About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats as a service since 2016. Every animal is different so I enjoy speaking with the owners beforehand and getting to bond with critters that are different than mine. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes and love caring for cats. I have cared for Guinea Pigs, chickens, pigs, goats, sheep and cattle as well. Farm sitting outside of the Twin Cities area available on weekends only ( Fri.pm-Sun afternoon). Weekly stays available only in Minneapolis due to full-time employment. I’m available weekends for walks and animal care. I’m a full-time employee so weekday evening walks after 5pm work best for my schedule. Previously, I have stayed overnight to keep the in home animals company and keep the house safe while folks are away. I can clean and bring in the mail. Whatever your expectations are I am happy to accommodate.

About: Local resident of NE Minneapolis and owner of a 4 yr old Husky, I love dogs of all breeds and sizes! I provide daycare for your beloved furry friends at my house while I work remotely. My home has a fenced in backyard with a kiddy pool for them to run around in, a walking trail down the street, and a dog park nearby! I provide daily walks to the local park or trips to the dog park so they are well exercised and socialized while you are away. There is amble space for the dogs to play in the house (no crates are provided) with toys to plays with and treats! For overnight stays, you will get daily updates on how your dog is doing with photos. I work from home so I can let your pups outside into the backyard for potty breaks often, take them for a daily walk, and offer engaging treats/toys while I work. I’m done by 3pm most days so trips to the dog park are very common! Reliability, trust, and a calm environment are at the center of what I do. Your dog will be welcomed into a clean, secure, and loving home where they’ll be treated like family. I prioritize consistent communication with owners, close supervision, and plenty of affection so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. My goal is to create a safe, stress-free space where your pup feels comfortable, happy, and cared for.

About: Hello! I have been consistently house/dog sitting since 2023. I have experience in watching dogs from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I previously have watched three dogs at a time, so if you have more than one dog that is no problem. I also have experience in providing dogs with medications needed throughout the day. This includes insulin shots and capsules/pills mixed into their food. While you are away I prefer to keep the dog in its original home rather than hosting your dog. I do require a meet & greet before services. This is for my safety alongside for you and your puppies comfortability with my presence. Beyond all else it’s important to me that your dog stays comfortable. I have cared for anxious, storm scared, epileptic, loud barkers, and jumpy puppies. It’s important to me that you communicate your animals behavior or traits so I can care to the best of my ability. Without a doubt I will accommodate to your dogs feeding requirements and potty breaks. Alongside that give them lots of cuddles, kisses, playtime, and walks. As for you… I will communicate how your puppy is doing, when I arrive, if any complications arise, and send photos! Your dog is in safe hands. I currently work at a coffee shop a few times a week! My hours usually range from 4-5 hours. So it’s never long enough to leave your puppy for long periods of time. I will always honor your puppies scheduled eating times and potty breaks throughout the day! Pets are so so important! As a caregiver, I want to relieve your stress and allow you to know that your pets are in safe hands! If you would be so kind to welcome me into your home, I can take care of them there. I would prefer to keep your animals where they feel most comfortable. A fenced in backyard is preferred, but taking them out on a walk is no hassle! Provide me with all of the important details on your puppy, and I can provide service towards them! ❤️

About: We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. We go back to our full-time jobs as educators on August 25, so our calendar reflects our school year availability (mostly weekends and some school breaks!) I (Kara) grew up always having a dog in the family, and as soon as I could, I acquired one of my own. I've learned that dogs need people, but people need dogs just as much. All this to say, we can't imagine a world without these furry little companions! With many attentive people in our household, your dog will never have needs unmet. Whether it be snuggles, toys, pets, walks, playtimes, food... be assured we can handle it! We can't wait to meet your dog! We both work in education, so our summers are very open & flexible and offer so many opportunities for dog walks, dog parks, pet cuddles, etc. Once the school year starts, our calendar reflects our weekend and school break availability! We have a fenced back yard and get on many outings with our own high energy dog. We do on long walks daily and often to the off leash dog park (if your dog is licensed in Minneapolis). We have a friendly cat that mostly keeps to herself around dogs, but she does not allow other cats in the home (so we are unable to board cats.)

About: I grew up with cats and dogs and currently have two cats of my own. I love walking, playing and snuggling with dogs. I love playing and snuggling with cats. I currently watch my friends dogs and cats and would love to meet more furry friends. Although I am not a trainer, I would love to continue any training you are working on with your pet while you are gone. I work as a therapist from 10-6 Monday through Thursdays, so I am free to check in on your animals or take them on walks in the morning or evening on those days. Friday through Sunday I am available to check in on your pets or take them on walks anytime. Any opportunity to get more time with animals makes me happy! I am a big believer in building trust with animals! Each animal is unique and you are the expert in your pets, so I will follow any directions given. I really love how every animal has it's own personality, so I enjoy getting to learn that while I take care of them!

About: Growing up, animals were always part of my life. My aunt managed our town’s humane society, so our home was often full of pets and foster animals. I grew up caring for both dogs and cats and have been hands-on with daily care for as long as I can remember. I’ve spent 15 years learning what dogs actually want (hint: it’s all of the above), and a lifetime growing up with dogs and cats of every personality. Energetic or chill, young or old, I’ve got them covered. My daily and weekly routine revolves around pet care. My dog is my first thought when I wake up and the last thing I worry about before bed. I have an abundance of parks near my home that I can take your fur baby to for both exercise and play. I love a good adventure.

About: My family and friends rely on me to help out with their pets. I enjoy providing engagement activities for pets, which keeps their bodies and brains active. I provide a lot of attention to pets, with a lot of detail to food and their needs for going outside. With every pet I care for, I ensure that their needs are being met, and that they are happy. I work remotely part-time, so I am able to drop in when needed on weekdays (except Wednesdays and Thursdays). I also have evening and weekend availability as well. In my own home, I have a fenced yard. I also partition parts of my house as well. I leash dogs any time I need to take them out for a potty break. I also make sure that foods are out of reach, because I understand pets have different food sensitivities. When pets are playing with toys, I make sure to monitor them so they do not accidentally swallow anything.

About: I’ve petsit for neighbors and family since I can remember and we always had pets at home. I have taken care of puppy litters, German shepherds and even birds! I am in between jobs currently so I have a flexible and open schedule to be available for your fur babies when you can’t be. It’s so fun getting to know different personalities of our pets. About: Hi friends! My name is Robin, I’m 29, and I’m an artist living in northeast Minneapolis currently working in the service industry. While I don’t have any pets of my own, I am my community’s right-hand-gal when it comes to pet care. I also spend my free time often reading and consuming content about dog training and working with reactive pups. It is important to me that my presence is known by the animals in my life to be calm and joyful and consistent. I’ve got lots of attention to give and lots of patience - looking to overflow back into the families around me through helping care and tend to their pets. I am most familiar with having small dogs be a part of my family but have built my pet experience recipe to the brim with dogs of all sizes and ages as well as playful & shy cats and kittens. Don’t let the “gap in my resume” fool you - I’ve been servicing families in my area consistently (they just text me the old fashioned way ;)). I am currently in-between jobs so I have more open availability than normal. I currently have a standing commitment Wed-Friday 1pm-3pm, but that is my only limitation at this time. I am located in NE Minneapolis. I like to simulate what a normal day might look like for them while adapting to their particular needs surrounding getting to know a new friend (me!). I pride myself in being able to match the energy of animals and display to them that my job is to make sure they’re safe and I do not need to be in their physical space when they don’t want it. I love cuddling up with a lil silly sleepy pal but I won’t even be putting my hands on them regularly until/unless it is absolutely clear that they’re ready and wanting attention from me like that.

About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.
