“I had a last minute trip come up, and needed someone to watch my dog Nala on short notice. I rarely travel, and I work from home so I was a little worried about her separation anxiety. Amanda took amazing care of Nala, made sure she felt comfortable and safe. She provided regular photo updates, as well as keeping me informed of how Nala was eating and sleeping, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Nala had a great time playing fetch, going for walks, and snuggling on the couch. Amanda even sent her home with a cute home-made treat box (all made of ingredients that were sensitive to Nala’s allergies!). About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. Working from home in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, I’m available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and checkins. There’s no private yard, but there’s a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for some outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience and can care for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I have been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. On Saturdays, I’m less flexible for check-in and check-out due to volunteer work (away for half the day). I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).

About: I've had pets for most of my life, and love all animals. We had a miniature schnauzer growing up, then in college I adopted my late cat, Boots. I recently had to say goodbye to my 12.5 year old GSD mix, Gabby. Gabby was my soul dog, and I cared for her like she was my child. Both Boots and Gabby had different health issues in their later years, so I have experience administering meds, giving feline subcutaneous fluids and have used canine mobility aids (help em up harness and wheelchair). I absolutely love watching my friends and families pets and am proud to be my friends' top choice for pet sitting while they are gone or busy. Although we don’t have a yard that means we are out for walks FREQUENTLY to ensure everyone one gets out and smells the fresh air. Besides growing up with dogs in my home and being the family dog sitter, I volunteer frequently at a local rescue and familiar with caring for many animals. Your child will be treated like royalty! As mentioned my partner and I work remote and home all day everyday - we can accommodate to any schedule for potty breaks and feedings and plenty of play! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. I also have experience with senior dogs, puppies, and dogs who may be recovering from illnesses or surgeries. I can administer oral or topical medications and provide cpr if it were ever necessary. If your dog has specific or specialized needs, please let me know and I will ensure I work with you and them to provide the best care possible. My schedule completely revolves around the dogs. I am a college student, so occasionally school endeavors can interfere with pick-up or drop-off times, but for the most part, I can fully adjust my schedule to the needs of you and your dog. You are always free to adjust pick-up and drop-off times with no extra charge, just send me a message and we'll work out the best time for you. I do not charge in situations such as a missed flight, illness, or other unforseen circumstances that may require your dog to be in my care for a little longer. My main goal is to always treat your dogs like my own! Everyday I ensure your dogs are loved, and I try to spend as much time with them as possible. I have a large fenced in yard where your dog can run and play, I try to spend as much time outside as possible. If your dog is social, my dogs love to play and socialize with yours. I have a Golden Retriever and a Havapoo, they're both neutered and very friendly. Rex my golden is very gentle and plays well with smaller dogs. If your dogs prefer to be on their own, I can do staggered outside time and keep them completely separate, no problem! Feedings always take place in kennels or separate rooms, so dogs are always separated for that.
About: Before moving to Minnesota I lived with my roommates dog for 4 years. About: I've been around dogs and cats my whole life. We had 2 dogs and 2 cats when I was growing up. I've been walking dogs since I was little. And I know all the dogs in my neighborhood on a first name basis. I work from home and generally have plenty of time throughout the day for walks and cuddles. My husband also loves helping out and playing with them. I have a big backyard that's mostly fenced in (each of my surrounding neighbors have fences). There's plenty of room throughout my entire house for your little baby to make themselves at home
About: I have lots of patience for all kinds of animals with all kinds of behaviors. I am passionate about cats dogs, and any pet I meet. I am often the favorite human to the animals in my life. I currently have a part time job but am planning to do full time school in the fall. I will have time outside of classes, and plenty of time over the summer, to care and play with your pets! I will try to get to know your pet as best I can. I am flexible and willing to snuggle, play, go on walks or look out the window with your furry friend. If I am ever watching pets in my own home I have a very friendly 30 lb terrier mix that loves to play with other dogs.

About: Hello! I already love your dog :) My partner and I both work remote so we are home all day! Although we don’t have a yard that means we are out for walks FREQUENTLY to ensure everyone one gets out and smells the fresh air. Besides growing up with dogs in my home and being the family dog sitter, I volunteer frequently at a local rescue and familiar with caring for many animals. Your child will be treated like royalty! As mentioned my partner and I work remote and home all day everyday - we can accommodate to any schedule for potty breaks and feedings and plenty of play! Although there is no yard we are out frequently walking and using the restroom. Rest assured we also have the ability to keep separate if needed.

“I had a last minute trip come up, and needed someone to watch my dog Nala on short notice. I rarely travel, and I work from home so I was a little worried about her separation anxiety. Amanda took amazing care of Nala, made sure she felt comfortable and safe. She provided regular photo updates, as well as keeping me informed of how Nala was eating and sleeping, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Nala had a great time playing fetch, going for walks, and snuggling on the couch. Amanda even sent her home with a cute home-made treat box (all made of ingredients that were sensitive to Nala’s allergies!). I’ll definitely be booking with Amanda again next time I need pet care - Amanda, thank you again for taking such good care of Nala!”

“We were very happy with Terrie and would use her again. She sent us cute pictures of walks. I also liked that she gave us honest updates on how Zuzu was doing. For example, she let us know she slept downstairs, instead of in Terrie's bedroom. That is 100% normal Zuzu, so no problem. But it was great to know that Terrie was checking on if Zuzu was stressed or if she was acting out of the norm! ”

“Nathan is absolutely amazing! I had a death in my family and my sitter bailed hours before I was suppose to leave for South Dakota. Requested him I think at 7am. He responded instantly and I was able to drop off my old girl by 10am. Truly a life saver!! My old girl has higher needs and he didn’t even blind an eye! He took notes on her behavior and went above and beyond. I can’t say enough good things about this experience and it was my first experience with rover!!”
