About: I've been a dog sitter and walker for various friends for years. I'll treat your dog as if it were my own. Lots of TLC! I work from home in South Minneapolis until 3:30 every business day. I have another side gig that I work Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Other than that I'm flexible. I will not be housing pets in my apartment due to having two cats. Nor will I be dog sitting overnight at any off my clients houses.

Kathryn L.

“Kathryn has always done an amazing job taking care of my dogs. Just provides updates on each visit that helps me feel at ease when I’m away from them. She is amazing.”

Jerome S.

“Jerome watched my two cats for a week. I appreciated the daily updates and pics to let me know they were doing well while I was away. Came home to two happy kitties!”

Breen B.

“Breen has been walking our dogs for their whole lives. We have 3 yorkies aged between 9 and 10 years. They all love him. I cannot more highly recommend him to anyone looking for either visits or walks. He is professional, trustworthy and fantastic with animals.”

Ben K.

“Ben is amazing. He took great care of our kitties, making sure they got needed medicine along with lots of pets and playtime. Ben is an excellent communicator and very reliable, he let us know when he’d be visiting each day and made sure to give us detailed updates about how each cat was doing. We will absolutely book with Ben again- can’t recommend highly enough!”

About: I've had a lifelong love for animals, which began during my upbringing alongside a cherished cat and dog. Fueling this passion, I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Building on that foundation, I delved deeper into the world of veterinary care by advancing to postgraduate studies at the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine, where I earned a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine. My journey hasn't stopped at academia. I've gained invaluable experience through hands-on roles in both general practice and emergency small animal settings. As a veterinary assistant and triage assistant, I've had the privilege of contributing to the well-being of beloved pets, putting my knowledge and empathy to work on a daily basis. With a strong academic background and practical experience, I'm dedicated to providing the best possible care for animals and ensuring their health and happiness. Presently, the majority of my academic commitments are conducted in an online format, with the limited in-person classes necessitating a mere 2 to 3 hours of absence at most. Given this flexibility, the seamless incorporation of animal care responsibilities into any segment of my schedule would be eminently feasible. Ensuring your pet receives the best care possible is my top priority. This includes following your instructions for feeding and watering, making sure your pet stays mentally and physically active, and always respecting their comfort zones. In terms of what daily life would look like for your pet, they would enjoy two walks a day, each lasting about an hour. Of course, the length and frequency of these walks would depend on your dog's ability to move around and their behavior. Inside, they'd have access to the upstairs area of our home, which includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and three spacious living areas. These spaces are equipped with heating and air conditioning to keep your pet comfortable in any weather. Playtime and affection would be in abundance to keep your pet happy. It's important to note that I won't be taking them to off-leash dog parks, as these places can be risky and lead to injuries. Your pet's safety is my main concern.

Jamaica J.

“Jamaica was great! She was quick to respond and sent great updates and pictures of our cat. We will definitely book her again for a future drop in visits.”

About: My wife and I are previous dog and cat owners of different varieties, both small and large. We have a spacious house and yard and are located just blocks away from Powderhorn Park. We often go on walks and would love to care for your pet! We are newer to Rover though, which is why we don't have many reviews yet. We'd love to meet you and your pet! Both of us have the flexibility to work remotely, which makes us flexible and ready to be available at a moments notice. We'd love to chat with you over the phone on specifics too, but we try to maintain flexibility when we need to be in the office or at home. We have multiple security cameras positioned around the house and are sure to lock the doors when we leave. We have a spare bedroom very suitable for anxious pets who need their own space as well. For animals that need attention, we LOVE going on walks and would love to take them with us. Whether your pet loves attention and scratches or just wants to be left alone, we'd gladly take care of them!

Jamie V.
“Jamie is an amazing dog sitter! She has been caring for my dog Greta for more than 7 years and at least 20 stays. Jamie is an experienced dog owner, and I always know that Greta is in good hands. Greta loves her time with Jamie and gets all the love and snuggles. If I can't be with my dog, Jamie is the next best thing!”
