“Dawn was amazing with our two dogs! She kept us updated on everything and took some of the cutest pictures of our dogs that we've ever seen! We've booked with her twice now and will absolutely call her again when we need a dog walker! 100% recommend ♥️”

“Xan was great to work with! They took wonderful care of my dog and were communicative. I would definitely recommend them, and will book them again in the future.”

“Oliver has been great with making sure my dog gets a walk and some quality time. He always sends tons of pictures and great report cards that are fun to read. My dog can also be nervous/reactive, and Oliver's taken all of that in stride and done great work.”

About: I have experience caring for my neighbor's, friend's, and family's cats for over 10 years, most notably being the go-to cat sitter for my childhood neighbor. I have always lived with cats, including my 2 year old cat, Bitsy! I always love being the one to brighten a cat's day when their human is away. I aim to go above and beyond when caring for your cat and home, to ensure you have peace of mind when away. This includes engaging your cat in play to keep them stimulated and active, providing necessary grooming, and cleaning up messes caused by mischievous kittens! I have experience and am comfortable with administering medications, both in pill and liquid form. I work full time in the office during the day, and am available for pet care in the evenings and on the weekends. I am flexible about timing, and am willing to work with your preferences! I aim to go above and beyond when caring for your cat and home, to ensure you have peace of mind when away. This includes engaging your cat in play to keep them stimulated and active, providing necessary grooming, and cleaning up messes caused by mischievous kittens!
About: I have more free time than I know what to do with and I know most people work odd hours or long days and could use puppy help. I also live close to dog parks and dog friendly neighborhoods and can keep dogs active if they need it. I’ve puppy sat for multiple folks days at a time and for those who just need someone to take the pups out during the day. I did have a rescue named Georgie who recently passed, and I miss him dearly. He brought so much joy to my life, and while I'm not ready to adopt again, I would love to help take care of dogs who need some extra TLC! I am a part-time student who can help walk, feed, pet, etc, in the mornings and evenings, as well as weekends. My time is open at the moment! I am more than happy to follow any and all directions, and have had my own dog in the past. My late dog Georgie was a senior rescue who had cataracts and diabetes, so I definitely understand the importance of following safety guidelines.
About: I am currently on the pre-veterinary track studying to work with animals as my career. Over my summers I work as an educator and animal handler at a farm. I also have completed an internship with the wildlife rehabilitation center and a mammal nursery intern. I am currently a full time university student but have plenty of availability and flexibility. I am open to moving my days’ schedule around to fit different pet needs! I ensure that there is a mutual respect and understanding between humans and pets. It is important to treat your pets as you would people, and show care and affection as they truly understand it.
About: I've lived with animals my entire life and have been taking care of my own since I was about 7 years old. I've had a few dogs in my family; a chihuahua, shar pei, golden retriever, pomeranian, dachshund, and a chow chow, with experience from puppies to seniors. Cats have also been a constant throughout my entire life, also from kittens to seniors. There hasn't been a moment I haven't had at least one cat in my home. I've had a few other kinds of smaller critters as well; guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and lizards. I'm well versed in pet body language and reading what they desire or need, and have lots of love to give your baby(ies)! They deserve the world. I absolutely adore all animals and spending time with them is my favorite activity. I have plenty of free time right now and can spend as much time as needed with your fur baby and make frequent check-ins or walks if desired! If your companion(s) is friendly to strangers, I will be sure to give them plenty of attention, play time, petting, and walks (if applicable) in addition to basic care and any other requests. If they're not comfortable with new people, I will respect their space and boundaries based on what they're telling me so they feel relaxed and safe. Every animal is different and I adapt to their personality and pace.
“My dogs love it when Emily comes to hang out with them! I have two larger dogs (with one who can be leash reactive to other dogs) and she handles them wonderfully.”

