About: I've had 22 years of experience living with and loving black labs in south Minneapolis. I can accommodate dogs of any age. I love to be outdoors and enjoy walking. My work week is full; however, I am fully available on the weekends to dote on your pup. I am a teacher. From mid-August to mid-June my weeks are full. My weekends are open. I'm available over holidays. I am also available throughout the summer. I have a small home with a fenced-in yard and a park within blocks. For the past twelve years, I had a dog, and we walked every day. I greatly miss my companion and would love to shower your dog with lots of love and care.

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. In fact, when I was little, I used to tell my mom I wanted to be a dog when I grew up! 😂 My passion for dogs led me to begin fostering in 2019, and since then I've helped around 40 dogs find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, though many of my fosters have been puppy mill survivors who needed extra patience, understanding, and support as they adjusted to life in a home. I've fostered with several wonderful rescue organizations, including Underdog Rescue, MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, Minneapolis Animal Control, and Coco's Heart. Through fostering, I've gained experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I've also fostered blind and deaf dogs. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops and topicals. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I live in a first-floor duplex in South Minneapolis with a fully fenced yard. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior blind Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. My younger dog is a swimmer, so during the summer we love visiting the dog park at Minnehaha Falls. If your dog enjoys adventures, has reliable recall, and you'd be comfortable with it, I'd be happy to bring them along! I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with their people, they're welcome to sleep with me too. While I do take my dogs on walks several times a week, daily walks are not part of our regular routine. If your dog requires daily walks, please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss their needs and make sure we're a good fit. I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. A few things to know before booking: • While I am home most of the time, there are occasional events or commitments that may keep me away for 4+ hours. I will do my best to communicate this ahead of time, but please let me know if your dog cannot be left alone for that length of time so I can confirm my schedule before accepting a booking. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, my home is generally the best fit for dogs who are: • Comfortable in a relatively calm household. Very high-energy dogs can be stressful for my senior dog, who is blind. • Reasonably quiet when left alone. Normal barking at delivery drivers or unfamiliar noises is completely fine. However, because I live in a duplex with shared walls, I am unable to host dogs who bark continuously when alone or throughout the night. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'm always happy to answer questions to help determine if we're the right fit for each other. I currently dog walk a sweet 5 year old Boxer-mix weekly, but I’m excited to add more animals to my schedule. About: I’ve taken care of cats my whole life, from kittens to seniors, and since I was 12 I’ve watched my friends and neighbors dogs as well. I’ve given both cats and dogs medication as well as bottle fed them if they were too young for solid food. I have an incredibly flexible hybrid work schedule! Whatever you or your pets needs, I will be able to meet them without any work conflicts. You know your pet better than anyone. Whatever instructions you give me to keep them safe, happy, and healthy, I promise to follow exactly. About: Hi, I'm Caitlin! Being a pet parent is special, and I genuinely understand what it means to trust someone with your pet. I lost my 15-year-old dog last year, and that kind of loss changes how you see pet care, and it's exactly why I take this seriously. Every animal in my home gets real attention, a consistent routine, and the kind of care I'd want for my own. My home is a calm, adults-only environment with a fully fenced yard to ensure safe outdoor time, and my neighborhood is a quiet tucked away pocket near Cedar Lake. While I try to board pets only from the same home, there can at times be exceptions (mostly holidays). While my main living area is on one level, there are stairs required to get into the home via the front door. I also welcome & love cats. I've been fostering through Pet Haven for over a year, so I understand what a cat actually needs in a new space (spoiler: it's not just food and good vibes), and how to introduce pets to a decompression space and other pets they are not familiar with. I keep my roster intentionally small so I can give every animal genuine attention, not assembly-line pet care. You'll get photos and updates throughout, so you can actually enjoy your time away. If you want someone who treats your pets the way you would, please send me a message! I'm currently in between jobs, which means I have maximum flexibility for mid-day walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I only confirm stays I can genuinely support. I build the routine around the pet to the best of my ability. I'll ask you what your animal's schedule looks like at home and do my best to mirror it. I know consistency matters! I treat communication as part of the service. You won't wonder how your pet is doing. At my home: As often as possible I try to start every stay with a meet-and-greet so your pet arrives already familiar with the space and with me. I'll ask you in advance about their routine (feeding schedule, walk preferences, any quirks or triggers) and I follow it to the best of my ability. My home is calm, adults-only, and has a fully fenced yard for dogs. For cats, I set up a dedicated decompression space so they can settle in at their own pace. I typically do not take overlapping bookings unless the pets are from the same household, but there are sometimes exceptions. At your home: I follow whatever directions you leave. I'll send photo updates so you know things are normal, and I'll flag anything that seems off rather than wait until you're home. For cats especially, in-home sitting is often the lower-stress option, and after a year of fostering, I know how to read a cat who's fine versus one who isn't.

