I am currently job searching to resume my career as a Software Engineer. I am taking care of pets full time until then. I love animals, and any job I do I take very seriously. I aim to update my schedule frequently to ensure it stays up to date! If I am unable to continue providing repeat services, I will provide at least two weeks notice to give you time to find another sitter.

A typical day
For dogs: a typical day is tailored to the specific animals but some general activities are: walks with lots of sniffing, treats (if allowed), playing, feeding, refreshing water, providing enrichment, and lots of pets. For cats: I can feed, refresh water, and clean litter daily. Always happy to play with them, sit with them for pets, or keep my distance from them, whichever they prefer.

I’ve always been an avid animal lover. I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, and other animals since I started my own pet sitting business as a kid. I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and cats, as well as farm animals from my time volunteering at a farm sanctuary weekly for over 2 years. I am available for dog walking and drop-in visits, where I can follow any specific instructions and also administer medication. I am available for both 30-minute walks as well as 60 minute sniffari-type walks. I provide comprehensive updates through Rover cards. I deeply empathize with fearful animals and always give them space to be themselves and feel comfortable. I use positive reinforcement/force-free as my preferred training methods.

Rob did an excellent job taking care of our cat, who can be difficult and standoffish. He was responsive to her needs and followed our directions well, even suggesting slight adjustments to facilitate a better experience for all. We recommend him wholeheartedly!
