I am big on communication and enjoy sending updates, photos and videos while caring for fur babies. I work a very flexible job that allows me to be in and out of the house each day. Communication is paramount for me - prior to beginning services I will get to know you and your pet(s), and we will discuss your priorities and expectations to ensure a positive experience for your fur baby. At this time I am only offering services at clients’ homes. I have several references available for your peace of mind. I enjoy sending multiple detailed updates throughout the day, with pictures or videos as well! Comfortable administering medication and providing puppy, kitten, or senior pet care.

Henry is energetic, attention obsessed, pathologically loyal, and can chase a tennis ball (on land or thrown into a lake) for HOURS. They inspired my love of dogs. - I can handle dogs of any size for walks/overnights, I've walked dogs as small as toy Italian Greyhounds and Shihtzus, all the way to Burmese Mountain Dogs and Great Danes. - Genuine, vigilant, and experienced walker and sitter. - Self-titled GOLDEN RETRIEVER SPECIALIST! Have appropriate gear for rain or shine. I do work from home most days, which means I can give your dog a 15 minute walk every 2 hours so they can do their business as well as a 30 minute walk around 2pm to let them get some more energy out until the evening when I can give your dog a longer walk and all of my attention and love. I can have food placed out at anytime in the day regardless of me working. I have experience with scheduled insulin injections as well as long as the owner lays out specific times. I'm in a new apartment, but as far as safety goes anything that could be harmful to even an infant is stowed away. All medications would be locked in a cabinet in my bathroom which would be shut.

About: Hi! my name Juliana. As an experienced pet caretaker, I have the knowledge and skills that make me the perfect choice for taking care of your pet! I have taken care of both family and friend’s pets ( cats and dogs) and I understand the importance of providing attentive and loving care to make sure they are comfortable and happy. As a Dachshund owner myself, I know how important it is to follow routines and keep in mind specific needs. You can trust that I will provide your furry friend/child with the same level of care and attention that I give my own. Currently my schedule is limited because I don’t work from home, except for Fridays. Therefore, I’m available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for walks and drop ins. I can easy walk your dog and provide the exercise they need around the North Loop / Downtown Minneapolis area. For cat owners, I can provide visits to make sure food and litter are taken care of. Additionally, I volunteer at Minneapolis Animal Care & Control with both cats and dogs, which has helped me to understand behaviors and how to manage difficult situations.

I started on Rover about 6 years ago after leaving my job at a doggy daycare, and have decided to return to Rover after working as a veterinary technician in a high-paced clinic for the past 4 years! When working in a clinic setting I primarily handled patients undergoing anesthesia, but also worked closely with doctors providing care to patients as young as a few weeks up to 20+ years of age. This position taught me how to administer medications, safely handle animals, clean up biohazards, how to win over cats with spicy temperaments, and enjoy working with a wide array of pet personalities. I am comfortable working with any breed (dogs and cats!) of any activity level, and am looking forward to meeting your kiddos! I am currently working Rover as my full-time job while starting up school part time this fall, so I am usually quite flexible fitting your needs into my schedule! While I am not able to board any animals at my home at this time, I am extremely comfortable dropping by your home multiple times a day to ensure your animals are getting the attention they need.
