After a few visits with Jackson our dog is now so happy to see him each time! Jackson is one of the very few people our dog allows into our home, as well as to hang out and play with him and leash him for walks (if anyone has dealt with an aggressive dog they know the struggles, so to find someone we can count on for our pup is priceless). About: I had a beagle, Milo, for 12 years. Although I was not around too much at the end for college, I helped out a lot with taking care of him throughout high school. I taught him tricks, took him on walks everyday, learned how to give him a bath, as well as keep him entertained. Lately, I’ve been focusing on interactive simulation puzzles for pets which is something that is shown to be a positive experience for them! I can attend to small and medium dogs, I have the patience and readiness to provide the best care for all dogs alike! Currently a full time student at the University of Pittsburgh, and I am back home for internship. I have some downtime and would love to give back to the animals that give us so much! I’d be able to have a flexible schedule throughout the week and sometimes the weekends. I live in a safe neighborhood near Minnehaha Pkwy and Chicago Ave. Safety is number one priority, weather I’m at home, on the streets, or at a park, I always ensure that the environment is fit for each dog I take care of.

About: I have lived with dogs of various kinds for my entire life, and have taken part in caring for them all. I have also had rodents, reptiles, fish, chickens, and cats in my home. I am comfortable with most dogs; big or small, puppies, adults, elders, pure breeds or mutts, and can care for dogs with special needs as well. I have a certificate in clicker training (positive reinforcement) which I earned in 2024, because I would like to be a professional dog trainer in my future. Bonus: I have experience in the food industry which gives me skill in cleaning and sanitizing. I have no issues cleaning up various kinds of pet messes, and can do it well if the tools are available to me. If you have an odd critter, or a pet with special needs, or have any questions at all, I would love to hear from you. Clients for pet sitting or training can receive a discount for pet sitting and training in the future by leaving a review! Repeat clients are favored here. I am a full time pet parent of a cat and aquarium. For the time being, I do not have regular obligations aside from my pets, so I am free to book more-or-less whenever. I can do longer stays for more needy animals, but may have to leave twice a day to care for my own creatures. I always try to get a list of expectations from clients, such as times to take the dog out or how much to feed them, so that I can be sure to follow the usual routine as closely as possible. I don't engage in any activities that could endanger animals, such as drinking or smoking, and can respect any household rules without complaint. I also have a rule of thumb to avoid anything that could put a pet at risk if I am not 100% sure of the animal's safety. Examples: Off leash walking, feeding new foods, engaging in new kinds of play that may cause injuries, etc.
