sitter. We booked very last minute, she was very accommodating. She was very friendly and communication was quick. Juniper was well taken care of. We thoroughly enjoyed getting pictures and updates as it was our first time leaving our puppy. I’d recommend Leza and definitely use her service again.
