“I took a "mini" vacation to Florida a couple weeks ago. My Havenees Poodle mix "Jackson" bonded with Judy immediately. All he wanted to do was be around her & beg for attention & belly scratches. Judy followed the meal plan & even took him to Mcdonalds (at my request) so he could have some French ? Fries! He LOVES their fries! Judy would send a picture of Jackson each day & I really enjoyed seeing his smiling face. Judy also has a big back yard for "doggie exercise" There were no issues or concerns whatsoever. When I came back from my vacation, my Jackson was in good health & was wagging his tail. Judy is great. I will definitely ? use her in the future. One word of warning...her schedule fills up FAST! I give Judy 5 out of 5 stars.”
“Maria is simply the best! She took care of our two big boys while we were out of the country for 2 weeks. She sent updates and photos, and reassured us along the way that they were happy and content. She is selective in who she watches, making sure to do a meet and greet and evaluate how each one interacts with others. We had no worries when she had other dogs staying there as well. Our guys were happy to see us when we picked them up, but they also looked content and were snuggly with Maria. You could tell that they had developed a good relationship with her. Maria will be the first one we ask if we need dog sitting in the future.”

About: Hi! I really love being around dogs as I have grown up with four dogs since I was a kid! They have been my best friends my entire life and I wouldn't have traded away a single moment with them. I am experienced in taking care of dogs and love to be around them and play! Not everyone understands how much effort goes into taking care of your best friend but I do! My family currently fosters and looks after dogs which encouraged me to do something similar. About: I have had dogs since I was a child. My first dog of my own I had for 15 years until she passed. Have raised dogs from puppy to senior. When with me pets are treated like family. Have done drop in care for friends cats although I have not had cats of my own. Currently work full time but have availability to stop home for lunch breaks to take pets out. Evenings/weekends are full of time at home in the yard/garden and burning my pups energy. I have a fully fenced yard. One energetic pup that would love friends to play with. Can kennel if necessary. Pets are allowed on furniture.

“Words cannot describe how thankful we are for Izzy. We were able to truly enjoy our vacation knowing that Turkey was being so well cared for. We could fully relax knowing that Turkey was happy and enjoying herself while we were away. Izzy went far beyond any expectations we could have had. Since Turkey is a hairless cat, Izzy had to put on and take off her sweatshirts daily and carefully determine whether the weather was appropriate for walks and outdoor time — which can be tricky given Turkey’s lack of fur and grumpiness! Turkey’s ears also require regular cleaning because they collect wax easily, and Izzy helped us tremendously with that as well. Throughout our trip, we received photos and updates from Izzy, which gave us so much peace of mind. We would recommend Izzy to any family looking for someone who will give special attention, care, and love to their beloved family member. We were away for 9 days, which was the longest we have ever been apart from Turkey. When we returned home, we were amazed by how happy and comfortable Turkey was, and by how consistently Izzy maintained Turkey’s feeding schedule. Most importantly, Izzy is truly a gem of a person. Her calm, easygoing, yet detail-oriented character made our time away completely worthwhile. We will absolutely continue requesting Izzy’s care moving forward!”

About: Dogs have always been apart of my life, as I always had a dog growing up and at one point owned 5 dogs. To me having 5 dogs is no different than having 1, as long as you have enough love to go around. All they want to do is love you and make you happy, so how can you not love them in return. About: I love dogs and recently had to say goodbye to my beloved Lab mix, Bear. I’m not ready to bring a new dog into the family yet, but I’m eager to get to know and care for your beloved furry family members! I grew up with a Dalmatian named Pal, a Heinz 57 called Skipper, and have loved many other dogs along the way, including Maddy, Blu, Mercedes, Birdie, and Moomin. I’m currently working part-time and eager to fill some time meeting, playing with, and caring for your beloved pets so you have peace of mind. I’ll come to you and check in with your dog(s), allow them to relieve themselves, take them for a walk, ensure their water bowl is full and give them some loving attention when you can’t be there.
About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.
About: I love being around dogs and treat them as family, as they should be! I currently have 3 fur babies, two back labs who are brother and sister and a pitbull. They are my world and I will treat your dogs as such as well. Every dog deserves love and cuddles! I've worked with puppies through senior dogs and understand that every pup has its own personality and needs. I have experience giving medication as my girl receives daily meds for her Addisons. I love being active with dogs whether that's playing catch in the backyard, tug-o-war or going on long walks. I can't wait to meet your dog! I currently work from home so if I'm staying at your place of residence for an extended stay your family member will receive all the attention needed during the days. I have experience crating dogs if needed while I stay at your home. Because I work remotely I'll be able to play with and walk your pet throughout the day.

Our dog initially was a little anxious and nervous. Brenda and Alvin gave her space and time to adjust but also coaxed her out of her crate and gave her attention, play time and walks. They also kept me informed twice a day with reports and pictures to let me know how Wednesday was doing. I can’t thank them enough or praise them enough for their wonderful care of our dear little girl!”
