We could fully relax knowing that Turkey was happy and enjoying herself while we were away. Izzy went far beyond any expectations we could have had. Since Turkey is a hairless cat, Izzy had to put on and take off her sweatshirts daily and carefully determine whether the weather was appropriate for walks and outdoor time — which can be tricky given Turkey’s lack of fur and grumpiness! Turkey’s ears also require regular cleaning because they collect wax easily, and Izzy helped us tremendously with that as well. Throughout our trip, we received photos and updates from Izzy, which gave us so much peace of mind. We would recommend Izzy to any family looking for someone who will give special attention, care, and love to their beloved family member. We were away for 9 days, which was the longest we have ever been apart from Turkey. When we returned home, we were amazed by how happy and comfortable Turkey was, and by how consistently Izzy maintained Turkey’s feeding schedule. Most importantly, Izzy is truly a gem of a person. Her calm, easygoing, yet detail-oriented character made our time away completely worthwhile. We will absolutely continue requesting Izzy’s care moving forward!”

From closely monitoring my friend's cat after surgery when she couldn't call off work, to weeklong stays in family homes with rambunctious puppies, I've done it all. About: I have always loved and cared for animals in general. I grew up with a Puggle who I passed at 18yrs old (2021), and we added a Pomeranian/Pekingese babe to our family in 2013. I grew up scared of cats, but I have my own now! His name is Panda and he’s 6 now! I taught him how to sit and lay down like a dog. He’s quite stubborn (like a lot of cats), but we practiced definitely made perfect. I’m also a proud doggy godmother to my best friend’s Boxer/Mastiff, Nova. I’m that person who will stop in the middle of the road, get out to direct traffic for a family of ducks to cross. I’ve had to pullover to help dogs find they’re home again. I’m my family’s and friend’s go-to for animal sitting (and human sitting). They rely on my extremely high level of patience and love towards animals, and they also appreciate how stern I am when they misbehave. I’ve got your pet’s back and yours! About: Dogs have been part of my life forever, from growing up with a variety of breeds and sizes in my family to now caring for my own rescue yellow lab. I love caring for dogs at all ages, whether it's puppies full of energy or senior dogs who need extra TLC. I handle walks, potty breaks, feeding, brushing, baths, giving medication (pill form) and both indoor and outdoor stimulation activities. I've completed obedience 1 training and enjoy practicing commands like name recognition, sit, stay, lay down, drop it, leave it, and leash walking. I can lift 60lbs if needed and make sure every dog feels loved, entertained, and truly at home while their humans are away. Friends and family always ask me to watch their dogs because they know I'll give them love, attention, and safe, happy care - and I'm excited to extend that same care to more dogs and their family in my community through Rover. *Please note that I will require for my dog to come with me for any stays - she is an 8 year old yellow lab that is very laid back and gets along with all dogs. I am more than happy to set up a meet and greet with her in advance* I work remotely full-time which provides an abundance of flexibility to attentively care for dogs during the day and evenings. My schedule includes Zoom call meetings and phone calls that are sporadic during each day - no two days are the same. I have extensive experience with kitties, and have owned my 2 pups for just about 2 years now! I also have 2 kitties who we have had since kittens, who are 9 and 6 years old. Our pets are regarded as part of our family, and I am excited to make yours feel at home as well! I gladly offer potty and play breaks in our large fenced in back yard and lots of enrichment activities, from lick pads to puzzle toys. Please reach out if you have any questions! I work from home on Fridays, but otherwise that means that I am out of the house from 8 am to 4:30 pm. I do require a supervised overnight visit before I can allow pets to stay over while I am at work, but are happy to host your pets while I am away for the day, and can work with you to figure out a plan that works with my WFH schedule if you'd like as well! I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly, active pups. My kitties are also super friendly and welcoming, though less interested in playing than the dogs. I have the ability to set up separate areas of our home as well, and regularly allow the dogs outside to play. They have 24/7 access to water and I am able to adjust to any feeding schedule or medication needs!

I have a 5 year old dog who is very friendly I have full availability for dog walking, I’m home house sitting, and drop in visits if you are away. I love all types of dogs. I am very friendly with all types and sized dogs. I always have treats at the ready and toys with me for a great time. I take long walks regularly and would love for your dog to come with me!
About: I love pets so much! I have two cats, Tommy and Rosie, and they’re the sweetest. I have been a preschool teacher and a house cleaner, so I’m not afraid of cleaning up any messes or accidents that may happen. I’m trustworthy and reliable because of those job experiences; my favorite part of cleaning houses was getting to know people’s pets! I also love creating a connection with pet parents. If I’m coming into your home, you and your pets become a part of my family. I’m also an actor, so if you ever want to know about shows that are happening, I’m a very good resource! It’s my goal to make sure your pets feel loved and nurtured even when you’re not at home. I create my own schedule, so I can be pretty flexible when I need to be. Mornings are my most available time, so let’s talk! I’ll follow any notes and instructions you give me, and if there’s anything I cannot do, I’ll let you know so we can work on a solution together. There may be some things I’m inexperienced in when looking after dogs(giving medication, etc) but if you show me what to do, I’m a fast learner!

About: Countless friends and family have asked me to watch their pets while they're out of town especially last minute. I respect and care about each pet, trying to make them as happy and comfortable as possible. I work remotely a few days per week and available on weekends. Schedule can be flexible depending on service. Also tend to be available on holidays. When I visit a client's home, I keep it the same as when I came in. I respect and keep their home clean and try to have the pets as comfortable as possible.
About: Dogs have always been apart of my life, as I always had a dog growing up and at one point owned 5 dogs. To me having 5 dogs is no different than having 1, as long as you have enough love to go around. All they want to do is love you and make you happy, so how can you not love them in return. I have 3 dogs of my own right now and enjoy spending time with them. I probably spoil them as they know when I come home with bags that there is more than likely a treat or toy for them. About: I love being around dogs and treat them as family, as they should be! I currently have 3 fur babies, two back labs who are brother and sister and a pitbull. About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.
About: I’ve taken in many animals in need and got them supplies and environments they needed. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, bearded dragons, sugar gliders, turtles, and snakes in my past. I currently have two cats and one dog. I work from home so I can make some times others can’t due to working out of the home. I’m not always busy on the weekends and can help take care of your fur/non fur babies. Water, walks, bathroom needs, feeding, and some medicine applications. I like to give lots of cuddles to animas who want it and I typically leave shy animas alone unless I am approached. Always start with hand sniffs before applying pets.
