“Catherine and her husband took excellent care of our dog. Very communicative with pics, video and messages. Made us feel very relaxed with the care of one of our family.”

“She is very patient and is understanding & affordable . very nice and kind to my animal I would highly recommend her and looking forward to bringing him for future dog sitting !”

“Barbara was great. She shared daily updates, made my dog grilled chicken and rice when he wasn't eating, and acommodated a later pick up time when our flight was cancelled. I highly recomend her.”

“We were very happy with our first boarding experience with McKenzie for our two golden retrievers. We met with McKenzie before our boarding date. It was very obvious she is caring and has a passion for the dogs she cares for. She is organized, and good communication before and during our dogs stay. Definitely recommend and will return for future boarding.”

“Our pug LOVED his 4-day stay with Brenda and her family! Our little guy got along great with her two pit bulls and really bonded with their little boy. The dogs played and ran together in the fenced in yard. Our pug came home happy and ready to nap. Each day, I received a couple of photos with a brief update which I appreciated. This was a short-notice booking, and I am so grateful that Brenda was available. We will definitely arrange dog-sitting with Brenda in the future.”

“Jessie was great! She watched my two dogs Violet and Kala and they had a great time and got lots of snuggles. She gave me updates and pictures everyday which really helped put me at ease while I was away.”

“I can’t recommend Brooke enough! This was Archie’s first stay with a sitter since our move, and I was honestly so nervous leaving him. From the moment I met her, I knew he was in great hands. She kept me updated throughout his stay, and it was such a relief knowing he was safe, loved, and treated like one of her own. Archie settled in so well, ate all of his meals, and even made himself at home (including sleeping in bed with her 😂), which says so much about the environment she provides. As a flight attendant, finding someone I can truly trust with my dog while I’m away is invaluable, and I’m so incredibly thankful I found Brooke. She is kind, communicative, and genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. Archie came home happy, relaxed, and I already know she’ll be my go-to sitter moving forward. If you’re looking for someone to care for your pet like family, I wholeheartedly recommend her! Thank you again, Brooke! ❤️”

“Maggie and Cooper had a blast with Rikki and Daniel! They were truly “dog people”. She sent updates throughout the weekend and was very easy going and responsive with any questions I had.”
“Jessica and Grant took wonderful care of our golden retriever while we were away. They sent frequent updates and photos and gave her lots of exercise. She was happy and healthy when we picked her up. We would gladly use them again.”

“I don’t think Birdie wanted to come home! It seems like she had a great time at Lan’s house and Lan followed all care instructions to the letter. It was my first time using Rover and Lan made me feel like my gal was in great hands. Thank you!”

“Robert was the BEST Rover we have ever had!!! I cannot recommend him enough 😃 Our dog, Archie, had a great time staying with him and got lots of love, attention, and walkies 🐾 Robert sent such fun updates, pictures, and videos that we loved getting and made us smile so much while away from our little guy 🤍 We will definitely be booking with him anytime we need to board Archie again in the future. I would give him 10 stars if I could ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Amazing time with Ashlie. I loved her updates and great photos of our pup during her week with the family. Much appreciated and hope to book with her again soon!”

“Betsy did an amazing job watching my miniature dachshund. I was originally going to bring him to a boarder, but after doing a test appointment it seemed like a really bad fit. He was very afraid & I definitely would've worried about him the entire time I was gone. I am SO glad I didn't go that route & instead tried out Rover & brought my little dog to Betsy because she was able to provide a comfortable environment for him. She sent updates & photos while I was out of town on a trip, which I loved! I definitely knew my dog was in great hands. Price was reasonable too! Will definitely be using her again in the future!!!”

“Holly was so wonderful! She took the best care of our girl while we were on vacation. She sent lots of pictures and updates and made our dog feel right at home! I would definitely recommend and will for sure book with here again!”

