“Barbara was great. She shared daily updates, made my dog grilled chicken and rice when he wasn't eating, and acommodated a later pick up time when our flight was cancelled. I highly recomend her.”

“McKenzie has been great! Lou Lou comes home thoroughly exhausted and happy. She loves spending time with the other dogs and is always excited when we drive up to her house.”

“Joayne and her kids were great with Frankie. She shared pictures and kept us updated with quick messages about her days. Communication was very clear, making the meet & greet thru pick-up a breeze.”

“Catherine was absolutely wonderful! This was Zuri's first time staying away from home and Catherine went above and beyond to make her feel at home. Catherine sent daily updates and photos, which were much appreciated, and lots of special treats and special love were given. Zuri also enjoyed having another dog to play with, as she is an only child. I would highly recommend Catherine and will definitely use her again.”

“Molly was fantastic, our puppy takes a little extra attention and he couldn’t have returned happier. Molly kept us updated daily and took the best care of our guy. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Jessica and Grant took wonderful care of our golden retriever while we were away. They sent frequent updates and photos and gave her lots of exercise. She was happy and healthy when we picked her up. We would gladly use them again.”

“Jessie was great! She watched my two dogs Violet and Kala and they had a great time and got lots of snuggles. She gave me updates and pictures everyday which really helped put me at ease while I was away.”

“Brenda & family were amazing with Aspen. Aspen felt right at home and happy. I received regular updates and knew she was well taken care of. Highly recommended.”
“Charlie is the best! When our initial Rover was cancelled and we reached out to Charlie, he was incredibly accommodating, kind, and easy to communicate with. Charlie provided great updates, pictures, and really catered to what our dog needed over the weekend. We will be using Charlie in the future!”

“Another great visit with Lan for my Labradoodle, Buddy. As always, she was great, taking special care of my little guy while I was away for nearly three weeks. Really appreciated her flexibility when we needed to adjust our return date. It was so good to know he was in good hands and having so much fun playing with her dog, Lucy.”

“Today I picked up my little part-terrier Nani from a three week stay with Betsy B. Clearly, Nani had a good experience staying with Betsy. In fact, she acted like it was her second home. She also picked up some good habits during her stay, and was more calm than usual on her walk. I intend to use Betsy whenever I need a caregiver for my dog in the future.”

“Our dog, Hems, had such a great time at Doc & Heather's house! We felt so relaxed on our trip knowing Hems was having fun and behaving - thank you for all the great updates and pictures. She got a lot of playtime and attention! Will definitely be booking again for our next trip. Thank you again for a great experience!”

“My dog loved his stay with Saniya. He came back pooped from playing with her dog all weekend. She sent updates and pictures so I knew my dog was safe and happy. I plan to rebook with her soon!”

“Anika always provides peace of mind when watching my dog. She genuinely cares about making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’d absolutely continue using her services.”

“Maya had a great stay with Kiirsten. Drop off and pick up were very smooth. We got multiple updates each day and lots of pictures. We’ll definitely use Kiirsten again.”

“I really can't say enough positive things about Howie. Right before a weekend trip, I was lamenting to a coworker about leaving my dog Norman at doggy boarding for the weekend. At 10 years old, the loud and busy boarding environment has outpaced Norman. Picking Norman up from doggy boarding- you'd think he was escaping from prison--and the net effects of his stay would last way longer. Well, I contacted Howie in the 11th hour, assumed some risk by bypassing a meet and greet, and Norman spent the weekend with Howie and his wife. Howie sent pictures of a very content and happy looking Norman throughout the weekend, and when we picked Norman up, he was as happy and carefree as ever. It's been two days, and I can tell how much Norman was cared for, played with, and attended to. The only downside is Norman's probably wondering where his new friend Howie is. Highly recommend.”