About: I thought we were a little crazy adopting a dog at the ripe age of 22, but it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. My partner (Connor Lee) and I have had Odie for almost three years now, and we love how he has transformed our life. Our dog is our world, and you can rest assured that we will take care of your pet like our own. My partner and I take care of our dog together on a continuous basis. Your pet would be given all of the love, time, and attention that our pet receives. We will select dates available for booking on days where one or both of us will be home at least 80% of the day. We have a fenced in yard and one fur baby. Odie gets along with most dogs. In the event the chemistry isn't there, we can have the dogs separated via a sliding door situated in the middle of our home. If they do get along well, they will simply hang out with one or both of us while we work, and get regular pee breaks and play sessions in the back yard. It's possible one of us would have to leave before the other got home (A time period that would never exceed 2 hours), and for that reason we would prefer you bring their kennel. If you're confident in their ability to sit peacefully for that amount of time, that would also be okay.

About: I've grown up with both cats and dogs (and hamsters, gerbils, fish, and parakeets too). My dad was a zoologist major in college and his love of animals definitely passed down to me. I love making sure pets are feeling safe, loved, and lets be honest, a bit spoiled (within reason of course). I currently work at an indoor dog park called Saint Bark. I get the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of dog breeds of all sizes. I love learning the behaviors of each dog and how they play with the other dogs and also people. I'm a freelance artist so I have plenty of day-time or evening flexibility to come in and check on your pets! I'm looking forward to connecting with you! Safety of your pets is my number one priority! I want to make sure that if you have any special instructions for your furry family members that I will be honoring them.

About: **I do not offer boarding services for dogs** I have owned dogs and cats my whole life and am a huge animal lover. I have been a service dog handler for 6 years. My service dog is Brutus, he is a 7 year old german shepherd. I have had him his entire life, I started training him when he was 4 months old. We started specialized service training when he was 1 years old. We worked with trainers together for 3 years and I have handler trained him for 2 years. I have helped my friends and family train their dogs for 3 years. My dog does amazing with cats and dogs! I have owned and cared for many cats throughout my life. I am very adaptable and can accept short notice bookings. Cats and dogs are allowed access to the entire apartment. I ask owners bring litter and food but am able to provide it if you are unable. I have worked with young kittens/puppies, seniors, special needs cats, high energy cats and dogs, and cats with all sorts of personalities. I live in an apartment and will take your dog out multiple times a day. I am home all day, your little buddy won’t be alone at any time. I am able to accept same day bookings and same day cancellations. Due to my living arrangements I can not accept dogs that struggle with excess barking. I do not work due to disability and have open availability ***I ONLY OFFER CAT BOARDING*** I can board up to 4 cats in my home for as long as needed. My dog is good with cats and has lived with them most of his life. I will update you daily with photos/videos. I provide toys, scratching posts, and will shower your kitty with attention. I ask you bring food and litter. My dog does great with cats and is friendly with them. He respects their boundaries and leaves them alone. He’s the same way with other dogs. I will follow feeding and care schedules. During daycare services with your dog I will ensure they get outside multiple times a day, and are safe and taken care of. I live near a large dog park and several walking trails. I will follow your cats care routine and schedule. I am home most of the day and can provide around the clock care and attention. I have toys, scratching boards, and a supply of litter/food for cats. I do not currently own a cat but have owned many throughout my life.

Haidyn has also done great with meeting the needs of my puppy, who isn't fully trained.