About: Hi, I’m Izzy! I am a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve volunteered with the Animal Humane Society, where I worked directly with dogs and cats of all temperaments, helping with feeding, enrichment, socialization and general care. That experience taught me how to read animal behavior, build trust, and make every pet feel safe and loved. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I treat every animal like they’re my own. I’m reliable, patient and passionate about keeping pets happy and healthy while their families are away. You can count on me to provide attentive, loving care, and plenty of updates and photos along the way! I am not working at the moment, so I will be around most of the time to take care of your pet. I may step out to run errands, but other than that I’m a big homebody! I start by learning about each pet’s schedule, personality and any special needs, whether that’s medication, favorite toys or walking routes. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, along with clean water, fresh food and a tidy environment. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and take pride in keeping both your pets and your home well cared for. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing everything is going smoothly. My goal is to make your pets feel safe and loved while you’re away, and to leave your home just as you left it.

“Jessica did a wonderful job walking our high energy dog, Isabella! She was available for a meet and greet beforehand, has been great to communicate with, and our dog was very happy after the walk. We look forward to having Jessica walk Isa again!”

About: I grew up on a hobby farm with dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, and a donkey ! I am very familiar and comfortable around all kinds of animals. I currently have a cat who I love and frequently will dog and cat sit for friends In need! Current graduate student at the UMN. Currently I am working from home and thus am fairly flexible and can provide pet care most days of the week with flexible hours as you need me! I take care of animals as if they are my own. I understand that when owners are away from home, animals can be quite lonely and I love being able to make them more comfortable and give them much needed attention and care!

“We did a meet and greet and I was delighted to learn she cares for other pets in my neighborhood. Lucia has been so helpful walking my puppy Willow when I have long work days away from home. Highly recommend”

About: Hello! My name is Karson and I'm currently attending the University of Minnesota for my first Bachelor's Degree! I have experience working at Headwaters Animal Shelters for 2 years, 8 years of pet sitting, and 25 years pet loving and caring. I've always worked through word of mouth, but bills are piling up. So, I've expanded my audience to Rover. The worst you can expect from me is that your pet may like me ALMOST as much as you! I look forward to meeting your fuzzy friend(s)! I am currently completing my degree and therefore am only taking classes part time. I am free almost 24/7, spending only Monday and Wednesday at class from 11am-2pm, Tuesday 1:20pm-2:30pm, and Thursday 1:30pm-4:00pm. With all that free time your pet will be tired of me! Just as when you're out in the environment, it's important to leave no trace! When I am dog sitting in your home, you can expect to come back to a perfectly clean house. Your pet will be wagging their tail and happy to see you, but quick to take a nap due to all the exercise they've been getting. I am extremely careful when following any dietary or allergy restrictions. Additionally, due to my experience working at an animal shelter, I know how to administer most medicines, prevent any toxicity exposure, and care for any small wounds if needed. When caring for a pet in my home, you can expect them to receive far too much attention from me and both of my roommates. The benefit of having your pet in my home is that while I may be away only 11 hours a week at class, someone is almost always home. Your pet will never be left attended and will have it up to HERE with scratches behind their ear!
About: I have cared for dogs and cats throughout my life, growing up with several high energy breeds including pointers. I have trained puppies and watched over older animals with health conditions. I have volunteered at my local shelter and taken out dogs for socializing and training throughout the day. I am current in medical school, but have time off throughout the year with application season. I have a lot of flexibility and am willing to work with whatever you and your pet need! I can easily keep your pet in a separate environment from my one cat, as she likes her space. This would include my apartments second bedroom, closet and bathroom, so they would have plenty of space to get comfortable! I can stay in their and give your pet all the cuddles and love they deserve!

Beltrami dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was our first time working with Dawn, and it went great! She was very accommodating when setting up the meet and greet with our dog. Throughout the entire process, she was quick to communicate. She also provided detailed updates and adorable photos of our dog after the walk. I’m so glad we found someone we can trust to care for our dog. We will definitely be working with Dawn again in the future!

We used Ashley for about eight walks while my husband was on vacation. We had a positive experience with her. She is an excellent communicator, punctual, remembers everything I tell her about our dog Molly’s preferences and needs, and is generous and caring with our dog. A real sweetheart! She has flexibility in her schedule, in that a few days I needed her to come back for a second walk and she was able to do so. We will definitely use her again!