“Holly provided exceptional care for our dog Cali over a week-long trip. Cali has difficultly with transitions and being in new spaces without us, but it was clear Holly provided a very safe and loving home away from home for her—going well above and beyond to make sure she was pampered. We are so grateful for Holly in our lives and would highly recommend her.”

“Ashlie and her family were wonderful hosts to our dog Virgie! She sent texts and photos throughout the week to let us know how she was doing. I definitely recommend Ashlie and will book her again in the future!”

“Clara took excellent care of my kitties while I was away! Great communication and response time. I would recommend Clara for any of your pet sitting needs!”

“Hannah did a great job taking care of my cat! She kept her stimulated with lots of play, communicated clearly and problem-solved when my naughty kitten was getting into things she shouldn’t. I also appreciated her flexibility, taking on a last-minute assignment and then coming back an additional day than we had planned for. I could tell that my picky cat connected with Hannah right away and that she was happy in the photos Hannah sent. We would happily have her back!”

“Christina is the BEST. She went above and beyond for our cat Nim & formed a strong bond with him. He absolutely loves her and Christina is def our new go to sitter. She gave the most detailed updates, gave him his meds & we can tell how much she loved our cat. Thank you so much Christina ❤️ Nim can’t wait to see her again.”

“Allison did a wonderful job caring for our kitties while we were out of town. Even my cat who is scared of most people eventually warmed up to Allison because she is patient and gentle.”

“Darwin was fantastic! This was the first time leaving my cat Ink since he started taking an inhaler and Darwin was so great about making sure he got his treatments every morning. When I got home Ink was happy as could be and we fell right back into our regular routine”

“Aichon was great!! Went above and beyond when there were issues getting into the apartment. Her communication is 10/10 and she sent us some really funny pics of our cat. Would def rebook in the future.”

“Rob did an excellent job taking care of our cat, who can be difficult and standoffish. He was responsive to her needs and followed our directions well, even suggesting slight adjustments to facilitate a better experience for all. We recommend him wholeheartedly!”

“Rachel was awesome! I booked drop-in visits to take care of my cat, Lilos, and she did a great job! We met her to introduce ourselves, show where his litter, food, and toys are, and what he likes (back scratches and his fave toy). He loved her right away! She let me know how their visits went and sent me pics of him. I appreciate her communication with me. 😁 I was nervous about leaving Lilos alone for the first time, but after meeting Rachel and this experience, I'm comfortable knowing he'd be in good hands. I'd book her again. ❤️”

“We can always rely on Jerome and his wife Linda to take great care of our cats. They go above and beyond with care and attention. Our guys love them! And we always get great pictures and updates for every visit.”

“Brooke took WONDERFUL care of my Roo! She is an excellent, considerate communicator, sending detailed updates of Roo’s activities. Roo was happy and relaxed when I returned. THANK YOU, BROOKE!!!”

“Anna was great with our boys. We could tell they were well taken care of and her detailed Rover cards went a long way while we were out of town! We would certainly recommend her and book with her again!”

“Highly recommend! It was obvious from the fabulous photos that Gabriella made my cat feel extremely comfortable and cared for. Her in-depth reports gave me immense peace of mind while I was out of town. Thank you so much!”

“Jennifer is my kitty's favorite sitter! Jennifer groomed, cleaned, played and had a great time with my kitty! We are both so grateful for Jennifer's care!”

“Joanna did a great job checking in on my kitty Peaches. She reliably showed up as promised, communicated well, shared pictures and my cat loved her. She was good at telling with Peaches was in the mood to play or in the mood to cuddle and gave her all the love she craved. I will definitely have Joanna look in on Peaches again in the future. Highly recommend.”

“Marit has been a regular sitter for our cat for about the past year and a half. Marit takes wonderful care of our girl, is super communicative and responsible, and takes the cutest photos to send to us. Most importantly, our cat adores her! I would highly recommend Marit to anyone interested in a sitter.”

