Pet Sitting New Hope

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I grew up with dogs in my extended family and have always been one of the people helping care for them, so being around different breeds, personalities, and energy levels has always felt very natural to me. In the last several years, that experience has grown through having dogs of my own and dog sitting through Rover. I’ve now cared for 40+ dogs, from young puppies to seniors and dogs with special needs. I’m comfortable adjusting to each dog’s routine, personality, activity level, feeding schedule, medications, and whatever helps them feel most comfortable away from home. Our home is very dog-friendly. We have a large fenced yard with plenty of room to play, and we’re within walking distance of a park and dog park. I work from home Monday through Friday and am home most weekends, so dogs get lots of attention, supervision, outdoor time, and opportunities to settle in and feel like part of the household. We lost our sweet girl Stella in December 2025, and we now have Ellie and Pepper. Ellie is very used to having visiting dogs around, and Pepper is a playful younger pup who loves having canine company. Between them, visiting dogs usually have built-in buddies while they’re here. I genuinely love having dogs around and want them to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and at home while their people are away. Routine I work from home Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, so Ellie isn’t left alone during the day. I’m also home and available most weekends. Our days follow a consistent routine: Ellie goes out first thing between 6:30 and 7 AM, then eats breakfast. In the winter, walks are weather-permitting, so most outdoor time is in the yard with plenty of supervised play. Dinner is around 6 PM and bedtime is around 9 PM. Visiting dogs fit right into this rhythm, with regular outdoor breaks, playtime, and lots of company throughout the day. I provide a safe and comfortable environment where dogs can relax and play. My home has a fenced yard for outdoor time, and I supervise dogs throughout the day since I work from home. I make sure all dogs get plenty of attention, follow any special care instructions, and have an stress-free stay.

I work part time and share a lot of boarding care with my partner. Our schedules overlap so your pup will have very little time that they might have to be alone. When your pup stays with me in my home we try to make their stay as comfortable as possible. There are areas for both chill time and outside time; with dedicated space for rest and play as well as an easily accessible fenced yard.

About: Ever since I was a kid, I begged my parents for a dog every day of my life. I never got one as a kid, but I have sure made up for it since! I got involved with Grey Face Rescue and have been fostering dogs for the last 5 years. I am very proud to have gotten seven foster dogs to their forever homes. If it was up to me, I would have many dogs of my own, but I have a crazy work schedule in the summer, which would not allow me to care for a dog. In the fall, winter, and spring I love to bring animals into my home. During these months, I work from home and I am able to give many walks and lots of attention! My fosters typically get two 30 minute walks a day, which is something I also really enjoy. If your dog comes to stay with me, they would get to meet my child who loves dogs just as much as I do, and my cat who pretty much stays clear of any dog that is brought into the home. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! I work from home and have constant availability to meet any dog’s schedule. I love providing them with multiple daily walks and any sort of engagement they need. There are no off-limits areas for your dog in my home. All of our furniture is open to pets. We are very well-versed in keeping food off the counter and ensuring that is a safe environment for your dog. I even have multiple size dog beds from my years of fostering as well as toys, bowls and all the equipment so they can travel lightly!

About: I have had dogs in my life since I was born. I'm very comfortable and confident in giving them love and care! I've helped dog sit for my parents, friends & neighbors. I also had the amazing joy of raising a Boston Terrier to the blessed old age of 15. I helped train him as a puppy and in new ways once he lost his hearing and had memory loss in his senior years. I feel like it's a treat just having a fury presence in the house. My husband and I are both drawn to animals. I feel like they make the world a better place! They certainly add joy to mine! I work from home part-time, so that leaves me plenty of time to walk, play with and snuggle your pups! I'm available for boarding both weekdays and weekends. I have a nice size lot to get your dogs out whenever it is needed and also have many great parks & trails nearby for taking a nice long stroll. I am happy to have pets on furniture and sleep in a bed but also can give them the care they are used to (crate sleeping, dog bed, etc). Most important is that they feel comfortable!

About: Dogs: I have grown up with German Shepherds my entire life. I currently own an elderly one and understand the difficulties of having an elderly dog. But also because I lived with them I learned to handle and read the body language of dogs. I have had a few smaller dogs in my life also so no worries if you own a smaller family member(s) because I'm comfortable with all sizes. (I have also been training dogs for 3+ years and wish to offer that soon!) Cats: My first job as a kid was to watch our kind neighbors cat. Meaning I fed, played and cleaned the litter box. I have also grown up around cats and I own 2 myself Other Animal Family Members: I also have owned many different reptiles, birds and small animals like leopard geckos, snakes, hamsters, guinea pigs, cockatiels and a few others. (So please feel free to reach out if you need a visit for these family members as well). I currently have afternoon times available! I am free from Thursday - Sunday from 11am to 10pm. I am currently in school so I have a very flexible schedule during that time to stop by and care for your family member(s). Your dog or cat is a family member. I will care for them just as you would. If you feel I have not met this, I wish for feedback on how I can do better. I am very communicative if you have any concerns or need updates as the visit goes on please feel free to notify me. If I am concerned about your family member(s) I will openly reach out to make sure you know right away and we can figure out what needs to happen next. My goal is to make you the owner feel comfortable with leaving your family member(s) with me and also have your family member(s) be comfortable with me. Thank you for considering me!

“Alexis was great with my Charlie boy! I was in a pinch and needed a sitter last minute and she saved the day! I could tell from the photos she sent me that Charlie was excited to see her and spend time with her everytime she went to let him out, and her playing with him in the backyard and taking him for walks goes a long way towards making him feel happy when he’s got a little separation anxiety going on. I would absolutely recommend her, and would use her again in the future when I need a helping hand! 🐾”