“Winnie had another great stay with Kiirsten! We always know she is in good hands with her, and gets to have a ball running around a big backyard and playing with her kids. Thank you, Kiirsten!”

“Thanks to Howie and Betsy for Fanya's stay last week. I was looking for a family who watches one dog at a time as Fanya is gentle, and can be uncomfortable with several dogs at one time. Howie sent updates and photos at the end of each day (Fanya was there for 5 nights). I feel very comfortable letting Fanya stay with Howie and his family in the future.”

“As a nervous dog mom, I was anxious about leaving Sully with someone new while I was away on a work trip. Thankfully, Charlie’s calm demeanor and clear understanding of dog behavior put both Sully and me at ease right away. Throughout the trip, Charlie was quick to respond whenever I checked in, which gave me peace of mind. I also really appreciated how thoughtful he was in making sure another dog he was sitting would be a good match for Sully—it’s clear he truly cares about the dogs he watches. I’d definitely book with Charlie again!”

“Anika was outstanding and exactly the reason why we use Rover. She let us come for a meet and greet before our trip, and provided daily updates on how our dog was adjusting. It was clear that he was enjoying himself and making himself at home, which gave us the peace of mind to really relax and have a great vacation. Anika was the perfect hostess and we would go back to her without hesitation. Thank you so much for taking great care of Sampson!”

“Clara took excellent care of my kitties while I was away! Great communication and response time. I would recommend Clara for any of your pet sitting needs!”

“Jerome was an awesome petsitter for our shy cats! He and his wife Linda, who is also a cat lover, did drop in visits daily while we were out of the country for 14 days. They were super reliable, even during a big snowstorm, always sending pics and updates. I had no doubt my kitties were being taken care of, and they made extra effort to try different things to get my scaredy cats comfortable with them. And it worked! They had a lot of fun playing with Jerome and Linda and getting scritches every day. Came home to happy kitties.”

“Nick did an AMAZING job with my cat Gracie!! I felt so comfortable knowing he was with her. Truly a wonderful experience. Now Grace expects regular belly rubs and playtime so I have to keep that up, LOL! Thank you so much, Nick!!”

“Darwin did a great job taking care of our two cats while we were gone! He was very responsive and took the extra time to get our shy cats acclimated to him.”

“Aichon was great!! Went above and beyond when there were issues getting into the apartment. Her communication is 10/10 and she sent us some really funny pics of our cat. Would def rebook in the future.”

“Rob did an excellent job taking care of our cat, who can be difficult and standoffish. He was responsive to her needs and followed our directions well, even suggesting slight adjustments to facilitate a better experience for all. We recommend him wholeheartedly!”

“She did a wonderful job with my guinea pigs. She went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of when I was gone. I was nervous about leaving them for an extended period of time as they are older guineas pigs, but she did better than I could have expected. I would highly recommend”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Brooke. My husband and I went overseas and I was very concerned about leaving our kitties with someone that they did not know. Brooke stepped in and took fantastic care of them. She was with them often played with them, took lots of photos and videos of them and they really fell in love with her. I will always use Brooke going forward and never be worried about leaving again. Thanks so much Brooke. You’re awesome.”

“Andy has been so great! She provided detailed updates and a ton of photos of Alice which made it easier to be away knowing my cat was in great hands. She is a great communicator, super thoughtful and went above and beyond!”

“Marit was available on short notice and made sure to fit in play time with my cat during her drop-in visit. I appreciate the updates and photos Marit sends!”

“Andrew is awesome! My cats are prissy and always poo outside the box when I’m away. Andrew went the extra mile and cleaned the tracked litter as well as ensured they were ok. I’d highly recommend Andrew for all your pet care needs while you are away!”

“Gabriella was great with our guinea pigs! We saw she has experience with bunnies and hamsters and knew we could trust her with our boys. She was very responsive, leaving report cards and photos of our guinea pigs behavior and how they were faring. 10/10 would have her sit again.”

