Long Walks and Playtime Homebodies!

I didn't know just how much I would love dogs until I took a job at the Humane Society. My parents were allergic to dogs, so I was never allowed to have one. I worked there for a year, doing every job you can think of when it came to care, feeding, and play. I clipped nails, I learned body language and social cues, I gave medicine, I bathed, I walked, I played, you name it! It was then that I decided to get my own girl, Ursa, a sweet but shy girl who loves to socialize and play with other dogs (and cats, unironically). We live within walking distance of several parks and we'd love to walk and play with your dogs too! (Just a quick heads-up: my sweet girl Ursa loves other dogs, but she does NOT love other people. She is an abused rescue, so if you need to meet her to feel comfortable, just please be aware that she will be loud and anxious and bark the whole time while running away.)

Hilary boarded my 1yo pup for 3 days. She made him feel safe and accommodated his anxiety when he couldn’t sleep through the night in a new place. Hilary was communicative and reassuring. She sent pictures and reported on troublesome interactions between her dog and mine. Hilary excellent with her services.

Hilary was able to accommodate me in a short notice. She did a great due diligence to ensure that my dog is a good match for her pets. She was very communicative and respectful, provided great updates and photos. Hilary took my pup on a long walk w her pup. I felt very secure about her having my dog.

Did a really nice job and didn’t bother me while I was away, which I appreciate.

Hilary was amazing. Super attentive and quick to respond. She took care of our girl over thanksgiving break and sent photos/updates almost everyday! I even found a new leash that works for my puller through Hilary. Would love to book with her again in the future! ❤️?

Calendar and availability

Schedule

My work is at home, which has been good for the pandemic. I write and draw, but I set my own schedule, so I'm always there for socialization, walking a lot whenever the mood strikes your pet, and of course lots of playtime.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in an apartment
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog, 1 cat
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 4-8 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I do not currently have a yard, but my apartment has a dog run! The inside of my apartment is pretty spacious too, perfect for playtime. I also like to get up and move around, so we walk a lot! They'll always have access to water, and I make sure that the temperature is safe to walk outside so no one gets heat exhaustion or too cold.

Pets

A typical day

We have a dog run at the apartment, I'd say good for two dogs to run around and have a good time! I tend to go on several walks a day; due to my job, I like to get up and move around, so if your dog is active, they should enjoy that! We have lots of dog toys too!

I want to know how active your dog is and how much fun walks and playtime are for them! They also have to be at least tolerant of other dogs and cats since I have some (though they tend to keep to themselves). Also, any emergency pet care information is necessary to know, as well as behavior outliers.
