“Emily has been surrounded by pets her entire life. She has also showed them love and compassion, even to her pet rat that had a tumor removed. As a parent surgery on a rat was teaching responsibility for loving and caring for an animal. She has an amazing sense of understanding animals non-verbal communication. Emily’s pets are family members! Emily is also a timely person, and respectful of all things. I highly recommend Emily as a person to show pets love and compassion while in her care.”

“My two dogs are my kids and I am very picky who watches my babies so leaving them with just anyone is difficult. My husband and I don’t leave our dogs often but at times we’ve needed to go to parties and appointments that are longer than a few hours so we had to find someone to watch our babies. We have a special needs dog that wears diapers and has medications so I was apprehensive that someone would care as much as we do. I can say after our first meeting with Logan my nerves were put at ease. She knew exactly how to introduce herself to our dogs and was very caring. After talking for a while I realized she not only loved her dogs like I love mine but she has a huge heart for all dogs. My two took to her immediately! I am one that believes dogs are the best judge of character and they loved her. She talked to them just like I do even upon the first meeting! I told her my special needs dogs need and she had zero worries about doing exactly what needed to be done. I am an owner who strongly believes in leashes when being let out and she assured me the dogs would be leashes on the inside of the house then the door would be opened so they don’t run off being at a new house. Her home is dog safe and very clean! Oh and dogs at her house are allowed on the couch if they are allowed at your house. I told her she could kennel my diaper boy if she chose to but she didn’t see a need during their stay except at night which is what he prefers. Logan has now watched our dogs numerous times and when I asked them if they want to go to Logan’s they get so excited! She is watching them again in a few weeks and I couldn’t be more relaxed to leave them with her and enjoy my time away! Overnight stays my one prefers his kennel and the other prefers the bed with her which was no issue. We all love Logan and are so thankful she provides this service to us!”

I currently live with my parents, who love animals, so there will be extra eyes and extra love in my house! Throughout college, I was known as the responsible, “mom” friend and was trusted by many of my friends and their friends to watch over their pets. I have a whole arsenal of pet care experience; I’ve seen it all! From taking care of dogs, cats, birds, you can count on me to see to each of your pets’ needs. I also used to work as a CNA so any health-related concerns are no stranger to me. I’ve given oral and injection medications for pets, and won’t back down from any health issues your pet may have. I have a special soft spot for senior pets, especially having worked and currently volunteering with senior humans, I find a lot of joy in being the caring and attentive presence in any senior’s life (furry or human!). When I own my first pet, I want to adopt a senior specifically and give them the love and care they deserve as much as any other furry friend. Just so you know a little more about who your pet is hanging out with, here’s some more info about me! I'm very involved in my community, and I feel most fulfilled when I can make people’s lives easier. I volunteer every week with Help At Your Door, an organization dedicated to helping seniors live healthy and independent lives, by grocery shopping, delivering groceries, and offering free rides. I am committed to an active lifestyle, which has led me to a new passion of pilates! When I’m not doing those activities, you can find me reading a good book, trying out new restaurants in town (I’m a Yelp Elite member!), and thrifting, among many other things. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I currently work remotely full time, so my availability is very flexible to attend to your furry companions! My dog was rescued when she was 2 and since she came from an abusive household, she had many quirks and takes a while to trust people. Because of this, I have had experience caring for a high maintenance dog; Izzy has no teeth and requires a special diet, had a regular schedule to go to the bathroom, anxious attachment, and has different joint issues that need tending to. I know how much patience and care is needed to create a trusting relationship with animals, and it’s my priority to be able to provide that for your pet! I have a large, fenced backyard where your pet can explore and roam. My dog has trouble reaching higher surfaces like the couch so we have lots of accessibility accommodations if your pet needs that too! I can also provide daily exercise, as I love to stay active and know how important it is for pets to be active as well!

“I’ve know melody for a few years now and she’s always been such a light. She’s fun and bubbly but also responsible and hardworking. She pampers her own pets and does the same for others. A while back she looked after my cat who admittedly can be a handful. She did great though and next time I’m away, she’s the first one I’d call to take care of my little guy.”
