About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had a love for pets of all kinds. Growing up, I cared for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, turtles, and more, which gave me an appreciation for each animal’s unique personality and needs. Over the years, I’ve regularly pet sat for friends and family ensuring the loved ones received plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, sticking to a routine, or simply providing companionship, I enjoy helping pets feel comfortable and cared for. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m currently on a career break and based at home for the summer before heading abroad again later this year. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for consistent, reliable pet care. I’m used to being adaptable from long-term travel, and I enjoy having structure and responsibility in my day-to-day routine. Pet sitting fits perfectly into this chapter by giving me a meaningful way to stay active, grounded, and local while doing something I genuinely enjoy. Because my schedule isn’t tied to a traditional job at the moment, I’m able to prioritize drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays, and give pets my full attention while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent, calm, and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, litter box care, medication if needed, and any specific preferences your pet has. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, whether they’re social and playful or more independent and shy, and I adjust my approach so they feel safe and comfortable with me in their space. I always move at the pet’s pace and focus on building trust rather than forcing interaction. In addition to direct pet care, I keep the home tidy and respectful: cleaning up after pets, refreshing water, maintaining litter boxes, and leaving the space as I found it. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.
