My wife and I have had paws in our house almost from day 1. Over the years we have had 6 dogs and 7 cats, all of which came on board as puppies or kittens, and they all lived long and happy lives. Currently we have 1 dog and 2 cats.

Our cats are indoor cats with access to a screen porch to satisfy their outdoor desires. We have used the Invisible Fence for our previous larger dogs. The client would set the requirements for care at the pet's home. I also have walking shoes and a leash for doggie exercise. I have not signed up to care for client's animals at our house.

Dave is a very compassionate and gentle caretaker for my dog. I have a nervous dog, and he was very patient and understanding, offering treats and pets. I would highly recommend him!

Dave was great!!! He was ready to step in and take care and take Oliver on a couple walks each day who is a 7 month old puppy that is super energetic and loving and thankfully persuaded with treats!!! We appreciated Dave’s help and will absolutely be booking with him again!
I have known Dave for over 50 years and he has always shared his life and love with critters! They are who he greets first when on a walk in the neighborhood or on the beach! Even the shy and less approachable ones seek him out!! He has always shared his home with cats and dogs and a few hamsters and Guinea pigs, but he also has been known to train chipmunks to eat peanuts from his hand and calmly hold exotic snakes!! They say animals know who they can trust; they know that Dave is that kind!
I've known Dave for over 40 years, watching him love and care for several generations of family dogs and cats including mixed breed terriers, pure bred goldens, and stray kittens who were lucky enough to find their way to his garage! He's the kind of guy who always stops to talk to dog owners, scratch their pups ears, and savor wags and kisses. When an original pet sitter fell through for me, I was lucky enough to know that Dave would step in and care for my dog until I could get home. I don't know any pet lover with more patience, kindness, and "animal connection" than Dave

Schedule
I am now retired, so I have maximum flexibility to schedule sitting/walking times. The biggest competitors for my time are the grandkids, and the lawnmower in the summer and snow shovel in the winter.
