“We had a wonderful experience with Barbara. She invited us for a meet and greet which gave us a chance to see how our Scruffy would get along with her dog and to get to know Barbara. She clearly loves dogs and made a point to get to know me and learn about Scruffy. By the end of the meet and greet (actually even after about 5 minutes!), I felt very comfortable. Scruffy stayed with Barbara for 6 days while we were out of town. She was very responsive and I am confident Scruffy was well-loved and cared for. We have another booking set up with her.”

“can't say enough about the care that my dog Moose got from KiirstenC while I traveled over the holiday. ! It was our first experience with Rover. Moose was well fed, played with, snuggled, and truly loved by Kiirstenn and her family. She sent me texts and pictures while I was gone updating me on his activities. Moose is a Shih Tzu, Kiirsten's dog is also a Shih Tzu. She gets us! I can honestly say that I did not worry about Moose all the while I was gone. I would call upon Kiirsten to leave Moose with whenever I need to travel again, knowing he is loved and well taken care of when I cant be with him.”

“Kira and Alejandro are wonderful with my dog Atlas! They spent lots of time outside with him today and he had a blast playing with another dog. I know he’s in really good hands every time I leave him with them! He comes back home much better adjusted than when I drop him at the noisy dog daycare place which can often overstimulate him.”

“Hopps has enjoyed his days with Kara and the family. He looks forward to playing in the yard with Oscar, walks with the kiddos and having someone to follow around all day. Kara is so great at documenting the day with pictures and reporting on his activities. I know he’s in good hands 😊”
“First doggie sitter for our Harper and did we score big time!! Alyson is amazing. Harper came home happy and tired. It must have been a great time!! Thanks Alyson.”

“Very flexible, great communication, and friendly! My pup had a great time and I felt confident that he was in good hands. Would definitely book again!”

“Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. About: I feel that cats and dogs naturally tend to be close to me, which might be related to my personality. When I was helping my friend take care of a dachshund, I was told that he didn't like to interact with male beings. But on the second day of taking care of the dachshund, he would often circle around me and want to play with me with toys. I work in healthcare industry so basically I work remotely almost every day Therefore, I have the flexibility to play with the pets! Also, I live alone so they can be around me all the time, they will not be feeling left out! Regular feeding and freshwater is essential! I will also spend an amount of time every day to play with dogs! at last, I will provide a clean and pet friendly environment for them!

I have a fully fenced in yard that is tall enough to keep most dogs from jumping. Depending on the dogs needs, I am happy to limit outside time to walks or supervised yard play.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life: dogs, cats, hamsters, snakes, fish, turtles, you name it. I also work from home so your pet can get steady company and attention during the day, not just a quick in-and-out visit. Happy to water your plants during drop-ins too, so everything’s thriving when you get back. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me for years to feed, check in on, and snuggle their pets when they’re away, and I take that trust seriously. When a friend’s cat needed an emergency vet visit while they were overseas, I was there to handle it and keep them updated every step of the way. I also take direction well so if you’re working on training with your dog, I’ll follow your routine closely to keep things consistent while you’re away. I’m currently working from home so I am flexible with daytime walks and visits! I’m available for walks and drop-in visits, usually between 11am and 6pm I treat others space with the same respect I’d want mine to be treated with: I’m careful with entry access and making sure doors and gates are secure before I leave. I always double check food, water, and litter areas. If anything comes up, I stay calm, act quickly, and keep you informed the whole time.

