Hi! My name is Julia and I can’t wait to be your pet’s new best friend! I’ve had pet cats for over 3 years and have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! During college, I conducted a study on cat behavior at a local cat cafe, volunteered there, and ended up adopting one of my adorable research subjects (gray tabby in photos)! I also frequently cat sit for my extended family members. As for dogs, I was an intern at the Penn Vet Working Dog Center last summer and assisted the training of scent detection working dogs. This past year, I worked as an animal care tech at the Animal Humane Society and cared for hundreds of cats, dogs, and critters getting them ready for adoption. I also have previous experience caring for Alaskan husky sled dogs in northern MN. Dogs are my passion and I hope to pursue a career working with dogs in some capacity! I have been on Rover for over a year now and have experience with all age ranges and personalities of animals! I am reliable and will love and care for your pet unconditionally as if they were one of my own❤️

I am flexible and can care for your pet however works best for them! I am happy to give them snuggle time, play time, long walks or hikes, and of course lots of love!

Pete had a great weekend with Julia!! Walks when it wasn’t raining, playing with toys inside and having a treats scavenger hunt when it was raining, snuggles on the sofa, etc.!! Julia sent photos and updates, and is just generally a wonderful pet and house-sitter!! Pete is looking forward to her next visit! ❤️

Julia is so great! We love having her stay at our home with our dogs. She is very responsive and great with our two dogs who can be a bit needy! She keep our house clean and tidy and is always very respectful. I would 100% recommend her for your dog or house sitting needs!
Julia was great! Communicated well and sent picture the entire time we were gone and left our house clean when she left! We came back to happy dogs which is just what we wanted! We will be using her again in the future!
