My pets are my entire world. Animals bring me so much joy, and I love making sure they are living their best lives. I'm so excited to meet your pets, and go for walks and enjoy the nice days with your pupper. I am also a volunteer case manager for Diabetic Cats in Need, serving sugar-cat parents around the country, and I have had several high needs and medically complex pets myself. I adore helping pet parents with their diabetic and senior animals. I'm comfortable pet sitting for animals who need pills, injections, glucose tests, sub q fluids, inhalers, feeding tubes, and other treatments at home.

I will follow your routine so that whatever your pets are comfortable with, and used to, is how I will care for them. I can take them for walks, give them play time, and am comfortable giving medication or treatments when needed.

I’ve trusted Heather with my pets countless times over the past 6 years. Heather is compassionate and diligent in her pet care. She is responsible and communicative in general. She was so great with my senior husky who needed medications (oral and injectables), special dietary instructions, and physical accommodations. I don't know how I would have been comfortable taking trips without her taking care of my Mia. My cats instinctively trust her and I can’t say that about many people. I feel so at ease when I know she is caring for my animals and I would recommend her to anyone.
Heather has taken excellent care of our two kitties many times. When one had a health emergency, Heather diligently communicated and handled the situation with urgency and lots of care. Heather has tons of experience working with rescues and understands the many different personalities and quirks cats have. Our normally shy boy absolutely LOVES Heather and heads for her lap any chance he gets. Honestly, I cannot imagine a better human to care for our beloved furbabies!
Heather is an incredible pet caregiver! I would recommend her to anyone as she is not only super knowledgeable, but her level of care for my furry loved ones is unmatched. Heather has years of providing medical administration to pets, especially diabetes treatments for cats and pancreatitis management/monitoring. She helped my cats when they experienced pancreatitis during separate flare-ups and needed fluids administered during their recovery. When on vacation, she did such an amazing job closely monitoring my three cats to make sure all was well. She also would spend lots of quality time playing with them and making sure they felt loved! Sending frequent updates was another great thing that I appreciated about Heather and the level of care that she provided. You will be able to go on vacation and not worry, knowing that your pet(s) are in such great hands!

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule. I have a car and can travel reasonable distances. I am happy to come over during the day, evenings, and weekends.
