“My dog received a minor injury on a walk with Kendall. It was 100% an accident that wasn't preventable and WAS NOT caused by any negligence or action on Kendall's part. Kendall called me right away. I couldn't answer because I was driving, so she left a detailed message and also sent me a text message. She sent me pictures and stayed with my dog until she calmed down. She also promptly contacted Rover to document the incident. The next day she texted to check how my dog was doing. I really appreciate how she handled the situation. I've already booked another walk with Kendall. She's great with my dog, flexible, responsive, and reliable. I highly recommend her!”

About: Hello! Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I am a huge animal lover and have grown up/cared for dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with mostly Norwegian Elkhounds but had one Carin terrier find his way to my family. Currently I have 1 Norwegian Elkhound named Bear who is about 6 years old and my best friend. My boyfriend and I recently adopted 2 cats from the animal Humane Society named Jack and Lucas. I have been pet sitting since high school and have taken care of cats, dogs, rabbit, fish and hamsters. When I am not with animals I can be found hiking, reading, knitting or playing video games. I am currently making my way through the Nancy Drew series and hoping to finish a scarf by Christmas time. I try to stay active and like taking my dog on long walks especially in the summer. I am currently go to school full time. Which allows me to prioritize caring for my pets and lets me fit a wide ranging of scheduling needs. My pets currently run the home. They have free reign of the entire house and nap, eat and sometimes even potty where ever they like.

About: We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. We go back to our full-time jobs as educators on August 25, so our calendar reflects our school year availability (mostly weekends and some school breaks!) I (Kara) grew up always having a dog in the family, and as soon as I could, I acquired one of my own. I've learned that dogs need people, but people need dogs just as much. All this to say, we can't imagine a world without these furry little companions! With many attentive people in our household, your dog will never have needs unmet. Whether it be snuggles, toys, pets, walks, playtimes, food... be assured we can handle it! We can't wait to meet your dog! We both work in education, so our summers are very open & flexible and offer so many opportunities for dog walks, dog parks, pet cuddles, etc. Once the school year starts, our calendar reflects our weekend and school break availability! We have a fenced back yard and get on many outings with our own high energy dog. We do on long walks daily and often to the off leash dog park (if your dog is licensed in Minneapolis). We have a friendly cat that mostly keeps to herself around dogs, but she does not allow other cats in the home (so we are unable to board cats.)

About: I have 23 years of pet ownership experience (cats, reptiles, and a simple fish tank). I also have a bit of volunteer experience training service dogs and have taken care of friends' pets while they're away. I work my other job from home and determine my own hours, so my schedule is generally very flexible. I have a weekday evening commitment a couple times a week, but I can easily work around that two hour block of time. I love animals and will do everything I can to take care of yours as if they're my own. Let's discuss medical needs before booking, and I will make sure I have your vet's information in case of emergencies. I require a meet & greet for first time bookings. About: I work from home and attend university online as well. So I will be with my furry friends 24/7. I never really leave them alone. When I doggy sit, I've always thought of them as my own while they are around. While I have them, I get to play with them, walk around and get my walks in, enjoy Netflix on the couch, and more importantly naps and cuddles together! When I walk them, I am always aware of other dogs and I'm always protective of "my" dogs, unless I know for sure the other dog/s are super nice. I love a happy dog. My partner can tell you I cry easily when I see a suffering animal of any kind, especially dogs. So If I'm doggy sitting, I make sure they know love. I work from home so this would be a great opportunity for me to make extra money but to also have a dog around. My two cats, Felix and Oscar, past away recently (they had a great 20 years!) and I miss having a pet buddy around. I've been a regular dog sitter for my friends (shout out to Jake the shy but awesome boston terrier, Kingsley the lovable and kind pit bull and Gus Gus the instagram famous french bull dog!) So, I know this will be a great opportunity for me. I work from home and attend university online so I am home 24/7. Unless it's an emergency, I will be with your dog ALL the time I'm with them. I love and follow instructions very well and in detail pertaining to the dogs' specific care given to me. I ALWAYS send daily photos and messages with updates about the dogs.

About: Hi friends! My name is Robin, I’m 29, and I’m an artist living in northeast Minneapolis currently working in the service industry. While I don’t have any pets of my own, I am my community’s right-hand-gal when it comes to pet care. I also spend my free time often reading and consuming content about dog training and working with reactive pups. It is important to me that my presence is known by the animals in my life to be calm and joyful and consistent. I’ve got lots of attention to give and lots of patience - looking to overflow back into the families around me through helping care and tend to their pets. I am most familiar with having small dogs be a part of my family but have built my pet experience recipe to the brim with dogs of all sizes and ages as well as playful & shy cats and kittens. Don’t let the “gap in my resume” fool you - I’ve been servicing families in my area consistently (they just text me the old fashioned way ;)). I am currently in-between jobs so I have more open availability than normal. I currently have a standing commitment Wed-Friday 1pm-3pm, but that is my only limitation at this time.
