We could fully relax knowing that Turkey was happy and enjoying herself while we were away. Izzy went far beyond any expectations we could have had. Since Turkey is a hairless cat, Izzy had to put on and take off her sweatshirts daily and carefully determine whether the weather was appropriate for walks and outdoor time — which can be tricky given Turkey’s lack of fur and grumpiness! Turkey’s ears also require regular cleaning because they collect wax easily, and Izzy helped us tremendously with that as well. Throughout our trip, we received photos and updates from Izzy, which gave us so much peace of mind. We would recommend Izzy to any family looking for someone who will give special attention, care, and love to their beloved family member. We were away for 9 days, which was the longest we have ever been apart from Turkey. When we returned home, we were amazed by how happy and comfortable Turkey was, and by how consistently Izzy maintained Turkey’s feeding schedule. Most importantly, Izzy is truly a gem of a person. Her calm, easygoing, yet detail-oriented character made our time away completely worthwhile. We will absolutely continue requesting Izzy’s care moving forward!”

About: Dogs: I have grown up with German Shepherds my entire life. I currently own an elderly one and understand the difficulties of having an elderly dog. But also because I lived with them I learned to handle and read the body language of dogs. I have had a few smaller dogs in my life also so no worries if you own a smaller family member(s) because I'm comfortable with all sizes. (I have also been training dogs for 3+ years and wish to offer that soon!) Cats: My first job as a kid was to watch our kind neighbors cat. Meaning I fed, played and cleaned the litter box. I have also grown up around cats and I own 2 myself Other Animal Family Members: I also have owned many different reptiles, birds and small animals like leopard geckos, snakes, hamsters, guinea pigs, cockatiels and a few others. (So please feel free to reach out if you need a visit for these family members as well). I currently have afternoon times available! I am free from Thursday - Sunday from 11am to 10pm. I am currently in school so I have a very flexible schedule during that time to stop by and care for your family member(s). Your dog or cat is a family member. I will care for them just as you would. About: Ever since I was a kid, I begged my parents for a dog every day of my life. I never got one as a kid, but I have sure made up for it since! I got involved with Grey Face Rescue and have been fostering dogs for the last 5 years. I am very proud to have gotten seven foster dogs to their forever homes. If it was up to me, I would have many dogs of my own, but I have a crazy work schedule in the summer, which would not allow me to care for a dog. In the fall, winter, and spring I love to bring animals into my home. During these months, I work from home and I am able to give many walks and lots of attention! My fosters typically get two 30 minute walks a day, which is something I also really enjoy. If your dog comes to stay with me, they would get to meet my child who loves dogs just as much as I do, and my cat who pretty much stays clear of any dog that is brought into the home. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! I work from home and have constant availability to meet any dog’s schedule. I love providing them with multiple daily walks and any sort of engagement they need. There are no off-limits areas for your dog in my home. All of our furniture is open to pets. I have extensive experience with kitties, and have owned my 2 pups for just about 2 years now! I also have 2 kitties who we have had since kittens, who are 9 and 6 years old. Our pets are regarded as part of our family, and I am excited to make yours feel at home as well! I gladly offer potty and play breaks in our large fenced in back yard and lots of enrichment activities, from lick pads to puzzle toys. Please reach out if you have any questions! I work from home on Fridays, but otherwise that means that I am out of the house from 8 am to 4:30 pm. I do require a supervised overnight visit before I can allow pets to stay over while I am at work, but are happy to host your pets while I am away for the day, and can work with you to figure out a plan that works with my WFH schedule if you'd like as well! I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly, active pups. My kitties are also super friendly and welcoming, though less interested in playing than the dogs. About: I've had dogs almost my entire life and have been taking care of the dogs of friends and family for the past 11 years. This ranges from absolute cuddle bug Yorkies to energetic labs. I work from 6-3:30 Sunday through Thursday, but making sure that the animals in my care have a regular schedule as best fits around that is key. First thing in the morning I'd be making sure the animals in my care have access to food and water and taken outside to do their business as applicable. Once I get home I recheck food and water needs and take care of their play and exercise needs. I have a fenced in yard and depending on the animal's needs, they can be crated or allowed to roam around the house. About: Dogs have always been apart of my life, as I always had a dog growing up and at one point owned 5 dogs. To me having 5 dogs is no different than having 1, as long as you have enough love to go around. All they want to do is love you and make you happy, so how can you not love them in return. Depending on my health, my availabily may fluctuate, but now that I'm finally on the upswing I'm ready to be active and my abilites will only increase in the coming months! I am currently not offering care through my own home, but I am happy to provide check ins on many varieties of pets! I adore reptiles and exotic pets, and will happily feed, administer care, and help wear them out by playing inside, in the yard, or walking the nearby area.

The home has a very large fenced-in backyard which our dog enjoyed immensely. We mentioned that our dog is accustomed to going on walks and Nickolai was kind enough to take her out for walks around the neighborhood.”
