Lauren and James did such an amazing job with our dog while we were out of town for a week. They sent awesome updates every day and such cute pictures. Winston felt right at home with them and they loved him like their own. He probably had more fun with them than he does at home! He came back fulfilled and happy. We will absolutely work with Lauren and James again when we have a trip come up.

Jeff (& his wife, Sherry) took excellent care of our cat and dog for over 2 weeks, in their house. The pets were spoiled and received lots of love, attention, walks and care. I appreciated seeing pictures and videos during the time they were with Jeff and could see that our pets were very fond of Jeff and Sherry! Highly recommend!

About: I’m passionate about understanding canine behavior and providing thoughtful, attentive care for every dog. I’ve researched a lot about what drives dogs and how they communicate with their body. I’ve learned that dogs don’t understand punishment the way humans do, but instead they thrive on understanding cause and effect through repetition and positive conditioning. What I’ve been taught and what I’ve seen personally is that what works best is structure, clear communication, and consistency. I focus on enrichment that lets dogs follow their natural instincts while also teaching boundaries through positive reinforcement and conditioning (I will NEVER punish your dog beyond breaking boundaries and I will follow any strict guidelines you give me). I believe every dog has their own personality and unique needs, and I’m committed to understanding and respecting that. I have my own dog who enjoys playing with other dogs, so socialization is a natural part of care when appropriate. With your pet you can expect: attentive supervision, detailed updates (with photos throughout the day), and a caregiver who genuinely cares about their wellbeing and comfort. I am currently working part time in the morning so my best hours are from 2:30pm - 10pm but I am very flexible and can often change things around. I have a fully fenced back yard and based off of your Dogs training level and your comfort I also do walks in my local dog parks as well as loose leashed walks. I also play games like frisbee and fetch. I have a dog of my own and she has good play manners and is well trained so expect that my dog will be there as well playing with yours! When taking care of a pet long term I am gone no longer than 4-5 hours, though this is rare. I am very flexible and can adapt to the routine and every day training that you do with your dog.

About: Dogs have been an important part of my life for many years. I currently own an 8-year-old Siberian Husky named Storm, so I have extensive experience caring for large, energetic dogs and understanding their exercise needs. We have a large, fully fenced private backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. My family provides a loving, structured home environment, and dogs receive plenty of attention and care throughout the day. We also have two young children, so we only accept dogs that are friendly, gentle, and comfortable around kids. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and at home while their owners are away. Pet care is already a consistent part of my daily routine. I am a stay-at-home mom to two children, so I am home throughout the day and able to provide attention, care, and supervision for pets. Each day, we go on at least one longer walk with our dog, in addition to shorter potty breaks and outdoor time as needed. These walks are a regular part of our schedule and help ensure our 8-year-old Siberian Husky gets the exercise and stimulation he needs. We also spend time in our large fenced-in backyard, which gives additional safe space for activity and play. Because I’m home during the day, I’m able to be flexible and responsive to a dog’s needs—whether that’s extra potty breaks, attention, or adjusting activity based on energy level or weather. Overall, pet care fits very naturally into our household rhythm and is already an important part of our daily family routine. We start the day with feeding, potty breaks, and a walk, and we typically do at least one longer walk each day to make sure our dog gets enough exercise and mental stimulation. Since we have an 8-year-old Siberian Husky, we’re very familiar with meeting the needs of high-energy dogs and making sure they stay active and engaged. Throughout the day, pets are part of our home environment. Because I am a stay-at-home mom to two young children, I’m home and available to provide regular supervision, attention, and outdoor breaks as needed. We also have a large fenced-in backyard, which allows for safe outdoor play and extra exercise time. In the evenings, we maintain a calm routine with another potty break, feeding, and time spent relaxing together as a family. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, well-exercised, and integrated into a structured but flexible household where they are treated like part of the family.

Pamela goes above and beyond. Our dog developed a cough and she took him to the vet for care and administered his medicine. She is kind and loving and care deeply about the adjustment and well being of your pet. I was able to enjoy our vacation knowing he was in Pamela’s care. She keeps in communication with you and sends pictures. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable caring compassionate dog sitter and boarder.

Patricia and Patrick are Keaton’s Grandma and Grandpa! He makes himself right at home the second he walks in and looks forward to every visit. We never have a worry when he is in their care. I’m not sure Keaton even misses us while we are gone. Patricia sends sweet little updates everyday. We cannot thank or recommend them enough for caring for our fur baby!

There are 2,610 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Lino Lakes. About 92% of Lino Lakes sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
