“Joanna did a great job checking in on my kitty Peaches. She reliably showed up as promised, communicated well, shared pictures and my cat loved her. She was good at telling with Peaches was in the mood to play or in the mood to cuddle and gave her all the love she craved. I will definitely have Joanna look in on Peaches again in the future. Highly recommend.”

About: Part time nurse, full time dog mom and human mom! 15+ years of experience fostering dogs for a local rescue taught me how to adjust care for different personalities. Our kids are gentle and will lavish your dog with attention or give space if needed. The focus will be giving your pet love, attention, exercise and making him/her feel safe and part of the family. Basic training will be reinforced but behavior modification or advanced training is not my expertise. In this ever changing world, sometimes I enjoy the company of pets more than humans. Their love and devotion is almost undeserved. I’m currently working as a nurse part time so I have flexibility. I don’t have a set schedule, I usually work 2 days/week, so I’m often home and literally just want to hang out with dogs. ;) Even on days when everyone is at work or school (between my husband and my schedule), pets would only be alone for about six hours. Your pet would have free run of the house if desired and be loved and welcomed like our own dog. I love to walk and would enjoy having a furry friend to keep me company. A walk for a dog is important not only for physical activity, but also mental activity and gives them a chance to sniff and explore their world. I won’t rush your dog along. Safety is #1. We have a (small) fenced in yard and a double door to our front entrance for those pets that like to rush to the door. We have plenty of space to accommodate a crate, extra dog beds, whatever would make your pet more comfortable! We can also provide crates depending on size. We are a non smoking home. There are 2 dog obsessed school age kids in the home, (who would only interact with your pet under my close supervision) along with our resident dog. If we needed to take in a pet that did best without other animals, our dog could easily spend some time over at his grandparents house to give your pet needed space.
About: Caring for pets has been a big part of my life for many years. As a professional pet sitter and shelter volunteer with decades of experience, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable and loved while their humans are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always pay close attention to their individual needs, personalities and routines. I offer dog-walking, drop-in visits, daycare, and house sitting, and I'm happy to care for pets of different sizes, ages, and energy levels. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk, or your pet needs company and attention during the day, or you need someone reliable to care for your home and animals while you're away, you can count on me! Pet owners can expect dependable care, lots of affection for their pets, and regular updates with photos for peace of mind. My goal is to make sure your pets stay happy, relaxed and well cared for while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I do like to travel, but otherwise have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time, attention and care they deserve. I'm available for dog walking, drop-in visits, daycare and house sitting throughout the week. I'm also available on weekends and holidays, making it easier for pet owners who need reliable care during busy times or while travelling. I always do my best to accommodate scheduling needs to provide dependable care whenever its needed. Your pet's safety, comfort and happiness are always my top priorities. I understand how important it is for pets to feel secure and relaxed while their humans are away. I provide a calm, caring and attentive environment where pets receive plenty of love, enrichment and supervision. I carefully follow each pet's routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions to make sure they feel comfortable and stress free. Your pet will always be treated with kindness, respect and the same care I would give my own.

Marit has been a regular sitter for our cat for about the past year and a half. Marit takes wonderful care of our girl, is super communicative and responsible, and takes the cutest photos to send to us. Most importantly, our cat adores her! I would highly recommend Marit to anyone interested in a sitter.

Rob did an excellent job taking care of our cat, who can be difficult and standoffish. He was responsive to her needs and followed our directions well, even suggesting slight adjustments to facilitate a better experience for all. We recommend him wholeheartedly!

Rachel is absolutely amazing! She took such good care of my cat Jack. This was my first time leaving him and I was nervous but her communication and genuine love and care to make sure he had a great experience put my mind at such ease. She was even kind enough to do a meet and great before I left him and Jack warmed up to her instantly and I knew he was in great hands! She not only made sure he was fed and taken care of but that he got all the pets and attention his little heart wanted. She sent pictures so I could see how great he was doing and even swept up the litter he tracks around! She went above and beyond for my boy and put this anxious cat mom’s heart and mind at ease. I can’t say enough great things! 10/10 recommend for any one looking for top notch care for your fur babies!
