I take things very slowly with all animals I care for. I respect that I am in their space and that they may not trust me right away. I let them come to me at their own pace; then we take it from there! There is never any pressure for them to like me right away, and I never want pet parents to feel like their pet has to act a certain way around me!

It is important for me to know what a dog likes to do, and any quirks they may have. If they are reactive, that is fine - I just need to know! Also any medications they take, anything they are allergic to, any social triggers they may have.
A typical day
I love going on walks with pups and exploring new neighborhoods, trails, etc. We also play in backyards, play with toys, and get lots of treats!

Pet care experience
Having grown up with dogs, I have witnessed firsthand the important role they (and cats!) play in the lives of their humans. My rescue dog and two cats are my world, and when I care for your animal(s), I will treat them just like my own. I have experience with dog and cat medication administration (both oral medications and injections), reactivity/behavioral issues, and more. My rescue dog is on-leash reactive and one of my cats is diabetic. I will handle any special needs your fur kiddo might have with patience and compassion.

Kendall cared for our two dogs for a week and was amazing. One of our dogs has a complex medical disease and requires meds twice a day with restrictions around feeding with the meds. Kendall kept a detailed log of medication delivery and in communication with me about the dogs’ well being. I cannot say enough good things about having Kendall stay with our dogs. The dogs loved her and were very well cared for and the house was in great shape when we got home.
Kendall was great! She was quick to reply from the start, came over and did a meet & greet with the cats, and took great care of them while I was gone! I have one very anxious cat and one very social cat, and she handled both with ease :) I felt extremely comfortable leaving both in her care for the weekend, and will definitely be booking again!

Kendall was incredibly caring and kind to my two cats while I was out of town! She was diligent, thoughtful, and more than wonderful to work with! She sent updates and pictures from each check-in, which I enjoyed!!
