Caring Dog lover
Both Jacquie and I grew up with dogs as integral parts of our lives. We believe they are family members. We sadly lost our delightful and goofy Greyhound, Teddy, last fall after many wonderful years together. Thus, at the current time, we do not have any pets of our own. However, we love watching other people's dogs and have been doing Rover for almost eight years. I am home with our two young daughters full-time so that means that your dog will get lots of attention and rarely be left for more than a few hours at a time. Since we have young children, it is very important for their safety that we only watch dogs that are comfortable and experienced with kids. Our place has a fenced in backyard that is perfect for dogs to romp and play. We live a block away from Theodore Wirth Park, so your dog will get many walks on its nature trails! We would love to care for your furry animal and provide it an enjoyable and comfortable stay when you are gone! We require a meet and greet to make sure the stay is agreeable for both parties.

Molly had a great time with Kyle, Jacquie and their girls! They were kind, responsive and provided frequent updates and photos. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a dog sitter :)
Kyle did a great job taking care of Rosie! He is very careful about selecting the dogs he will take and it seems to work well, because Rosie enjoyed her stay and the friends she made (including Kyle's kids).
Mr. PacMan (Welsh Corgi) was very well cared for by this family! Kyle was my primary contact, and he kept in touch with daily updates and pictures. I could tell my sweet pup was having the time of his life. A seamless and pleasant experience for humans and furry friend alike.
I never feel nervous leaving my pup with Jacquie and Kyle. I know that they and their two daughters will take wonderful care of her while I'm away. Great communication, pictures and updates from them as well.
I have boarded my big guy with Jacquie and Kyle twice now. They are amazing.
They did a great job watching Bruno! Wonderful updates throughout the stay.

Schedule
I'm home full-time with our two young kids which means that your pups will almost always have human companionship when they're at our home. They'll get out frequently for potty breaks and multiple walks a day.

Safety, trust & environment
I know caring for someone else's dog is a big responsibility and requires a lot of trust. I don't take that responsibility lightly. Therefore, I strive to always treat your dog how I would want my dog to be treated. Whenever your dog is outside in our fenced yard, I never leave them unattended for more than a few minutes without checking on them. I do greatly appreciate dogs that are crate trained, but it is not required. If we happen to be watching more than one dog, we'll make sure those dogs are separated when we are away in order to ensure their safety.

A typical day
While staying with us, your dog will enjoy playtime in our fenced yard. We love snuggling with dogs and playing games with them around the house. Also, we enjoy taking them for walks at Theodore Wirth Park.
