About: I've cared for dogs, cats, and small animals my entire life, both my own and for friends or neighbors. Working in environmental conservation, I naturally love animals and being outdoors, and I volunteered at a shelter for several years. I enjoy exploring local trails and would love to bring your dog on a run or hike whenever I get the chance. I live near a dog park, and I bring fresh water and waste bags on every trip. I am attentive to all your pets needs and can administer basic medications. I am working full-time but am used to coming home and exercising or playing with a pet. I wake up early, allowing enough time to go on a walk before work. I go above and beyond for you and your beloved pet, sending photos and checking in with you regularly. On top of pet-sitting, I care for your home as well, which can include cleaning, bringing in your mail, and watering indoor/outdoor plants.

About: Hi, I’m Autumn! While I’m new to Rover, I am not new to dogs! Animals have been a huge part of my entire life! At 16, I started working as a kennel assistant at a veterinary clinic. I went on to receive my degree in veterinary technology and dedicated almost 10 years as a tech. Now, I’d love to continue caring for pets beyond the clinic! My husband and I own a 1/2 acre of acre of land in Forest Lake. We have one dog, a senior Shih Tzu named Nala! For the safety of all dogs, I do require they are comfortable being kenneled during times I am away or sleeping. Otherwise, they are free to follow me around the house or even nap on the couch! Caring for animals is my top priority, so I have the flexibility to be home with all pets for the majority of the day, every day! In our home, pets are family! We offer a large lawn to allow your pets plenty of room to exercise. Plenty of snuggles and playtime will be offered along with daily walks as requested/weather permitting. Crating is utilized for safety when pets are not directly supervised (home alone or bedtime). Any other needs? No problem! I know each and every pet has their own unique preferences and needs.

A typical day in my home will include plenty of attention, companionship, and time to relax. I’m home and available to give your dog as much care and company as they need, and I’ll follow their usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable. With your permission, we can enjoy walks, spend time together in the backyard, or settle in for some quiet company—whatever suits your pup’s personality and energy level. When it’s time to rest, they can choose from several dog beds, or you’re welcome to bring their favorite bed, blanket, or crate so they have something familiar. I understand that dogs can feel nervous when they’re away from their person, so I’ll give them patience, reassurance, and time to settle in. My goal is for your dog to feel happy, safe, and well cared for, and for you to feel comfortable knowing they’re in loving hands.
