About: I grew up with dogs and love spending time with them. I’m excited to give your dog a safe space and play with them! I don’t currently have a pet of my own so I love dog sitting. Flexible during each day of the week and flexible during work hours as well. Please give notice when scheduling or canceling a time with me. I live in an apartment with a lot of green space and parks around. Plenty of dog friendly walking. I’m comfortable adjusting to your homes environment as well to ensure the dogs needs are met.

I can easy walk your dog and provide the exercise they need around the North Loop / Downtown Minneapolis area. For cat owners, I can provide visits to make sure food and litter are taken care of. Additionally, I volunteer at Minneapolis Animal Care & Control with both cats and dogs, which has helped me to understand behaviors and how to manage difficult situations.

About: I am a very loving person who has ALWAYS adored animals. My first very pets were two kittens named Tiger and Amy - who were brother and sister - and ended up having a litter together. I also had a dog named Sunshine who was a very energetic golden retriever. I took her on walks around our neighborhood and to the park for fetch and frisby. Most recently my parents got a puppy named flowers who is now almost 2 years old. I fed him, watched him when my parents were gone, took him for walks and did some training with him. Animals get a nice feeling around me and warm up to me fairly quickly. I am open to all dog types. Much love.

About: I've lived with animals my entire life and have been taking care of my own since I was about 7 years old. I've had a few dogs in my family: a chihuahua, shar pei, golden retriever, pomeranian, dachshund, and a chow chow; with experience from puppies to seniors. Cats have also been a constant throughout my whole life, from kittens to seniors as well. There hasn't been a moment I haven't had at least one cat in my home. I've had a few other kinds of smaller critters too: guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and lizards. I'm well versed in pet body language and reading what they desire or need, and have lots of love to give your baby(ies)! They deserve the world. I absolutely adore all animals and spending time with them is my favorite activity. Rover is my full-time job, so I can spend as much time as needed with your fur baby and make frequent check-ins or walks if desired! If your companion(s) is friendly to strangers, I will be sure to give them plenty of attention, play time, petting, and walks (if applicable) in addition to basic care and any other requests. If they're not comfortable with new people, I will respect their space and boundaries based on what they're telling me so they feel relaxed and safe. Every animal is different and I adapt to their personality and pace.

About: Before leaving for college my parents bought a beautiful Pomeranian at 12 weeks old and she continues to be the sweetest girl ever. Now there are 2 Poms and I can just tell you I know how much effort goes into potty training, crate training, and behavior training! Being around that helped me realize the difficulties and differences between each dog. And since going to college I have dog walked for a few pet owners and I recognize the importance of following pet parent's guidelines and instructions and want to bring that service to you! With the end of my college semester approaching my schedule opens up significantly. I work ~30 hours a week, as early as 5:30 and as late as 7:30, with each shift being around 6.5 hours. With this my schedule allows me more time to check on your furry family easier. I cannot host pets in my dorm as the rules don't allow it. But! I have 2 Poms and understand just how sneaky and fast all animals can be! I am dedicated to protecting your pet as my own.

Our girl is a reactive rescue, and Amber was so kind and calm with her, which made all the difference. Our dog happily went with Amber for each walk, which was amazing, and Amber even braved a snowstorm to take our girl out for her walkies! About: Worked with PAWS at the University Of Minnesota which helps people meet animals safely. It helped me educate more people about how pets support mental health and wellbeing. My favorite thing in the world is hosting those angels in my residence. I’m currently taking summer classes but when im not in school i’m usually pretty free. I walk everyday in the morning so i usually like to have a buddy to accompany me! I prefer to adjust to the owner’s style rather than doing my own way. I’ve learned that cats and dogs especially can get pretty uncomfortable with sudden changes to their routines and schedules.

About: I could sit on the floor next to your dog or cat and give them love for hours. They are the sweetest beings on earth and I love to interact with them! I don’t have specialized training in pet care, but I do have years of experience dog-sitting and have a cat of my own who I adore. Hire me for a job well done and a low price, because I love long walks! I work in the orchestra so my schedule varies week to week but my hours are never long. Generally I am available before 10am and after 3:30pm with a hour break 12:30-1:30. Some days like Mondays and Fridays I am available all day. Most of August I am not working and am free anytime. I’m also happy to come to you if you need an overnight sitter. I offer care in clients’ homes, which means that I want your pet to receive the utmost care without you noticing that I was ever there.
