I’ve cared for animals of all kinds since I was 8 I was raised with dogs and cats but have also had reptile, aquatic, rodent, and bird experience. Mostly shelter volunteer and in-home work, I’m passionate about animal welfare and care. I respect different pet parenting styles and won’t overindulge or overstep my duties as a caretaker. I Also believe in leaving any space I’m in just as or nicer than I found it, as nobody should come home from a vacation to a messy home or chores to do.

Safety, trust & environment
I like to get to know the animal in a neutral territory on leash first typically, and build trust with them via walks closer to their home/familiar area especially if they have any new people reactivity. I prefer to work with dogs on leash unless they are in their own home, with the exception of a high fenced yard as I have met both runners and jumpers. Most of my experience has been in-home care for pets and they often do best on their familiar spaces

Terrific. Can not say enough nice things about Bonnie! She kept me updated daily and has won over my rather anxious dog. She is a wonderful animal/house sitter.
Bonnie was super flexible for us with my flight being canceled and having to leave later. She’s been a phenomenal sitter and I’m so glad we found her!
This was our first experience with Rover, and Bonnie was incredible! She did a great job with our pets, and was especially caring with our dog's paw issue. Bonnie was a great sitter for our dog. We got daily updates with pictures, where our dog looked cared for and happy and when we came home, the house was very clean! We will definitely book with Bonnie again!

Schedule
I currently am working as a youth dance and gymnastics instructor so my afternoons and evenings will be a bit more busy. I will not be as available for doggos with 3+ walks and higher needs pets that need me in the house more often then not during the day or that have very strict feeding schedules for the evening. I do my best to keep my hours and availability updated on my calendar here on rover so please do reference that before submitting the booking requests.
