About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. In fact, when I was little, I used to tell my mom I wanted to be a dog when I grew up! 😂 My passion for dogs led me to begin fostering in 2019, and since then I've helped around 40 dogs find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, though many of my fosters have been puppy mill survivors who needed extra patience, understanding, and support as they adjusted to life in a home. I've fostered with several wonderful rescue organizations, including Underdog Rescue, MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, Minneapolis Animal Control, and Coco's Heart. Through fostering, I've gained experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I've also fostered blind and deaf dogs. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops and topicals. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I live in a first-floor duplex in South Minneapolis with a fully fenced yard. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior blind Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. My younger dog is a swimmer, so during the summer we love visiting the dog park at Minnehaha Falls. If your dog enjoys adventures, has reliable recall, and you'd be comfortable with it, I'd be happy to bring them along! I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with their people, they're welcome to sleep with me too. While I do take my dogs on walks several times a week, daily walks are not part of our regular routine. If your dog requires daily walks, please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss their needs and make sure we're a good fit. I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. A few things to know before booking: • While I am home most of the time, there are occasional events or commitments that may keep me away for 4+ hours. I will do my best to communicate this ahead of time, but please let me know if your dog cannot be left alone for that length of time so I can confirm my schedule before accepting a booking. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, my home is generally the best fit for dogs who are: • Comfortable in a relatively calm household. Very high-energy dogs can be stressful for my senior dog, who is blind. • Reasonably quiet when left alone. Normal barking at delivery drivers or unfamiliar noises is completely fine. However, because I live in a duplex with shared walls, I am unable to host dogs who bark continuously when alone or throughout the night. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'm always happy to answer questions to help determine if we're the right fit for each other. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. “Karen was super friendly and took great care of Rue! She had so much fun playing with the pup that Karen watches on a regular basis. Just reached out to book again!”

“Marisa did a great job handling three-month-old Basie’s first time away from his home and family. She even took the time to do a meet-and-greet between her dog and Basie ahead of time to make sure they would get along together. She also made sure that Basie had fun and got to do some safe exploring and socializing. I would definitely feel comfortable having her look after Basie in the future.”

“Jessie took great care of our senior dog! She was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. She sent detailed updates throughout the day and lots of cute photos!”

“Aimee was great. Patient with our buddy when he was nervous and her yard/house were a good fit for our pup. Good communication. We will reach out to her for daycare again!!”

“Izsabella was a wonderful host for my pup. She and her respectful dog Willy made Ted feel included and cozy. Izsabella was very communicative, transparent and friendly. I felt at ease leaving my dog with her and will do this again soon.”

“Jen is an A+ dog sitter with clear knowledge of canine behavior and psychology..This, in addition to creating an enjoyable and interactive play experience for the pups she hosts on a regular basis. She knows how to group together dogs with similar play patterns and personality traits. She considers size and vulnerabilities. I trust her wholeheartedly to watch my beloved best friend! She really saved us when I was struggling with my new adoptee! I now have a well adjusted happy girl after socializing her a couple times a week in Jen’s care! She’s the best!”

“Cleo had a great time with Timmothy!! I loved his updates through the day and he asked many questions beforehand to make sure he understood how to care for her :)”

“Haidyn is great with my pets! She provides ample exercise, love, and attention while also being very timely in communication. Haidyn has also done great with meeting the needs of my puppy, who isn't fully trained. There are things I'm trying to work on with the pup, and Haidyn does well in being consistent with my training.”

“Lauren is such a wonderful person! Very personable, great communication, and she took such great care of my dog Skylar. They went for an hour-long walk around my neighborhood. Skylar looked so happy and was perfectly tired from the exercise. Highly recommend Lauren and will definitely book again!”

About: I've had 22 years of experience living with and loving black labs in south Minneapolis. I can accommodate dogs of any age. I love to be outdoors and enjoy walking. My work week is full; however, I am fully available on the weekends to dote on your pup. I am a teacher. From mid-August to mid-June my weeks are full. My weekends are open. I'm available over holidays. I am also available throughout the summer. I have a small home with a fenced-in yard and a park within blocks. For the past twelve years, I had a dog, and we walked every day. I greatly miss my companion and would love to shower your dog with lots of love and care.
“Alex has been absolutely wonderful! He has been very patient with Finn and allowed him to take his time warming up to him. Alex sends me daily photos which I really appreciate, and has offered to spend more time with Finn outside after noticing that Finn was enjoying it. I plan on continuing to use Alex’s services and highly suggest him!”

