Treats Every Animal Like His Own

***NEW SCHEDULE: Weekday Evenings after 6PM are free, overnights are fine, but I would be away for work. Weekends always free. Rates are negotiable, I’m reasonable. Thanks!*** - Love all animals like their my own; My favorite breed for dogs are Golden Retrievers and Labradors. Love the Golden and Labra Doodles as well! - Self-titled GOLDEN RETRIEVER SPECIALIST! I can not get enough of Goldens, I had three growing up: Duncan, Murray, and Henry. All had distinct personalities. Duncan thought he was a human. Murray is anxious, moody, and very goofy. Henry is energetic, attention obsessed, pathologically loyal, and can chase a tennis ball (on land or thrown into a lake) for HOURS. They inspired my love of dogs. - I can handle dogs of any size for walks/overnights, I've walked dogs as small as toy Italian Greyhounds and Shihtzus, all the way to Burmese Mountain Dogs and Great Danes. - Genuine, vigilant, and experienced walker and sitter. - Experience primarily with dogs, many cats as well. - Pride myself on excellent communication and thoughtful updates. - Have experience caring for animals that need special love (Elderly, Separation Anxiety, Blind and or Deaf, Medication Dependent, Insulin Injections, and more!) - Will truly bond with your furry companions, providing insight in personality and temperament. - Historically do very well with dogs regardless of their “Male Stranger Danger”. - I take direction very well, and will consult with clients about any specific tasks they may need for their pets or their home (Such as bringing the mail in, watering plants, letting in maintenance or cleaning workers etc.) - As long as the dog is comfortable in the rain or snow, I’ll be the same. Have appropriate gear for rain or shine.

Robbie did a great job watching our little pooch! He was super understanding about our puppy’s energy and we felt really comfortable with him! Highly recommend.

Kind, caring and responsible. Robbie was a great communicator and we came home to happy relaxed dogs. We definitely plan to hire him for future trips.

Robbie was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond. Will definitely be asking him to sit for me in the future. Thanks so much!

Rob is the best dog walker I've ever had. He truly loves his canine friends! He provides honest, caring, and even humorous updates on how his visits go. He even gave attention to my cat when it technically wasn't his purpose for the trips. Both my animals loved him. My dog would get the zoomies every time Rob specifically came over. Not only is he great with pets, but he's a respectful, humble, honest young man. It would be a mistake to not have him on your team.

Rob is always great with my 12-year-old golden doodle Russel. He walks him while I’m at work and stays with him when my wife and I are out of town. He takes great care and attention to Russel’s needs as a senior dog. He gives fun, detailed updates about their walks complete with pictures and fun anecdotes. We fully recommend him as a dog walker and sitter for your furry friends.

Schedule

I do work from home most days, which means I can give your dog a 15 minute walk every 2 hours so they can do their business as well as a 30 minute walk around 2pm to let them get some more energy out until the evening when I can give your dog a longer walk and all of my attention and love. I can have food placed out at anytime in the day regardless of me working. I have experience with scheduled insulin injections as well as long as the owner lays out specific times.

Preferences In Breed: I love all dogs, regardless of breed. Having said that I am a self-titled Golden Retriever Specialist. I grew up with three Goldens and have loved each one with a passion. In my previous work, I've found that Labs have similar qualities and have grown to be a favorite of mine as well. Doodles (Lab or Golden) fall into this category as well. I love medium sized pups, always been my favorite. - Having said the above, I have taken care of dogs of all sizes from the King Charles Spaniel to the Great Dane. I've never had any issues with a dog that was related to their size. What I Ask About The Dog Before Sitting: - How does your dog react to other dogs while you walk them, do they ignore them, do they just bark, do they pull, and or do they act reactive? *I've walked dogs that are "Other Dog Reactive", it's not an issue, just something I would like to be aware of in case we encounter other dogs. - Has your dog had any history of biting, and if so what were the circumstances? Provoked, unprovoked, fear-based, etc. - Is your pup up to date on their shots and what vet would you prefer in case of an emergency? - Is there anything that would cause your pup to become fearful or upset? (I.E. Postal Workers, specific dog that your pet has had run-ins with, thunderstorms, etc.) - Does your dog have any medical needs? (Medication [Injected, Oral, Etc.) , Blindness, Deafness, Elderly, Physical Injury, Amputee, etc.) - Finally, does your dog like to play? If so, what are his favorite toys or activities?