“Andy did an incredible job taking care of our two cats while we were away. We got detailed summaries of each visit and lots of cute pictures. She made sure to play with them each time and gave them lots of love. It’s incredibly apparent how much our cats love her. We are so grateful to her and her daughter for helping us. Will absolutely be using her services next vacation.”

“Jessica did a great job watching our cat and taking care of our fish and plants. We got some great photos of our cat while we were gone and Jessica made us feel like our home was in great hands while we were gone.”

“McKenzie is the best thing that’s ever happened for my reactive pup. He is able to go play with other dogs and flourish in her care. She is also skilled with medically needy pups and flexible with her scheduling. The absolute best.”

“So, i was pretty nervous to leave my precious, sick, 4-month-old furbaby with an internet stranger. But we had good conversations beforehand and he had lots of good reviews. Well, the reviews are well deserved! Puppy had a fine time. Howie (and his wife) clearly took great care of her! Would definitely book again. I just need to figure my schedule out.”

“First doggie sitter for our Harper and did we score big time!! Alyson is amazing. Harper came home happy and tired. It must have been a great time!! Thanks Alyson.”

About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.
“Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

“Absolutely incredible experience. Celia was easy to communicate with and sent me pics of my pup throughout the day. I would love to book again - highly recommmend”

“Jen is an absolute rock star! She definitely understands dogs and pack behavior. She basically has her home/yard set up to accommodate dogs—plus she expertly monitors her pack (she has a few of her own dogs and then takes in 2-3)- Trust me when I tell you that she is attentive and aware of their interactions and play styles and she keeps them occupied throughout the day with interactive toys and enrichment activities. I am extremely impressed and confident that she knows how to make a great daycare environment for dogs! My pup had so much fun and was extremely tired after spending the day at her house. Don’t get me started on all the pics and videos and updates she shared throughout the day! And she sent us on our way with home-made dog treats! Add to that an extremely reasonable rate when it’s so expensive out there -and I give her an absolute overall A+ I’m excited to share this review but also kind of want to keep it a secret so she won’t get too overbooked for us in the future!! 🤷🏻♀️🤞😊”

About: Over 20 years experience working with people, their kids, and their pets. We have a fun home with two-work-from-home parents and our 2 year old goldendoodle (no kids). Our days with dogs are spent walking down the creek, playing the backyard, getting pup cups at the ice cream shop and snuggling on the front porch chairs. I work from home with a flexible schedule. Pups aren’t left for more than a few hours a day, if at all! My dog, Bo, is also good company. We have a casual home where dogs are part of the family. With a fenced yard and close access to trails, every dog gets lots of exercise. Our 2-year-old goldendoodle is a good friend and loves to play!
“Jessie took great care of our senior dog! She was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. She sent detailed updates throughout the day and lots of cute photos!”

