When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all provided instructions closely to maintain their normal routine and environment. I prioritize keeping each pet comfortable by respecting their established feeding schedules, walking routines, and any specific behavioral or medical needs. I make it a point to ensure they feel calm, secure, and well-attended to while their owner is away or unavailable. During walks, I focus on safe, structured, and engaging outings tailored to each dog’s energy level, temperament, and preferences. I stay fully attentive throughout the walk, maintaining control and awareness of surroundings to ensure safety at all times. I avoid distractions and prioritize a calm, confident handling style so each dog feels secure and supported. In both settings, I treat every home with care and professionalism—leaving spaces exactly as I found them and maintaining clear communication with owners as needed. My approach is built on trust, consistency, and respect for both the pet and the owner’s space. Also I have a super-loving golden retriever who loves to make new friends! So if your dog is looking for more social time, meeting Cooper is an option as well!

Curtis is a great dog walker. My dog Lucy won’t walk with just anyone, but she loves Curtis and happily walks with him. He was always on time and sent wonderful pictures of my pup.

Curtis was great with my high energy husky mix! He arrived punctually for Toby’s walk and I could immediately tell Curtis had an affinity for animals- he was calm, attentive, and met Toby’s enthusiasm. Due to a scheduling error on my part, we had to reschedule Toby’s walk under short notice and Curtis responded quickly to my communications and was flexible with the adjustment. Toby was immediately comfortable with Curtis and I’d very happily have Curtis walk him again!

Curtis has watched our two dogs multiple times and he is always wonderful with them! My wife and I have complete trust that they are in good hands with him. It is obvious that he really cares for the animals and enjoys what taking care of them and our dogs always have a great time!
Curtis is the primary caretaker of our puppy when we are traveling. He does an amazing job caring for our Ruthie. Ruthie adores him. Dogs know and can tell when people love them. All dogs love Curtis. We highly recommend him to walk your dogs!

Schedule
Pet care is central to both my current routine and the career I’m actively building. I am transitioning into dog walking as my full-time focus, so my schedule is intentionally structured around availability, consistency, and giving each pet my full attention. I have availability during for blocks of time each day: morning, midday, afternoon, and evening. I plan my day around these commitments rather than fitting them in around other obligations, which ensures that every walk is treated as a priority rather than an afterthought. Ultimately, pet care isn’t just part of my routine—it is the foundation of my professional path moving forward. Every dog I walk is treated with the same level of care, attention, and responsibility as if they were my own, because their safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.
