About: I’m an Animal Science graduate and I train service dogs with Can Do Canines, so I have a lot of experience working with dogs in different environments and understanding their behavior and needs. I’ve worked with puppies, high-energy dogs, and older pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m very attentive to body language and routines, and I always try to make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I also grew up with dogs and have hands-on experience raising and training my own family pets—including a feisty dachshund puppy who I helped train into a gentle, well-behaved dog, along with two other dogs with strong obedience and great temperaments. My background means I naturally reinforce good habits, use positive reinforcement, and keep things consistent with what your pet already knows. I truly love spending time with animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just giving them some extra attention and cuddles. After graduating from UMN, I’ll be working part-time at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Roseville (around 20 hours per week). My schedule varies slightly week to week, but this also gives me a lot of flexibility for pet care. Outside of my shifts, I have a wide availability and love filling my time caring for pets. I’m happy to work with your schedule and can often accommodate mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended stays. I currently provide care in clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable in their own environment and routine. I always take the time to learn your pet’s schedule, preferences, and any specific instructions so I can keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible. Safety is my top priority. I’m very attentive to surroundings on walks and in the home, and always monitor pets closely. With my background training service dogs, I’m confident handling a variety of behaviors and situations calmly and responsibly. I also have experience administering medications, including oral, topical, and injectable medications, and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions when needed. I respect your home as if it were my own, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly how you left them. I’m happy to send regular updates, photos, and communicate as much as you’d like so you can feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I have CPR training, years of caretaking and medication administration experience, and a lifetime of loving on pets of all ages and sizes. Informal pet sitting has also been a part of my routine for many years. I have lots of free time this summer, and have many pockets of availability throughout the school year beginning in September, so I am happy to set up longer term relationships. I have a completely fenced yard, one friendly cat at home, and only a few steps for older dogs to handle. I am happy to follow any crazy routine you and your pet have!

About: Hi! I'm an animal lover who provides attentive, reliable pet care. As the adult account holder and caregiver, I will be responsible for all aspects of your pet's care, including walks, feeding, medication administration (if needed), and supervision. I also have a 10-year-old daughter who loves animals and may occasionally accompany me during walks or visits. Because of this, I ask that pets be comfortable around respectful, animal-savvy children. About: I’ve taken care of cats my whole life, from kittens to seniors, and since I was 12 I’ve watched my friends and neighbors dogs as well. I’ve given both cats and dogs medication as well as bottle fed them if they were too young for solid food. I have an incredibly flexible hybrid work schedule! Whatever you or your pets needs, I will be able to meet them without any work conflicts. You know your pet better than anyone. Whatever instructions you give me to keep them safe, happy, and healthy, I promise to follow exactly. About: I have two dogs and a cat. My dogs are 55-60 pounds each. I also have experience pet sitting and house sitting for several close friends. I’m currently not working a FT or PT job. My goal is to do rover solely, so I’m available every day for most of the day. I am very attentive and operations minded which means I’m punctual and organized. I’m also extremely empathetic and loving. I would treat your pets like I treat my own - with respect, divinity, and love. Play times are my favorite so your pets will have plenty of fun time with me. About: Hi! my name Juliana. As an experienced pet caretaker, I have the knowledge and skills that make me the perfect choice for taking care of your pet! I have taken care of both family and friend’s pets ( cats and dogs) and I understand the importance of providing attentive and loving care to make sure they are comfortable and happy. As a Dachshund owner myself, I know how important it is to follow routines and keep in mind specific needs. You can trust that I will provide your furry friend/child with the same level of care and attention that I give my own. Currently my schedule is limited because I don’t work from home, except for Fridays. Therefore, I’m available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for walks and drop ins. I can easy walk your dog and provide the exercise they need around the North Loop / Downtown Minneapolis area. For cat owners, I can provide visits to make sure food and litter are taken care of. Additionally, I volunteer at Minneapolis Animal Care & Control with both cats and dogs, which has helped me to understand behaviors and how to manage difficult situations.

About: We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. I (Kara) grew up always having a dog in the family, and as soon as I could, I acquired one of my own. I've learned that dogs need people, but people need dogs just as much. All this to say, we can't imagine a world without these furry little companions! With many attentive people in our household, your dog will never have needs unmet. Whether it be snuggles, toys, pets, walks, playtimes, food... be assured we can handle it! We can't wait to meet your dog! We both work in education, so our summers are very open & flexible and offer so many opportunities for dog walks, dog parks, pet cuddles, etc. We have a fenced back yard and get on many outings with our own high energy dog. We do on long walks daily and often to the off leash dog park (if your dog is licensed in Minneapolis). We have a friendly cat that mostly keeps to herself around dogs, but she does not allow other cats in the home (so we are unable to board cats.)

About: I have 23 years of pet ownership experience (cats, reptiles, and a simple fish tank). I also have a bit of volunteer experience training service dogs and have taken care of friends' pets while they're away. I work my other job from home and determine my own hours, so my schedule is generally very flexible. I have a weekday evening commitment a couple times a week, but I can easily work around that two hour block of time. I love animals and will do everything I can to take care of yours as if they're my own. Let's discuss medical needs before booking, and I will make sure I have your vet's information in case of emergencies. I require a meet & greet for first time bookings. This is a complimentary visit to meet your animals, learn the routines, and ask each other any questions we need to make sure they get the best care.