About: I've had family pets since I was a little girl which adds over 15 years of experience to my repertoire. I have cared for friends and family dogs through walks, baths, and everything in between. Most recently, my roommate and friend got a puppy who is now a full grown doggo! I have taken care of him alongside her, so know how to handle puppies as well. He is like my own dog! I work from home, and am available all day and can always find time after work and on weekends, as long as I have free time and am around on weekends. I have a great work-life balance to fit in dog-sitting and care. Feel free to ask me questions! I live in a spacious apartment in South Minneapolis, with lots of walkability near-by. There is one dog in our apartment, Arlo, who is the sweetest and easiest yellow lab. I currently house-sit regularly for one family and have lots of experience with a variety of animals, such as dogs, cats, chickens, and fish. I can also crate your dog with provided crate. I will listen to your needs and goals to make you and your dog comfy and happy!
About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. In fact, when I was little, I used to tell my mom I wanted to be a dog when I grew up! 😂 My passion for dogs led me to begin fostering in 2019, and since then I've helped around 40 dogs find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, though many of my fosters have been puppy mill survivors who needed extra patience, understanding, and support as they adjusted to life in a home. I've fostered with several wonderful rescue organizations, including Underdog Rescue, MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, Minneapolis Animal Control, and Coco's Heart. Through fostering, I've gained experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I've also fostered blind and deaf dogs. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops and topicals. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I live in a first-floor duplex in South Minneapolis with a fully fenced yard. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior blind Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. My younger dog is a swimmer, so during the summer we love visiting the dog park at Minnehaha Falls. If your dog enjoys adventures, has reliable recall, and you'd be comfortable with it, I'd be happy to bring them along! I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with their people, they're welcome to sleep with me too. While I do take my dogs on walks several times a week, daily walks are not part of our regular routine. If your dog requires daily walks, please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss their needs and make sure we're a good fit. I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. A few things to know before booking: • While I am home most of the time, there are occasional events or commitments that may keep me away for 4+ hours. I will do my best to communicate this ahead of time, but please let me know if your dog cannot be left alone for that length of time so I can confirm my schedule before accepting a booking. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, my home is generally the best fit for dogs who are: • Comfortable in a relatively calm household. Very high-energy dogs can be stressful for my senior dog, who is blind. • Reasonably quiet when left alone. Normal barking at delivery drivers or unfamiliar noises is completely fine. However, because I live in a duplex with shared walls, I am unable to host dogs who bark continuously when alone or throughout the night. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'm always happy to answer questions to help determine if we're the right fit for each other. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. “Marisa did a great job handling three-month-old Basie’s first time away from his home and family. She even took the time to do a meet-and-greet between her dog and Basie ahead of time to make sure they would get along together. She also made sure that Basie had fun and got to do some safe exploring and socializing. I would definitely feel comfortable having her look after Basie in the future.”

“Susie did an amazing job with our pup Quinn! She was very communicative and took great care of our dog. I highly recommend Susie for your pets care!”

“Lucy, our 1yo lab/shepherd mix loved staying with Lydia! Lydia sent photos and updates, so we felt like we knew how things were going. We appreciate that she was well cared for while we were unavailable.”

“Best sitters ever! Couldn’t recommend Karen and Ryan enough. Lambo absolutely LOVES when he goes over to their house and gets the wiggles every time he see them. Just proves how much they care for your dog like their own. They’re very flexible with my schedule and I can’t appreciate that enough.”

“Aimee was great. Patient with our buddy when he was nervous and her yard/house were a good fit for our pup. Good communication. We will reach out to her for daycare again!!”

“Great experience having Robert watch my pup - highly recommended, especially for a high-energy dog. Will definitely be coming to him in the future when I need someone to take care of her while I'm in Minneapolis.”

“Thank you so much to River for watching my 8 month old puppy Griffin. I felt completely comfortable leaving my fur baby in her care, and he came home tired and happy. I’ll definitely be looking to book River for doggy daycare in the future.”

“Alex has been absolutely wonderful! He has been very patient with Finn and allowed him to take his time warming up to him. Alex sends me daily photos which I really appreciate, and has offered to spend more time with Finn outside after noticing that Finn was enjoying it. I plan on continuing to use Alex’s services and highly suggest him!”

“Haidyn is great with my pets! She provides ample exercise, love, and attention while also being very timely in communication. Haidyn has also done great with meeting the needs of my puppy, who isn't fully trained. There are things I'm trying to work on with the pup, and Haidyn does well in being consistent with my training.”

“Paul picked up Abby right on time, and reported that her walk and play time with Nessie went splendidly. The pictures were a great addition. We schedule a redo this week.”

“Joanna was amazing and gave us so many updates on Chi-Chi while we were away. I was so happy she made time to meet us in advance and asked many questions to get to know Chi-Chi better. We came home to a very happy pup! 🐶 🐾 💕 Highly recommend 10/10”

“Jessica is a wonderful dog walker! Our pups are excited to see her every time she comes. She even goes above and beyond and occasionally brings our packages inside when she comes by. We recommend her services highly!”

