A typical day
I LOVE going for walks. If I can get "two a day" in with my partner and his dog, I'm thrilled. Playing with balls or going for short jogs are also fun with dogs, and I enjoy working on skills or exercises they are being trained on. Cuddles on the couch after yummy food is great, too 😊

Pet care experience
My pets are my entire world. Animals bring me so much joy, and I love making sure they are living their best lives. I'm so excited to meet your pets, and go for walks and enjoy the nice days with your pupper. I am also a volunteer case manager for Diabetic Cats in Need, serving sugar-cat parents around the country, and I have had several high needs and medically complex pets myself. I adore helping pet parents with their diabetic and senior animals. I'm comfortable pet sitting for animals who need pills, injections, glucose tests, sub q fluids, inhalers, feeding tubes, and other treatments at home.

I’ve trusted Heather with my pets countless times over the past 6 years. Heather is compassionate and diligent in her pet care. She is responsible and communicative in general. She was so great with my senior husky who needed medications (oral and injectables), special dietary instructions, and physical accommodations. I don't know how I would have been comfortable taking trips without her taking care of my Mia. My cats instinctively trust her and I can’t say that about many people. I feel so at ease when I know she is caring for my animals and I would recommend her to anyone.
Heather has taken excellent care of our two kitties many times. When one had a health emergency, Heather diligently communicated and handled the situation with urgency and lots of care. Heather has tons of experience working with rescues and understands the many different personalities and quirks cats have. Our normally shy boy absolutely LOVES Heather and heads for her lap any chance he gets. Honestly, I cannot imagine a better human to care for our beloved furbabies!