“Molly truly treats your dogs like they’re her own. She fully embraces their personality, faults, quirks, and all. Anyone would be lucky to have their pets’ taken care of by Molly, they’re in GOOD hands!🤍”

About: Hi there! I've lived with and taken care of dogs for several years in the past. For past two and a half years, I helped my partner take care of Bobby, a VERY anxious 60 lb Shepherd mix, who needed medication, loved to give lots of licks, and calmed down specifically to jazz music. Ollie was a small (40 lb) shepherd mix, with a high prey drive -- while she'd try to get pets from anyone and everyone, we'd usually avoid other dogs on walks so she wouldn't get leash aggressive. Sadly, I've since moved away and can't have a dog in my current apartment, so I'd love to spend time with yours! I promise I'll be like the loving dog auntie your pet has always wanted. I'm patient, caring and responsible, and I'll do my absolute best to keep you and your pet happy and taken care of! I'm also covid safe, having been vaccinated and double boosted. Please do let me know if you have any special needs, requests, or questions at all! I am a remote worker with a very flexible schedule, and will be working from home with your pets :) I always follow whatever rules and procedures you may have for your pet, and always make sure to be respectful of your home as well! I'm currently working from home with a very flexible work schedule, so I'm available to be there for your pet. This is especially helpful if your pet has a daily routine that you'd like to stick to, as I'll most likely be able to accommodate. I do not personally board pets, but prefer to keep them in their homes, where they're most comfortable. I think this helps ensure that they have the best experience possible while you're away.
“Autumn helped us out on very short notice and was great with our pup! Thoughtful questions, great communication, and sent us a few pictures with an update each day. Would highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats so I am versatile, bringing the silly to the park or the calm to the rest time. Would love to get to know you and your furry family members! I'm currently at home with my baby so I'm fairly flexible with my schedule. As long as I'm not nursing, I can pop over to give your fur babies some love! Before I meet your little buds, I want to have a thorough conversation with you about your expectations, pet, and home. If possible, I'd like to stop by while you're home to be introduced to your pet and get a tour. Communication is key and I want you to trust that your pet is getting the best care!

“Madisen has been so wonderful with my dogs! I trust her completely to take great care of them. She keeps me updated and sends lots of adorable photos too. I’d recommend her to anyone!”

“Molly is the best! For the first time I left my small shy dog with her for five days and four nights. He did very well! She was very flexible and adapting to his schedule and needs. And thanks to her nice lab, Eddie, for making my Ziggy feel at home.”

“5 stars for Jessica and her husband! They took such great care of my dog, Frankie. She was very communicative and provided lots of updates and pictures. Jessica was even sweet enough to come to pick Frankie up to save me time as I got ready for my trip. Frankie got plenty of walks and snuggles and was in great hands while I was away. We will definitely be using them again for future care!”

“Robert was great with our family dog Izzy. “I don’t truly think I could have left my pup, Coti, with a better person. I had to urgently run home for a few weeks to help my family and she was so accommodating, responded quickly, and sent me daily updates. Coti experienced some extra issues during his stay (probably because he’s just anxious in his nature) and Celia took such good care of him, picking up and cooking him chicken and rice so he would feel better and keeping me in the loop. I am very grateful for the peace of mind she gave me and I know Coti loved his stay. Thank you Celia!”

“Amanda and Leif are absolutely amazing!!!! They responded to us so quickly to doggy-sit our Rott/Shepherd mix (Bear) while we went on a family vacation. They asked all the appropriate questions and it was very clear they wanted to make Bear feel at home while we were away. They were responsive, flexible, communicative, and so friendly!! We got several picture updates while on our trip and it made us feel so comfortable with being away. Bear looked so comfortable and happy in the pictures. He was taken on so many walks and played with… We could tell he was shown so much love! When we picked him up, he was still giving love to Amanda! And she was soooo great in the information she shared with us and it reassured us that they all had a great time together. We are so thankful as this is our first Rover experience with Bear. Because of how awesome Amanda and Leif were, we are totally going to be back! If you’re thinking of booking your pup to be with them, absolutely do!!”

“Rikki and Daniel (and kids) took great care of my dog. She got lots of walks and playtime and snuggles, and I got lots of photos while I was away! I would recommend!”