“Rachel was awesome. Great communicator. I loved getting her daily updates including multiple pictures of my cat. My cat doesn’t warm to strangers very well but I could tell that she was very comfortable with Rachel from our first meet and greet. I will definitely ask Rachel to care for my cat again.”

“Melanie took such good care of my sweet cat Percival! It’s always so scary entrusting someone else to care for your pet but Melanie was communicative and sent lots of sweet photos and messages after her visits with Percy🤎 Percy enjoyed all of the attention and playtime he received!”

“Sabrina did a perfect job taking care of our 2 energetic and 1 shy cat for 4 days. She's reliable and kept us informed while we were gone. When she dropped off the key 2 days later our cats were happy to see her. I would recommend Sabrina for your pet care.”

“We needed help watching our dog during the day while moving and Sally was great! I got multiple very cute updates of him each day and it seemed like he had a great time playing and running in the backyard. She was also very flexible with drop off and pick up times.”

“Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.

About: Want to get your dog tired out while you're at work? Drop them off at our place and they'll get a play buddy for the day, a mid-day walk, frequent back yard breaks, and plenty of treats and pets. One of us is almost always working from home, and we'd love to host your pup. Our dog's name is Odie. He's 4 years old, and gets along with most dogs. He's a great host and is playful and curious with other generally friendly dogs. Reach out and we can set something up! My partner and I take care of our dog together on a continuous basis. Your pet would be given all of the love, time, and attention that our pet receives. We will select booking dates on days where one or both of us will be home for the entire day. We have a fenced in yard and one fur baby. Odie gets along really well with most dogs. One of us would always be here to monitor the dogs, and we have a simple and effective way of separating them if necessary (a sliding door between the front and back of the house). We give pee breaks and refresh the water bowl frequently. On days we have a dog guest, we provide a 20-30 minute mid-day walk as long as it's not too hot or cold. Otherwise, we go and play with them in the back yard during our lunch break. We are willing to provide one or both meals if they come pre-portioned.
“Jen perfectly met the needs of my two very different dogs (energetic 3mo old puppy, and 5yo grumpy guy). She has a great space for the dogs, and kept me in the loop with photos and videos throughout the day. My puppy came home worn out and happy. I would use her again in a heart beat and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Marisa did a great job handling three-month-old Basie’s first time away from his home and family. She even took the time to do a meet-and-greet between her dog and Basie ahead of time to make sure they would get along together. She also made sure that Basie had fun and got to do some safe exploring and socializing. I would definitely feel comfortable having her look after Basie in the future.”

“Karen and Ryan were fantastic caregivers for our senior dog, Kurt. Great communication before and during the visit. Beautiful home with a wonderful fenced yard. Super flexible with drop off and pick up times. Very friendly and professional. Kurt loved his three days with them. I highly recommend Karen and Ryan for your pet-sitting needs in Minneapolis.”

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. In fact, when I was little, I used to tell my mom I wanted to be a dog when I grew up! 😂 My passion for dogs led me to begin fostering in 2019, and since then I've helped around 40 dogs find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, though many of my fosters have been puppy mill survivors who needed extra patience, understanding, and support as they adjusted to life in a home. I've fostered with several wonderful rescue organizations, including Underdog Rescue, MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, Minneapolis Animal Control, and Coco's Heart. Through fostering, I've gained experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I've also fostered blind and deaf dogs. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops and topicals. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I live in a first-floor duplex in South Minneapolis with a fully fenced yard. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior blind Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. My younger dog is a swimmer, so during the summer we love visiting the dog park at Minnehaha Falls. If your dog enjoys adventures, has reliable recall, and you'd be comfortable with it, I'd be happy to bring them along! I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with their people, they're welcome to sleep with me too. While I do take my dogs on walks several times a week, daily walks are not part of our regular routine. If your dog requires daily walks, please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss their needs and make sure we're a good fit. I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. A few things to know before booking: • While I am home most of the time, there are occasional events or commitments that may keep me away for 4+ hours. I will do my best to communicate this ahead of time, but please let me know if your dog cannot be left alone for that length of time so I can confirm my schedule before accepting a booking. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, my home is generally the best fit for dogs who are: • Comfortable in a relatively calm household. Very high-energy dogs can be stressful for my senior dog, who is blind. • Reasonably quiet when left alone. Normal barking at delivery drivers or unfamiliar noises is completely fine. However, because I live in a duplex with shared walls, I am unable to host dogs who bark continuously when alone or throughout the night. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'm always happy to answer questions to help determine if we're the right fit for each other. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. “Jackson is a really invested dog walker. He’s so good with our pandemic pup who seems to love the attention and walks during the day with him now that we’re all back to work and school and the pup is home alone more often.”

