About: Our family said goodbye to our 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Lou, and we are ready to open our home to our neighbor's pups for love and attention while you're away! Britt grew up with lots of dogs (and cats), and the whole family has experience caring for animals at all ages. Both Britt and Mike work from home full time, and are able to care for pets throughout the day and night. Our three children are in school and preschool in the neighborhood during the week, giving us several opportunities to go on daily walks. We have a large, fenced in backyard for dogs and our children to share. We do not require dogs to be crated at night or when we are away for short amounts of time. I volunteer as the head steward of a local off leash dog park. I've had dogs my entire life, currently I have a partially deaf sheepadoodle and a goldendoodle who is timid at first but they both love to run and play with their dog friends. I am primarily a stay at home mom of 3 kiddos that I homeschool. I do work a few hours a week at a local playground in town. About: I grew up raising cattle, goats, and horses. I have had pet dogs, cats, and fish all my life. I was a vet tech in my early twenties, and a milk goat and chicken owner in my thirties. My family and I currently live with and care for a dog, cats, and an indoor rabbit. I went through the AKC good citizen training with our current dog, and use only positive behavior strategies. I love all animals, and love to house sit and pet sit for friends and family. About: Hello fellow pet lovers! My sweet girl Sophie passed away this year after 14 loving years together. While I’m not quite ready for a new pup of my own a certainly miss caring for dogs. Maybe I can help you out there! I am a pet parent to all critters under the sun! I have extensive experience with dogs from young pup to seniors with medical needs including all sorts of breeds, large and small. I’m very active and happy to take your high energy pup for long walks (or even runs!) or just cuddle up with your couch potato. I also have extensive personal experience with cats. I have two kittens and have cat sat for friends and neighbors since I was in middle school. No matter how velcro-y or aloof your babies are Id love to keep them happy and healthy. Beyond dogs and cats I have owned (or cared for extensively) birds (cockatiels), reptiles and amphibians (bearded dragons & painted turtles), pocket pets (hamsters, guinea pigs & rabbits), freshwater fish, and horses! My wide expanse of knowledge means even if I haven’t cared for your exact critter yet I’m confident I’ll be able to pick up any new information easily and will make sure they are well cared for. No critter will scare me away! PLEASE NOTE: At this time I am not looking for any new regularly repeating weekly drop ins/walks, so if you’re looking for a new daily walker I’m probably not your best choice, however if you need the odd occasional visit, a sitter while you’re out of town, a sub for the week, or something similar I’d be happy to help! I work from home which grants me a lot of flexibility during the morning and day for walks or drop ins. My evenings can get a bit busy but with enough notice I can absolutely work in further care as well. I’ll be sure to adhere strictly to any instructions you give me. About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.
About: I’ve taken in many animals in need and got them supplies and environments they needed. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, bearded dragons, sugar gliders, turtles, and snakes in my past. I currently have two cats and one dog. I work from home so I can make some times others can’t due to working out of the home. I’m not always busy on the weekends and can help take care of your fur/non fur babies. Water, walks, bathroom needs, feeding, and some medicine applications. I like to give lots of cuddles to animas who want it and I typically leave shy animas alone unless I am approached. Always start with hand sniffs before applying pets.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about 8 or 9, mostly family dogs to start. I have also house sat for not only family dogs but friends as well. I work at a doggie daycare facility currently, so I am familiar with dog behaviors and care. I currently work full-time in evenings, so that gives plenty of morning time for walks and cuddles. About: I have lots of patience for all kinds of animals with all kinds of behaviors. I am passionate about cats dogs, and any pet I meet. I am often the favorite human to the animals in my life. I currently have a part time job but am planning to do full time school in the fall. I will have time outside of classes, and plenty of time over the summer, to care and play with your pets! I will try to get to know your pet as best I can. I am flexible and willing to snuggle, play, go on walks or look out the window with your furry friend. If I am ever watching pets in my own home I have a very friendly 30 lb terrier mix that loves to play with other dogs.

Caring for our senior dog has also given me firsthand experience with the extra patience, attention and slower pace older pups sometimes need.
