About: I grew up with dogs, and miss them dearly in my life! Friends, neighbors and family have relied on me for years to take care of their pets: while away traveling, or in hardships. From closely monitoring my friend's cat after surgery when she couldn't call off work, to weeklong stays in family homes with rambunctious puppies, I've done it all. I've always had a passion for animals, including exotic pet care! I have personally kept a freshwater aquarium and understand that fish and reptile care is much more detailed and intensive than many may first assume. You can rest easy knowing your pets will be in good hands, and will be given the detailed care and attention they deserve. I'm currently in recovery from a chronic pain condition. This gives me incredible flexibility to take on care at any time, and give your pets the attention they deserve! Depending on my health, my availabily may fluctuate, but now that I'm finally on the upswing I'm ready to be active and my abilites will only increase in the coming months! “Words cannot describe how thankful we are for Izzy. We were able to truly enjoy our vacation knowing that Turkey was being so well cared for. We could fully relax knowing that Turkey was happy and enjoying herself while we were away. Izzy went far beyond any expectations we could have had. Since Turkey is a hairless cat, Izzy had to put on and take off her sweatshirts daily and carefully determine whether the weather was appropriate for walks and outdoor time — which can be tricky given Turkey’s lack of fur and grumpiness! Turkey’s ears also require regular cleaning because they collect wax easily, and Izzy helped us tremendously with that as well. Throughout our trip, we received photos and updates from Izzy, which gave us so much peace of mind. We would recommend Izzy to any family looking for someone who will give special attention, care, and love to their beloved family member. We were away for 9 days, which was the longest we have ever been apart from Turkey. When we returned home, we were amazed by how happy and comfortable Turkey was, and by how consistently Izzy maintained Turkey’s feeding schedule. Most importantly, Izzy is truly a gem of a person. Her calm, easygoing, yet detail-oriented character made our time away completely worthwhile. We will absolutely continue requesting Izzy’s care moving forward!”

“If you are reading this review you may have some apprehension trying to find a responsible, dependable and caring person to watch over your treasured furry friends. Look no further! Jennifer is an absolute gem! She was an incredible caretaker to our two young cats while my family took a weeklong trip to the Bahamas. We were quite nervous as this had been the longest we had been away from them and we had had a poor experience prior with a sitter over a long weekend a couple months earlier. Jennifer was the complete opposite of our previous sitter! She went above and beyond! She sent several videos and pictures each day, which put our mind at ease. We could see how much she played with the cats and we could see they were still up to their funny shenanigans. We felt relieved to see that the cats looked happy and were well cared for. Jennifer sent daily texts to keep us updated and even communicated concerns like some ice forming on our front walkway and asked if she would like us to salt it. She took our garbage and recycling out and brought it back in. She did so much without even being asked. Jennifer is the sweetest, most caring sitter you could ask for. About: Hi! I really love being around dogs as I have grown up with four dogs since I was a kid! I also had the amazing joy of raising a Boston Terrier to the blessed old age of 15. I helped train him as a puppy and in new ways once he lost his hearing and had memory loss in his senior years. About: Update: 1. We just bought a kiddie pool for dogs! If your pet gets over heated in the summer and enjoys water time, they can enjoy the dog pool in our backyard. (: Update 2: We are fully booked for Nov, and most of Sept and Dec. We have a few dates available for Oct. Apologies for the limited availability for the rest of this year. Thank you! We have a massive fenced in backyard for dogs and playtime for cats will be indoors. For dogs, we're happy to give them 4 walks a day and lots of playtime and fetch in the fenced-in backyard. For cats- we have a huge bay window overlooking a bird feeder so cats can soak in the sun and spend their time watching the birdies. We do not put any fur babies in crates unless you specifically ask us to (we do not own crates so you will have to provide one). This is not our full time job nor income, we're doing this because we LOVE animals so at our home, your pet will feel like its their vacation time! They'll have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to run around and be happy and comfortable! We also do not accept more than 1 booking at a time. 2 dogs from the same family are welcome but we don't accept multiple bookings from different households at the same time. We do not want our home to feel crowded and we do not want the dogs and cats to feel overwhelmed so you can always be assured that our house will feel like a mini stress free vacation for your pets! (: We will need you to provide everything your pet will need for their stay including food bowl, water bowl, toys/treats, food and most importantly- medications if needed. For Doggy day care: if we are doing doggy day care, we will only be taking one dog at a time, or 2 dogs from the same family. We want to ensure that the pet has a fun time while away from their fav human for a few hours, and simultaneously we want to have stress free work days (: Thank you! (: We work from home full time so we are available for walks, and playtime in the fenced-in backyard. We also love dogs and cats so they're welcome to join us in our bed for all naps! I work from 6-3:30 Sunday through Thursday, but making sure that the animals in my care have a regular schedule as best fits around that is key. I grew up with mostly Norwegian Elkhounds but had one Carin terrier find his way to my family. Currently I have 1 Norwegian Elkhound named Bear who is about 6 years old and my best friend. About: Dogs have always been apart of my life, as I always had a dog growing up and at one point owned 5 dogs. To me having 5 dogs is no different than having 1, as long as you have enough love to go around. All they want to do is love you and make you happy, so how can you not love them in return. About: I love being around dogs and treat them as family, as they should be! I currently have 3 fur babies, two back labs who are brother and sister and a pitbull. They are my world and I will treat your dogs as such as well. Every dog deserves love and cuddles! I've worked with puppies through senior dogs and understand that every pup has its own personality and needs. I have experience giving medication as my girl receives daily meds for her Addisons. I love being active with dogs whether that's playing catch in the backyard, tug-o-war or going on long walks. I can't wait to meet your dog! I currently work from home so if I'm staying at your place of residence for an extended stay your family member will receive all the attention needed during the days. I have experience crating dogs if needed while I stay at your home. Because I work remotely I'll be able to play with and walk your pet throughout the day.

“Our dogs had the best time staying with Aastha and Daniel! We received multiple photos and updates daily and I was totally at ease knowing they were getting plenty of exercise and attention. My dogs have never been exposed to cats so I wasn't sure how boarding them in a home with cats would go. But their home was so well equipped to keep the cats separated. They have a big beautiful sun room in the back of their home that can be closed off as well as a lower level that can be closed off. They also have a large fenced in backyard where my pups thoroughly enjoyed playing fetch during Daniel and Aastha's work breaks. The best part was knowing that Daniel and Aastha mostly work from home. Our dogs are used to people being around so this was a huge bonus! Our younger dog can have some anxious tendencies that affect her eating and her GI and she had no issues during our 5 day trip. We will definitely book them again and cannot recommend them enough!”
