Hi! My name is Julia and I can’t wait to be your pet’s new best friend! I’ve had pet cats for over 3 years and have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! During college, I conducted a study on cat behavior at a local cat cafe, volunteered there, and ended up adopting one of my adorable research subjects (gray tabby in photos)! I also frequently cat sit for my extended family members. As for dogs, I was an intern at the Penn Vet Working Dog Center last summer and assisted the training of scent detection working dogs. This past year, I worked as an animal care tech at the Animal Humane Society and cared for hundreds of cats, dogs, and critters getting them ready for adoption. I also have previous experience caring for Alaskan husky sled dogs in northern MN. Dogs are my passion and I hope to pursue a career working with dogs in some capacity! I have been on Rover for over a year now and have experience with all age ranges and personalities of animals! I am reliable and will love and care for your pet unconditionally as if they were one of my own❤️