“Haidyn is great with my pets! She provides ample exercise, love, and attention while also being very timely in communication. Haidyn has also done great with meeting the needs of my puppy, who isn't fully trained. There are things I'm trying to work on with the pup, and Haidyn does well in being consistent with my training.”

About: Hi there! I've been an animal lover my whole life and have 20+ years experience caring for both cats and dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. Meal time is the same time everyday and when we have guests we always separate the kids during meal time. Just to be safe.
“I'm so glad that my pup, Cash, and I have Autumn. I was gone for a long time, and it meant a lot that Cash got extra mental stimulation on his walk because of Autumn's extra efforts to do a little training on the walk. She was also above and beyond helpful in tending to some of my particular requests and the logistics of the walk.”

“Charlie loves walking with Tracy. She has a calming and positive nature that helps with his high energy. He watches out the window for her. I really appreciate it, along with her flexibility with my schedule.”

About: Hi, I'm Caitlin! Being a pet parent is special, and I genuinely understand what it means to trust someone with your pet. I lost my 15-year-old dog last year, and that kind of loss changes how you see pet care, and it's exactly why I take this seriously. Every animal in my home gets real attention, a consistent routine, and the kind of care I'd want for my own. My home is a calm, adults-only environment with a fully fenced yard to ensure safe outdoor time, and my neighborhood is a quiet tucked away pocket near Cedar Lake. While I try to board pets only from the same home, there can at times be exceptions (mostly holidays). While my main living area is on one level, there are stairs required to get into the home via the front door. I also welcome & love cats. I've been fostering through Pet Haven for over a year, so I understand what a cat actually needs in a new space (spoiler: it's not just food and good vibes), and how to introduce pets to a decompression space and other pets they are not familiar with. I keep my roster intentionally small so I can give every animal genuine attention, not assembly-line pet care. You'll get photos and updates throughout, so you can actually enjoy your time away. If you want someone who treats your pets the way you would, please send me a message! I'm currently in between jobs, which means I have maximum flexibility for mid-day walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I only confirm stays I can genuinely support. I build the routine around the pet to the best of my ability. I'll ask you what your animal's schedule looks like at home and do my best to mirror it. I know consistency matters! I treat communication as part of the service. You won't wonder how your pet is doing. At my home: As often as possible I try to start every stay with a meet-and-greet so your pet arrives already familiar with the space and with me. I'll ask you in advance about their routine (feeding schedule, walk preferences, any quirks or triggers) and I follow it to the best of my ability. My home is calm, adults-only, and has a fully fenced yard for dogs. For cats, I set up a dedicated decompression space so they can settle in at their own pace. I typically do not take overlapping bookings unless the pets are from the same household, but there are sometimes exceptions. At your home: I follow whatever directions you leave. I'll send photo updates so you know things are normal, and I'll flag anything that seems off rather than wait until you're home. For cats especially, in-home sitting is often the lower-stress option, and after a year of fostering, I know how to read a cat who's fine versus one who isn't.
About: Caring for pets has been a big part of my life for many years. As a professional pet sitter and shelter volunteer with decades of experience, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable and loved while their humans are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always pay close attention to their individual needs, personalities and routines. I offer dog-walking, drop-in visits, daycare, and house sitting, and I'm happy to care for pets of different sizes, ages, and energy levels. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk, or your pet needs company and attention during the day, or you need someone reliable to care for your home and animals while you're away, you can count on me! Pet owners can expect dependable care, lots of affection for their pets, and regular updates with photos for peace of mind. My goal is to make sure your pets stay happy, relaxed and well cared for while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I do like to travel, but otherwise have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time, attention and care they deserve. I'm available for dog walking, drop-in visits, daycare and house sitting throughout the week. I'm also available on weekends and holidays, making it easier for pet owners who need reliable care during busy times or while travelling. I always do my best to accommodate scheduling needs to provide dependable care whenever its needed. Your pet's safety, comfort and happiness are always my top priorities. I understand how important it is for pets to feel secure and relaxed while their humans are away. I provide a calm, caring and attentive environment where pets receive plenty of love, enrichment and supervision. I carefully follow each pet's routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions to make sure they feel comfortable and stress free. Your pet will always be treated with kindness, respect and the same care I would give my own.
“Darwin is incredibly reliable, and they work very well with our pup Sage. We have been able to rest easy during the work day (and check our pet camera less!), because we know Sage is in good hands with Darwin. They have even taken some time during our booking to reinforce training with Sage!”

