Loving Couple that Loves Dogs!
As a retired couple in our sixties with a passion for dogs, we provide a range of services including Doggie Day-Care, Drop-in Visits, Overnight Stays at your home, and dog hosting in our own house. Every dog in our care is treated like family, enjoying frequent walks and unrestricted access throughout our home. Typically, at least one of us is present to keep your “pup” company. We adhere to your specific guidelines to ensure consistency and comfort for your dog. You’ll receive nightly photos and daily updates. With eleven years of experience on Rover and a loyal base of returning clients, we’re happy to offer references upon request. At The Dog Sitters, we give devoted attention and affection to each dog individually.

Howie was very caring and responsible in all aspects related to having our Tillie in his home while I was recovering from surgery. He sent photos and update notes daily letting me know how she was doing. Tillie's stay with Howie went from an expected two weeks to almost two months. In that extended time, he stepped up taking care of appointments, etc.

Schedule
As retirees, caring for your dog is our primary commitment. Your pet will seldom be left alone, as we integrate them into our household and treat them with the same affection and attention as if they were our own pets.

Safety, trust & environment
There is no fence in our yard. Your pup will be taken on four to six walks daily, depending on the weather and their needs. All pups are kept on a leash whenever they leave our house. For safety and liability reasons, our guests do not interact with other dogs we encounter during walks.
A typical day
A standard day begins with an early start at approximately 6:30 am. We proceed outdoors to allow our guests to attend to their needs. Breakfast follows shortly thereafter. Following breakfast, the morning walk is undertaken. Subsequently, we adhere to the schedule previously provided by you.