About: Hi! my name Juliana. As an experienced pet caretaker, I have the knowledge and skills that make me the perfect choice for taking care of your pet! I have taken care of both family and friend’s pets ( cats and dogs) and I understand the importance of providing attentive and loving care to make sure they are comfortable and happy. As a Dachshund owner myself, I know how important it is to follow routines and keep in mind specific needs. You can trust that I will provide your furry friend/child with the same level of care and attention that I give my own. Currently my schedule is limited because I don’t work from home, except for Fridays. Therefore, I’m available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for walks and drop ins. I can easy walk your dog and provide the exercise they need around the North Loop / Downtown Minneapolis area. For cat owners, I can provide visits to make sure food and litter are taken care of. Additionally, I volunteer at Minneapolis Animal Care & Control with both cats and dogs, which has helped me to understand behaviors and how to manage difficult situations.
About: Hi I’ve had dogs of all sizes and medical conditions for my entire life. We are able to manage medications and special needs with great care. I have also been a volunteer at a pet rescue and do home checks to ensure safety for new owners. I am a nurse and I work full time with only ends up being 2-3 days a week so most of the time I am home with our toddler. We recently lost our old lady dog so our house is fully accommodating and accessible dogs of all sizes and mobility. We live in a townhouse so we do not have a lot of yard space but we have community areas and a great walking path and route for walks! We also have a toddler so our house is baby proofed and we monitor heavily for anything that may be a safety issue, this directly translates for our four-legged company!
“Great First Experience with Rover I used Rover for the first time to find a last-minute dog walker, and it was a fantastic experience. My walker was super communicative, accommodating, and made the process stress-free. I got updates, photos, and a happy pup at the end. Highly recommend and will use again!”

About: Before leaving for college my parents bought a beautiful Pomeranian at 12 weeks old and she continues to be the sweetest girl ever. Now there are 2 Poms and I can just tell you I know how much effort goes into potty training, crate training, and behavior training! Being around that helped me realize the difficulties and differences between each dog. And since going to college I have dog walked for a few pet owners and I recognize the importance of following pet parent's guidelines and instructions and want to bring that service to you! With the end of my college semester approaching my schedule opens up significantly. I work ~30 hours a week, as early as 5:30 and as late as 7:30, with each shift being around 6.5 hours. With this my schedule allows me more time to check on your furry family easier. I cannot host pets in my dorm as the rules don't allow it. But! I have 2 Poms and understand just how sneaky and fast all animals can be! I am dedicated to protecting your pet as my own.

About: Hello! I have been consistently house/dog sitting since 2023. I have experience in watching dogs from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I previously have watched three dogs at a time, so if you have more than one dog that is no problem. I also have experience in providing dogs with medications needed throughout the day. This includes insulin shots and capsules/pills mixed into their food. While you are away I prefer to keep the dog in its original home rather than hosting your dog. I do require a meet & greet before services. This is for my safety alongside for you and your puppies comfortability with my presence. Beyond all else it’s important to me that your dog stays comfortable. I have cared for anxious, storm scared, epileptic, loud barkers, and jumpy puppies. It’s important to me that you communicate your animals behavior or traits so I can care to the best of my ability. Without a doubt I will accommodate to your dogs feeding requirements and potty breaks. Alongside that give them lots of cuddles, kisses, playtime, and walks. As for you… I will communicate how your puppy is doing, when I arrive, if any complications arise, and send photos! Your dog is in safe hands. I currently work at a coffee shop a few times a week! My hours usually range from 4-5 hours. So it’s never long enough to leave your puppy for long periods of time. I will always honor your puppies scheduled eating times and potty breaks throughout the day! Pets are so so important! As a caregiver, I want to relieve your stress and allow you to know that your pets are in safe hands! If you would be so kind to welcome me into your home, I can take care of them there. I would prefer to keep your animals where they feel most comfortable. A fenced in backyard is preferred, but taking them out on a walk is no hassle! Provide me with all of the important details on your puppy, and I can provide service towards them! ❤️

(Diesel is not neutered and wanted to make babies with her dog) sarah arranged to pick up Diesel and took care of him. He was walked and could tell he had a good time because when we got him home he sprawled onto the floor tired lol. She took him on walks, played catch, cuddles and told me about his eating/bowel movements. She also sent pics while he was with her! I will definitely book with her again!”