“Molly truly treats your dogs like they’re her own. She fully embraces their personality, faults, quirks, and all. Anyone would be lucky to have their pets’ taken care of by Molly, they’re in GOOD hands!🤍”

“Catherine and her husband took excellent care of our dog. Very communicative with pics, video and messages. Made us feel very relaxed with the care of one of our family.”

“Saniya did a great job watching our dog Wally! We can tell he felt loved and received a lot of attention and cuddles. Also she was great at sending pictures of the pup. Would highly recommend her!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Doc and Heather! Communication was excellent, all expectations exceeded, and our dog was clearly happy and well cared for. Highly recommend!”

“Helga was amazing! I felt really comfortable leaving Callie with her and could tell she was being well taken care of. Helga sent us photo updates which was really great! We will definitely use her services again in the future.”

“Julie did a great job caring for my dog while we were away for a week. She has a very spacious backyard for dogs to roam and she’s able to give the care and attention your dog needs. I have peace of mind knowing my dog is in good hands when she needs boarding 🙂”

“Would rate ten stars if we could. We have never had to board our pup for longer than two days and we put our full trust in Timm for our nine day trip. It was also our dog's first experience with a cat and Timm made sure that experience went smoothly. Timm also set up a video call well in advance of our pup's stay to assure us of the other pets he'd be staying with and the home he would be staying at. When we arrived, he ran right up to the house and made himself at home. We got several updates throughout our honeymoon and enjoyed all of the photos and videos. We are so grateful for Timm and plan to book with him in the future.”

“Alyson took care of my pup like a member of her family. She was welcoming and flexible when I needed to schedule st the last minute. We will definitely return!”
“Gigi was so great! So nice and Took great care of Bailey. Gave me updates. Quick to get back to me with any questions. Perfect set up for dog sitting. Highly highly recommend!”

“I love Julie and Ben!! They really care about Navi as their own family member and I absolutely love them!!! They are super sweet and they updated me with pictures of Navi!!! I have already booked future dates w them!! Thank you guys again for taking care of Navi!!!!”

“I felt so great about leaving my dog with Emily. We did a meet and greet a month or so before my booking and at the time she was caring for another, older dog. My dog is not as spry as he used to be and knowing that she has experience with other older furry friends gave me additional peace of mind. She was always very prompt to respond during the booking process and scheduling drop off/pick up times. My dog seemed so comfortable and happy in her care, he seemed like he didn't even want to leave when I went to pick him up! Next time I am in need a sitter, Emily's availability will be the first thing I look into!”