About: I've lived with animals my entire life and have been taking care of my own since I was about 7 years old. I've had a few dogs in my family: a chihuahua, shar pei, golden retriever, pomeranian, dachshund, and a chow chow; with experience from puppies to seniors. Cats have also been a constant throughout my whole life, from kittens to seniors as well. There hasn't been a moment I haven't had at least one cat in my home. I've had a few other kinds of smaller critters too: guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and lizards. I'm well versed in pet body language and reading what they desire or need, and have lots of love to give your baby(ies)! They deserve the world. I absolutely adore all animals and spending time with them is my favorite activity. Rover is my full-time job, so I can spend as much time as needed with your fur baby and make frequent check-ins or walks if desired! If your companion(s) is friendly to strangers, I will be sure to give them plenty of attention, play time, petting, and walks (if applicable) in addition to basic care and any other requests. If they're not comfortable with new people, I will respect their space and boundaries based on what they're telling me so they feel relaxed and safe. Every animal is different and I adapt to their personality and pace.

About: I’m a college student who had the pleasure to work with the PAWS program at the University Of Minnesota which helps people meet animals safely. It helped me educate more people about how pets support mental health and wellbeing. My favorite thing in the world is hosting those angels in my residence. I’m currently taking summer classes but when im not in school i’m usually pretty free. I walk everyday in the morning so i usually like to have a buddy to accompany me! I prefer to adjust to the owner’s style rather than doing my own way. I’ve learned that cats and dogs especially can get pretty uncomfortable with sudden changes to their routines and schedules.

About: Before moving to Minnesota I lived with my roommates dog for 4 years. Her dog, Tabby, was a part of our little roomie family and my roommate could rely on me to help out with daily care needs (i.e. watching her when she went on trips, feeding, walking, potty breaks, play time, etc.) I am now missing the presence of a fur baby in my life and would love to opportunity to work with your dog this summer and beyond. I am a kind, caring and responsible individual who you can rely on to treat your dog as if it were my own. I'm currently working part time so I have a fairly flexible schedule. I am free full time for weekend sitting Saturday-Monday. I also am free during the day some Wednesdays and every Friday. I have evening availability every weeknight except Friday. I am happy to abide by any house rules you have for your dog (i.e. furniture rules, crating, etc.) While I can't host dogs in my own home due to landlord restrictions, if I were to come into your home I would treat it as my own and leave it how I found it. I am happy to provide companionship, feeding, walks, or potty breaks depending on your needs.

About: I work at pet hospital as a veterinary assistant now. I have 1 large dog which is Alaskan malamute, 1 medium sized dog Shiba Inu and 3 cats which are British shorthair, ragdoll and domestic cat. I am professional at taking care of them. I majored in animal science working on pre veterinary programs at the University of Minnesota twin cities. I can do basic wellness check for pets. I used to help my friends taking care of their dogs including walking two dogs together, feed and bath. I’m basically free every day. I love all kinds of animals and play with them and I believe I can provide great care for them I have a huge basement and first floor for my pets to play in the house and he is well trained by me as an ESA dog. My cats are very sweet. I’m good at getting along with pets. Even my Guinea pig is friendly to humans and petable

About: Hi, I’m Lydia — dog mom, belly rub expert, and professional sniff-spot scout. I’ve spent 15 years learning what dogs actually want (hint: it’s all of the above), and a lifetime growing up with dogs and cats of every personality. Energetic or chill, young or old, I’ve got them covered. My daily and weekly routine revolves around pet care. My dog is my first thought when I wake up and the last thing I worry about before bed. I have an abundance of parks near my home that I can take your fur baby to for both exercise and play. I love a good adventure.

About: Hi friends! My name is Robin, I’m 29, and I’m an artist living in northeast Minneapolis currently working in the service industry. While I don’t have any pets of my own, I am my community’s right-hand-gal when it comes to pet care. I also spend my free time often reading and consuming content about dog training and working with reactive pups. It is important to me that my presence is known by the animals in my life to be calm and joyful and consistent. I’ve got lots of attention to give and lots of patience - looking to overflow back into the families around me through helping care and tend to their pets. I am most familiar with having small dogs be a part of my family but have built my pet experience recipe to the brim with dogs of all sizes and ages as well as playful & shy cats and kittens. Don’t let the “gap in my resume” fool you - I’ve been servicing families in my area consistently (they just text me the old fashioned way ;)). I am currently in-between jobs so I have more open availability than normal. I currently have a standing commitment Wed-Friday 1pm-3pm, but that is my only limitation at this time. I am located in NE Minneapolis. I like to simulate what a normal day might look like for them while adapting to their particular needs surrounding getting to know a new friend (me!). I pride myself in being able to match the energy of animals and display to them that my job is to make sure they’re safe and I do not need to be in their physical space when they don’t want it. I love cuddling up with a lil silly sleepy pal but I won’t even be putting my hands on them regularly until/unless it is absolutely clear that they’re ready and wanting attention from me like that.
