Mark and I both love dogs and we have many years of experience taking care of our own dogs, as well as those of family and friends. We lost our beloved pet, Lola, and miss having a playful pup around. As active retired and semi-retired individuals, we have lots of time to play with your dog, take him or her on long walks around the neighborhood, and give your dog lots of attention. Our home is pet friendly. We have no issue with dogs making themselves at home on our furniture or beds and they will be secure in our fenced yard. We know the feeling of anxiety one has when leaving a pet and we will treat and care for your dog like family.

Lely & Mark were wonderful sitters for our dog. We have an overly anxious girl and being that she stayed with them near the 4th of July holiday, there were some extra scary booms outside that she didn’t like, but they did a wonderful job of helping her find comfortable, safe spaces in their home and keeping us updated and sharing plenty of daily photos of all their activities. We’d definitely book them again in the future!
Lely and Mark were great! It was our first Rover experience and they were total pros, giving us updates and pictures throughout the day. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our Pearl.
Lely and Mark are fantastic. They took such great care of our senior dog Penny that she didn’t want to leave 😊 She got a daily walk, lots of love, and plenty of nap time in the sun. We got updates with pictures so we knew she was in great hands while we were away. Very grateful to them for taking such great care of our girl.

Elsa loves staying with Lely and Mark, and we feel so comfortable leaving her with them. They treat her like family!

Schedule
Mark and I are retired so we adjust our schedules so one of us is usually home to take care of your pet. We rarely leave a dog home alone and if we need to it is seldom for more than 2 hours.

We have a fenced yard and our home is pet friendly. All our dogs are allowed on our furniture and we also have a dog bed for their comfort.
A typical day
We love to stimulate your dog mentally and physically by playing games and taking walks. There is a pond near our home that has a walking path and that is one of our favorite spots to go. .
