House Sitting Regina

“Sabrina came to do a meet and greet with my dog and cat beforehand which I really appreciated. On the first day of her housesitting for the weekend, my dog was not warming up and was feeling threatened, giving warning signs etc. This had never happened before and was upsetting for me, but Sabrina was extremely understanding and willing to work to find a solution. A friend came over with their dog who knows mine well, and was able to facilitate a re-intro which made my dog much more comfortable. She went above and beyond in this situation to see the housesitting commitment through even amidst a challenging circumstance.”

“We didn't know Julie beforehand except for doing a brief meet-and-greet, but she stayed at our house with our small dog for a long weekend when we were traveling, and did a great job. I always worry about my little pup who is very shy and attached to my wife and me, and has a hard time warming up to other people. She was shy and probably confused at first, since this was only the second time we left her for the weekend, but she clearly warmed up to Julie after the first day. Julie was great about promptly responding to our messages asking how things were going, and sending pictures and videos. She kept our house very clean and even took out the trash and washed our bedding before we got home. I would definitely hire her again!”

We came home to a very happy and well cared for pup! She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures and updates. We would recommend her in a heartbeat and definitely plan to ask her back again!”

About: Hi! I'm Lauryn. I've spent the my career working in outdoor education and social services. From navigating housing or education goals, to leading rock climbing trips, I love to be a part of creating more interconnectedness in the lives of others. I have always had a deep love of the animals & the outdoors as I grew up caring for cats, dogs, and many other creatures. Instead of watching cartoons I watched animal planet whenever I wasn't playing outside. Animals, especially our pets, are crucial parts of our families and I am happy to provide what brings them joy such as long walks outside, food, & companionship. Aside from working in outdoor education, I'm passionate about surfing, climbing, all things art/design, and making a lasting positive impact in this world. I’m very active so I love to bring dogs on walks in the morning and afternoon! My work is done remotely so I am around for daytime cuddles, walks, and bathroom breaks. Home for me is a sanctuary so I am very respectful of other people’s homes. I love to keep pets comfortabke and loved in a routine that feels familiar to them while their parents are away.
