About: Originally from central Wisconsin, I have grown up and take care of animals my entire life. From minature yorkies to rottweilers (and even ferrets), I have owned and cared for animals of all sizes and energy levels. Since moving to Minneapolis for college, I’ve really missed having dogs and pets in my life. Being around animals is therapeutic for me and can completely turn around a bad day. Honestly, I’m not doing this just for extra cash — I miss being around pets and love spending time with them, playing with them, and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for. I can't wait to meet your furry friends - thank you for your trust! I’m a recent college graduate with a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to care for your pets. I also work remotely, which allows me to be responsive, and flexible when it comes to finding times that work best for you and your pet’s needs. I have a fenced-in backyard with plenty of space for pets of all sizes to play and enjoy being outside. I also live in a spacious home, so your pets will have lots of room to feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home.

About: I've lived with animals my entire life and have been taking care of my own since I was about 7 years old. I've had a few dogs in my family: a chihuahua, shar pei, golden retriever, pomeranian, dachshund, and a chow chow; with experience from puppies to seniors. Cats have also been a constant throughout my whole life, from kittens to seniors as well. There hasn't been a moment I haven't had at least one cat in my home. I've had a few other kinds of smaller critters too: guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and lizards. I'm well versed in pet body language and reading what they desire or need, and have lots of love to give your baby(ies)! They deserve the world. I absolutely adore all animals and spending time with them is my favorite activity. Rover is my full-time job, so I can spend as much time as needed with your fur baby and make frequent check-ins or walks if desired! If your companion(s) is friendly to strangers, I will be sure to give them plenty of attention, play time, petting, and walks (if applicable) in addition to basic care and any other requests. If they're not comfortable with new people, I will respect their space and boundaries based on what they're telling me so they feel relaxed and safe. Every animal is different and I adapt to their personality and pace.

I’m quite flexible with my time and am also a homebody so your pet will get a lot of attention. I will accommodate your feeding schedule as best as I can. About: I’m an Animal Science graduate and I train service dogs with Can Do Canines, so I have a lot of experience working with dogs in different environments and understanding their behavior and needs. I’ve worked with puppies, high-energy dogs, and older pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m very attentive to body language and routines, and I always try to make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I also grew up with dogs and have hands-on experience raising and training my own family pets—including a feisty dachshund puppy who I helped train into a gentle, well-behaved dog, along with two other dogs with strong obedience and great temperaments. My background means I naturally reinforce good habits, use positive reinforcement, and keep things consistent with what your pet already knows. I truly love spending time with animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just giving them some extra attention and cuddles. After graduating from UMN, I’ll be working part-time at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Roseville (around 20 hours per week). My schedule varies slightly week to week, but this also gives me a lot of flexibility for pet care. Outside of my shifts, I have a wide availability and love filling my time caring for pets. I’m happy to work with your schedule and can often accommodate mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended stays. I currently provide care in clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable in their own environment and routine. I always take the time to learn your pet’s schedule, preferences, and any specific instructions so I can keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible. Safety is my top priority. I’m very attentive to surroundings on walks and in the home, and always monitor pets closely. With my background training service dogs, I’m confident handling a variety of behaviors and situations calmly and responsibly. I also have experience administering medications, including oral, topical, and injectable medications, and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions when needed. I respect your home as if it were my own, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly how you left them. I’m happy to send regular updates, photos, and communicate as much as you’d like so you can feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I have grown up with all sorts of dogs of all sizes. I have taken part in both training and caring for our family dogs, and there has not been a dog that I do not immediately love. Being with dogs is always entertaining and extremely rewarding. I am not currently working, and I have a lot of free time during my summer before my junior year of college. I am available at any time of day, and my schedule is very flexible until I start working in June. I am responsible for walking, feeding, and caring for our three dogs when my parents are working. It’s very common for me to spend time with my dogs in my down time such as playing with and accompanying them.

About: Hi! my name Juliana. As an experienced pet caretaker, I have the knowledge and skills that make me the perfect choice for taking care of your pet! I have taken care of both family and friend’s pets ( cats and dogs) and I understand the importance of providing attentive and loving care to make sure they are comfortable and happy. As a Dachshund owner myself, I know how important it is to follow routines and keep in mind specific needs. You can trust that I will provide your furry friend/child with the same level of care and attention that I give my own. Currently my schedule is limited because I don’t work from home, except for Fridays. Therefore, I’m available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for walks and drop ins. I can easy walk your dog and provide the exercise they need around the North Loop / Downtown Minneapolis area. For cat owners, I can provide visits to make sure food and litter are taken care of. Additionally, I volunteer at Minneapolis Animal Care & Control with both cats and dogs, which has helped me to understand behaviors and how to manage difficult situations.

About: I grew up in a 3-dog household, so learned to love animals at a young age. As I got older I helped my family care for our pets, which meant helping them as they reached older age. My dog Buddy developed glaucoma and I often helped my parents with his eye drop regime, among the other tender responsibilities of walking and caring for elderly dogs. I’ve dog sit for several friends and family since high school as well, which often meant going over to house sit and stay with the dogs for company. My current job is remote, part time, and lets me set my own hours week-to-week. As such, I’m fairly open throughout the weekdays and weekend. Reach out and we can figure something out! I enjoy being outside and taking pets for frequent walks to ensure they feel tired out, as well as playing with them to keep them mentally stimulated. About: Worked with PAWS at the University Of Minnesota which helps people meet animals safely. It helped me educate more people about how pets support mental health and wellbeing. To be completely honest i haven’t owned a dog myself, my experience consists of sitting, walking, and hosting dogs. I’m currently taking summer classes but when im not in school i’m usually pretty free. I walk everyday in the morning so i usually like to have a buddy to accompany me! I prefer to adjust to the owner’s style rather than doing my own way. I’ve learned that cats and dogs especially can get pretty uncomfortable with sudden changes to their routines and schedules. So expect a full interrogation before i take your pet!
