We talked about expectations (we just wanted her to hang out with Remy) and what we expected from her (just to hang out). Day of, she had taken him for a walk (wasn’t required) and sent me some pictures and we just touched base a couple of times to be sure SHE was okay!! Super happy with her and so thankful she was willing to watch Remy while my family gathered for Xmas Eve!”

About: I've loved and taken care of animals since I was about 3 years old. I always asked to be the one to feed the dog before dinner! I have 2 cats, who are my world. I have a lot of experience with dogs, and have a chihuahua named RiotGrrl. I love dogs. My family has always had dogs, and i once lived in a home where I helped care for 6 dogs, a cat and a rat. I have 26 years of pet care and sitting experience. I'm able to do overnight sitting in your home, walks and baths! Meal times too, of course. I would love to make your pup or cat my new fuzzy best friend! I'm currently free full time for pet care! Im available from 6am-8am and again from 1pm to 12am all weekdays and weekends. I'm available for walking and pet sitting for holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas etc). I do same day booking for walks, but require one day notice for stay in sittings. I prefer to watch animals in their own home, so they are the comfiest they can be. My apartment doesnt allow me to board unfortunately. I will completely stick to your pets normal daily schedule while they are in my care.

Marykay is incredibly passionate about animals and possesses a calm and responsible demeanor that immediately put me at ease. She came over to meet Scooch a couple of weeks before her stay, and I knew immediately that I could trust her with my best buddy. Even when there was some miscommunication on my part, Marykay handled it with grace and flexibility. When I returned home, Scooch was happy to see me, but it was clear Marykay had taken care of him well. Knowing that Scooch was in such good hands made my time away stress-free.”

About: Hi! I'm Lauryn. I've spent the my career working in outdoor education and social services. From navigating housing or education goals, to leading rock climbing trips, I love to be a part of creating more interconnectedness in the lives of others. I have always had a deep love of the animals & the outdoors as I grew up caring for cats, dogs, and many other creatures. Instead of watching cartoons I watched animal planet whenever I wasn't playing outside. Animals, especially our pets, are crucial parts of our families and I am happy to provide what brings them joy such as long walks outside, food, & companionship. Aside from working in outdoor education, I'm passionate about surfing, climbing, all things art/design, and making a lasting positive impact in this world. I’m very active so I love to bring dogs on walks in the morning and afternoon! My work is done remotely so I am around for daytime cuddles, walks, and bathroom breaks. Home for me is a sanctuary so I am very respectful of other people’s homes. I love to keep pets comfortabke and loved in a routine that feels familiar to them while their parents are away.

She prioritized the needs of my dog over anything else such as allowing her to sleep in the bed with her, run all car errands with her and she even snuck in extra walks. After Kristin left my dog bevo was standing at the door for a good hour 🤣 thanks Kristin for treating bevo like part of your family!!!”
