I bring a mix of shelter experience, puppy training, and confidence-building skills to every dog I care for. After three years walking dogs at the Animal Humane Society, I’m comfortable with all breeds, energy levels, and personalities. I’ve fostered four puppies (8 weeks–6 months), so I’m experienced with early training, routines, and helping young dogs settle in. I also house sit regularly and have become a trusted caregiver for pups who are shy or anxious. Supporting nervous dogs is a specialty of mine—I read their body language, give them space, and help them feel safe at their own pace. Your dog will be cared for with patience, consistency, and a calm, reassuring presence.

Lauren was wonderful in taking care of Mr. Kitty who was newly diagnosed as diabetic. She was very punctual as Kitty needed injections and feedings every 12 hrs. She left little notes as to how he was doing with injections and his litter box habits. We are very pleased with the time that she has spent with Mr. Kitty
A few years ago I hired Lauren to watch my two dogs while I was at work. They loved her. Once I came home early from work and found the dogs snuggled up next to her on the couch. For some reason animals are naturally attracted to her. She volunteers at the Humane Society once a week because she loves being around dogs. I have seen her with her horses and they follow her around like she is the Pied Piper. She is also very reliable and absolutely trust worthy. She would be a great hire for anyone with dogs.

Schedule
I work from home most days, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and extra attention throughout the day. I can easily fit visits in during my lunch break, and I’m also available on weekends and holidays for consistent, reliable care whenever you need it.