About: I've grown up with both cats and dogs (and hamsters, gerbils, fish, and parakeets too). My dad was a zoologist major in college and his love of animals definitely passed down to me. I love making sure pets are feeling safe, loved, and lets be honest, a bit spoiled (within reason of course). I currently work at an indoor dog park called Saint Bark. I get the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of dog breeds of all sizes. I love learning the behaviors of each dog and how they play with the other dogs and also people. I'm a freelance artist so I have plenty of day-time or evening flexibility to come in and check on your pets! I'm looking forward to connecting with you! Safety of your pets is my number one priority! I want to make sure that if you have any special instructions for your furry family members that I will be honoring them.
About: I've had 22 years of experience living with and loving black labs in south Minneapolis. I can accommodate dogs of any age. I love to be outdoors and enjoy walking. My work week is full; however, I am fully available on the weekends to dote on your pup. I am a teacher. From mid-August to mid-June my weeks are full. My weekends are open. I'm available over holidays. I am also available throughout the summer. I have a small home with a fenced-in yard and a park within blocks. For the past twelve years, I had a dog, and we walked every day. I greatly miss my companion and would love to shower your dog with lots of love and care.
“I'm so glad that my pup, Cash, and I have Autumn. I was gone for a long time, and it meant a lot that Cash got extra mental stimulation on his walk because of Autumn's extra efforts to do a little training on the walk. She was also above and beyond helpful in tending to some of my particular requests and the logistics of the walk.”

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats my entire life, and can’t think of anything more joyful than having animals around to play with and love on. I work full time from home, and have flexibility to take lots of breaks during the day. We love going on walks, hikes and have two children who also love to help out! We are set up with a crate and/or dog beds if needed, as well as all the other gear that goes along with having furry friends around.
About: The Best Part of Both Our Days After 20+ years in the corporate design leadership world, I am soft retiring and putting my reliability, commitment and energy into helping others and bringing happiness to their pets. With 10 years of dog walking and pet sitting experience, I don’t just show up. I show up for your dog, on their terms. Every dog is different, and I believe in honoring that. Whether your pup likes to stop and sniff every inch of the sidewalk or prefers a brisk, energetic stride, I walk at their pace because a great walk isn’t about the distance, it’s about the experience. I’m comfortable walking multiple dogs at a time, making sure every single one enjoys their walk, gets the attention they deserve and takes care of their business. From the energy of a curious puppy to the gentle needs of a senior dog, I understand that every stage of life comes with its own needs and I embrace all of them with patience and care. But it doesn’t stop at the leash. I genuinely love spending quality time with dogs, whether that’s a relaxed afternoon cuddle on the couch or an enthusiastic play session with their favorite toys. I take the time to learn what makes each dog feel happy, safe, and loved. When you book with me, you’re not just hiring a dog walker or pet sitter. You’re giving your dog their favorite part of the day and honestly, mine too. What I offer: •🐾 Dog Walking at your dog’s pace, never rushed •🏠 Pet Sitting calm, attentive and home-like •🎾 Playtime & Chill Visits toys, attention and all the love •🐶 Puppy & Senior Care patient, experienced and always attentive Your pet is family. I’ll treat them that way! I work a flexible part time schedule three days a week, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pet. I’m happy to work around your routine and adjust my schedule to meet your dog’s needs because your peace of mind matters just as much as their happiness. Whether your dog is most comfortable in their own home or joining me at mine, they will always receive the same attentive, personalized care. At my place, they are welcomed into a calm, quiet home with a fully fenced yard and a friendly 5 year old 25lb Australian Labradoodle who loves making new friends. Your dog’s comfort and happiness always comes first, wherever that may be.
“Darwin is incredibly reliable, and they work very well with our pup Sage. We have been able to rest easy during the work day (and check our pet camera less!), because we know Sage is in good hands with Darwin. They have even taken some time during our booking to reinforce training with Sage!”
