My husband Val and I have an extreme love for animals and would love to pamper your pet while you are away! We treat every animal as if it were our own, and we love our pets an incredible amount. We currently have a Lab/Great Pyrenees named "Harley". Harley is 8 years old and is calming down with age. He is more on the calm side but does enjoy some occasional playtime. Harley is neutered, always UTD on vaccinations, and easygoing with other pets. I am currently working from home on my own business and have a flexible schedule. My husband, Val, loves to help watch the pups too - he may do the drop off/pick ups if I have meetings or watch them for half days on rare occasions. He loves dogs just as much as I do and is very gentle and caring with each dog. The house here has a backyard with wood fencing, fully enclosed. PAST EXPERIENCE Jess I have been trusted by numerous dog owners to watch their pups while away and am always their go-to for pet boarding. I've also done dog fostering in the past for many different dog breeds, all with highly unique personalities. I have experience working in a vet clinic in Winona, MN as a pet care assistant at Pet Medical Clinic and know when something's just not right with an animal, along with knowledge from my college courses in Animal Science and past first-hand experience. During college, I've also worked in a doggy day care in St. Louis Park for some time as a dog handler, helping with behavioral issues and overseeing day-to-day boarding firsthand. Val Val has helped out with dogs staying here and although he hasn't done it professionally, has learned a lot of tips and tricks. He absolutely loves meeting new dogs and spending time with them! * Please reach out to me prior to booking if you prefer your dog not board with other dogs (with the exception of Harley) and I can block off our schedule prior to boarding. Feel free to ask any questions you may have and we hope to meet your furry friend soon! 😊 -Jess & Val Val & I currently let Harley out every couple of hours when it's nice out and 3x/day if the weather isnt great for a quick potty break. Our house is pet-proof, with high attention to detail with items that are left out so pets are as safe as possible at all times. Food/water dishes are cleaned thoroughly daily, feeding schedules are set, and well being of the animals here are of the most important concern. House is kept clean and backyard is cleared of poop (may not be able to clean as frequently if frozen in winter, 1x/wk if poor conditions).

PLEASE DO NOT take your pet here. The outside and I side of the hollow is very dirty. The back yard is like an abandoned march with mold, fungus, crab grass & like 20 other variety of grass. There is no lawn grass. Everything is falling apart in and outside. Inside, there are no counter spaces. There is no space not even for standing up in the home. Everything is dirty. There is a used, broken small pool thing with all sorts of death flies, things with wings in there. The worst part, Jessie wasn't even there for drop off or pickup. I explained directions at drop off to the person she referred to as "My husband" who is a French speaking man. Knows 0 English. 2 days later, my dog is not eating because her things are getting mixed together. Jessie says I should have said so even though I did to the husband. In ad, she writes like she will be able to walk the dogs and they will have ample exercise. When I asked for a pic of my princess, she reminded me things are hard because she is also managing a toddler. She snapped at me several times like a person who is mentally unstable. I ask for 1 pic of my puppy for a day. She got very rude, acts and speaks like you are bugging her. I have NEVER reserved a sitter absent at drop off & pickup. If u are ready to hand your precious one to a MUTE MAN THAT MUMBLES, for them to lay in the mud, crab grass, mold and nasty growth, u take them to this place. Their large dog is eating my princess food right in front of me. I picked up my dog so skinny & dirty. JUST BE AWARE YOUR DOG IS GOING FOR AN EXTENSIVE SHOWER AFTER PICKUP BECAUSE They WILL SMELL VERY BAD FROM ALL THE DIRT INSIDE & OUTSIDE THIS HOUSE. YICK!!!
Nova had a great stay with Jessie and Harley! She loved getting her zoomies out in the backyard and enjoyed a nice walk, too. By the time we got home, she was ready for a good nap. Jessie was kind, communicative, and super easy to coordinate with.
Jessie was quick and timely to respond and made me feel so comfortable leaving our puppy with her! Will absolutely be using Jessie again. Highly recommend!!
Jessie was great with communication and giving updates throughout day. My pup got along well with hers, too.
Jessie was very quick to respond and sent a lot of updates and pictures while our two pups were at her house. They had so much fun and we could tell they played hard because they were bumps on a log all the next day! Will definitely use Jessie again!!
Jessie took great care of my older dog, Mason! He had a great time snuggling with the Jessie’s fur babies Harley and Ninja. Mason has some special needs and Jessie was very attentive and patient. Thank you, Jessie!

Schedule
Dogs get let outside frequently if they want, every 2-3 hours as options. There's always someone home with the exception of 3-4 hours max typically for boarders.

Safety, trust & environment
Enclosed large kennel and Great Dane size wire kennels are in-home (it's up to the owner of they want to use them). Always sanitized between uses. Cleaning only with vinegar and natural, non toxic chemicals. Floors vacuumed and dog bowls washed daily. Poop picked up daily (weather dependant).

A typical day
A typical day for your dog would include a walk upon request (length depending on your dog's physical ability and weather-dependant), play time, and short training sessions upon request. My husband Val also enjoys play time outside with the dogs.
